Benda, Ondřej ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with high-speed communication equipment based on Cisco 2821. Includes description of facilities, physical and logical diagrams, instructions for basic orientation in the operating system Cisco IOS, and the procedure for the preparation of the workplace. Further in this document, there are three laboratory task on the topic of MPLS IP, Traffic engineering with MPLS and Circuit emulation over IP. Each task includes introduction, instructions for the elaboration, the question of the task, desired outcome and brief guide for teachers.
Analysis of WiFi Traffic at the BUT
Lacina, Vojtěch ; Matoušek, Petr (referee) ; Čejka, Rudolf (advisor)
This work inquires into problem of current wifi traffic on VUT. The traffic has been captured with tcpdump program, anonymized and analyzed in process of creating this work. All this in order to get insight into it's nature. Resulting informations imply the need for traffic shaping which is described later in work. This work tries to determine most fitting means of traffic shaping which would result in improved quality of connection for interactive applications as well as greater satisfaction of provider (VUT) and users.
Quality of Services in WAN
Koblížek, Michal ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Šťastný, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is inquire into direct traffic in computer network based on TCP/IP protocol. In the finish we can direct packets, that network traffic will behave by our rules. We will use only free software for this solution – this solution is based on FreeBSD system, PF packet firewall and queue framework ALTQ. Part of this thesis make examples queuing include fullversion scripts that are in elektronic appendix. The thesis was developed in research project MSM 0021630529 Intelligent Systems in Automation.
Návrh inovace podnikové počítačové sítě středního rozsahu
Smolinský, Daniel
This work focuses on the design innovation of computer network small and medium-sized business in the field of physical security, communications and operational management and access control. It includes the base of these areas in security policy. The proposed solution takes into account the current technological and safety requirements, which determine the rules and standards networks. In this project is processed the financial analysis of the components that are necessary for innovation networks.

Callcentrum System Management in a chosen Firm
Guzi, Jan ; Černý, Jan (advisor) ; Novák, Michal (referee)
This thesis deals with operational management of an inbound call center and planning necessary work capacities. Company BEZREKLAMKY Ltd. established its own inbound call center, as a reaction to the dissatisfaction with the services of an external service provider and it is necessary to properly optimize operational capacities and human resources necessary to serve 5 to 7 thousand customer callers per month. Practical part of the thesis - planning of the workforce capacity, scheduling the shifts and planning the opening hours of the inbound call center - works with a rather extensive theoretical platform, which brings new views of operations management inbound call centre and also works with the internal and external surveys related to the functionality of newly established inbound call centre. Conclusions made on the basis of the theoretical part were applied directly to the planning and operational management of the inbound customer call centre. This thesis helped applied over 25 conclusions for the studied inbound call centers. The goals, which the company set out to fulfill, while planning the new department, are then partly validated via models of system dynamics and in the last section of the thesis reflects on the extent to which these goals are feasible.
