Interconnection of school libraries in teaching in secondary schools

This bachelor thesis brings a case study focusing on better integration of the activities of school libraries in an educational process and prepars a draft suggesting how to implement the knowledge in the area of Information and Library Studies into the framework education plan for high schools. The case study relates to the library of Gymnasium Přibram, Legionářů 402. The work has a theoretical part developing policies and work possibilities of school libraries within their schools. In the application Part it processes, implements, and evaluates the example lesson for the educational area Man and Society on the topic of information sources for historical seminary,citation ethics. It is the level of literacy of children on the basis of the findings of international surveys PISA and IALS. Analyzes technical, spatial and personal capacities involvement of school libraries in the education of students. Analysis framework educational plan for the student competence grammar sets that are consistent with the content of information literacy standards. Understanding of Society by Czech Pre-school Children

TITLE: Understanding of Society by Czech Pre-school Children AUTHOR: Nikol Tomášková DEPARTMENT: Institute for Research and Development of Education SUPERVISOR: RNDr. Dominik Dvořák, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The society's need to teach financial literacy to children of as early as pre-school age is ever increasing. Since there is number of methodologies currently being developed on this topic, the author considers crucial to explore a child's conception of socioeconomic phenomena associated with financial literacy before these guidelines are introduced in Czech nursery schools for practical use. In this thesis pre-school children's perception of such phenomena as profession, employment and associated financial flows, as well as the concept of poverty and wealth are being examined. Theoretical basis of this research uses certain principles of the constructivist model of development and education within the general framework of pre- school education. Our work has been also influenced by the ideas of J. Piaget and L. S. Vygotsky, in particular by those on children's thinking and thought processes. Teaching of bank holidays and next significant days in Education to Citizenship classes

This diploma thesis is focused on important cultural and social connections of bank holiday and next significant days incorporation into Education to Citizenship on the second grade of primary schools. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical part. The theoretical one is dealing with the definition and characterization of bank holidays and next significant days in the Czech Republic. In the next part there is described curricular reform of schooling and its documents. In the practical part there is analysed Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education into which are reflected problems of teaching of bank holidays and significant days in primary schools. Afterwards is researching focused on analysis of School Education Programme of Primary School and Kindergarten School for everyone in Osová Bítýška. The author is looking at bank holidays and next significant days incorporation into Education to Citizenship curriculum. In this part there are analysed Education to Citizenship textbooks with valid clause of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as well. Subsequently there were created model education units which were used in chosen primary school. The conclusion of diploma thesis is dealing with evaluation of realized classes and appraisal of contribution of created activities to pupils.
F. M. DOSTOYEVSKY: THE IDIOT Costume Design

This thesis F. M. Dostoevsky: The Idiot deals with the life of the author with an emphasis on his work, which is always current, because it concerns itself with increasingly vital topics related to human life. The thesis also deals with issues that are key to understanding Dostoevsky and his perception of the world and discusses the previous staging of the play in the Czech Republic, focusing on the work of the director Miroslav Krobot. Primarily, however, this thesis represents a detailed analysis of Dostoevsky's The Idiot and a detailed analysis of the individual dramatic characters within the play, with a focus on their internal processes and relationships, which are then expressed through costume.
Vedení lidí k vyššímu výkonu ve společnosti STUZAM spol. s r. o.

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou a vyhodnocením současného stavu vedení lidí ve společnosti STUZAM, spol. s r. o.. V rámci vedení lidí jsou zpracovány i další oblasti a to motivace a stimulace pracovníků, hodnocení pracovníků a odměňování pracovníků. V rámci výzkumu jsem analyzoval a vyhodnotil názory zaměstnanců a managementu na oblast vedení pracovníků nadřízeným, motivování zaměstnanců nadřízeným, hodnocení zaměstnanců nadřízeným a odměňování zaměstnanců nadřízeným. Na základě zjištění z výzkumu jsem stanovil praktická doporučení ke zlepšení stávajícího stavu.
