Evaluation of forest vegetation based on time series of remote sensing data
Laštovička, Josef ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Brom, Jakub (referee) ; Bucha, Tomáš (referee)
Příloha k disertační práci: Abstrakt v AJ (Mgr. Josef Laštovička) Abstract This dissertation thesis deals with the study of forest ecosystems in the central Europe with the time series of multispectral optical satellite data. These forest ecosystems have been influenced by biotic and abiotic disturbances for the last decade. The time series of the satellite data with high spatial resolution allow the detection and analysis of forest disturbances. This thesis is mainly focused primally on free available Landsat and Sentinel-2 data, these two data types were compared. From methods, the difference time series analyses / algorithms were used. The whole thesis can be divided into two main parts. The first one analyses usability of classifiers for detection of forest ecosystems with per-pixel and sub-pixel methods. Specifically, the Neural Network, the Support Vector Machine and the Maximum Likelihood per-pixel classifiers were used and compared for different types of data (for data with high spatial resolution - Landsat or Sentinel-2; very high spatial resolution - WorldView-2) and for classification of protected forest areas. The Support Vector Machine were selected as the most suitable method for forest classifications (with most accurate outputs) from the list of selected per-pixel classifiers. Also, Spectral...
Anomaly detection for stock market trading data
Fusková, Martina ; Kofroň, Jan (advisor) ; Kliber, Filip (referee)
Stock trading is a very complex topic that involves a lot of challenging problems. One of these problems is anomaly detection in trading flow. Real-time anomaly detection in time series is a very complicated task and thus this issue is still open. The aim of this thesis is to research various models and algorithms that can be used for this task and try to find the most fitting ones. We develop models that detect anomalies based on the density properties of the data as well as statistical models and neural networks that detect anomalies based on the comparison of predicted data and actual data. As a result we propose models that can be further researched and used in real-time environment.
Probability forecast in exponential smoothing models
Viskupová, Barbora ; Hudecová, Šárka (advisor) ; Cipra, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis deals with the use of statistical state space models of exponential smooth- ing for estimating the conditional probability distribution of future values of time series. This knowledge allows calculation of interval predictions, not only point forecasts. Meth- ods of exponential smoothing are described and set into the context of state space models. Analytical and simulation methods used in the calculation of interval predictions are presented, in particular simulations based on assumption of normality, bootstrap method or estimated parametric model. The methods are applied to simulated as well as real data and their results are compared. 1
Identifikace faktorů ovlivňujících ceny stavebních pozemků v ČR
Sellnerová, Jana
The diploma thesis deals with determination of factors affecting the prices of building plots in the Czech Republic. Land prices were analysed from a microeconomic and macroeconomic point of view. Cross-sectional data were used for microeconomic analyzes, and time series compiled from quarterly data were selected for macroeconomic analysis. Macroeconomic analysis of land price developments was carried out for the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria, and the results of country analyses were then compared. The results of the microeconomic analysis were compared with other work on the same issue. The individual models were created using the least squares method in gretl. Time series for Germany and the Czech Republic were compiled for the period from the first quarter of 2005 to the last quarter of 2015, for Austria it was a period from the first quarter of 2006 to the last quarter of 2015.
Statistické srovnání a modelování tržeb v podniku zahradnického sektoru
Novotná, Pavla
This bachelor thesis concerns the company Adam - zahradnická plc, it is statistically comparing and modelling sales of both centres of this company. The thesis is divided into two parts. In theoretical part there is introduced summary of classification of the company according to different criteria and consequently there are elucidated main factors influencing the volume of sales. Practical part is focused on use of statistical and econometrical methods on real data of the company from the last decade. It is about decompositional methods of time series with subsequent predictions and solving regression question of dependence sales on weather, concretely on amount of precipitation and average temperatures. In the end we summarize outcomes of our modelling and we suggest other possible areas convenient for research.
Nabídka na trhu s obuví v ČR
Novosadová, Šárka
This thesis deals with analysis of different components of footwear propositions on Czech footwear market from year 1993 to 2015. More specifically it is focused on footwear production, total import from abroad and only China´s importation. There is a closer description of footwear market situation and basic indexes of footwear industry in theoretical part of this work. Its practical part considers decomposition of single time series and detection of structural change in their development. Source data for this part was taken from web pages of Czech Statistical Office and from Czech shoe polish and leather making association studies.
Ekonomické souvislosti pořádání festivalu Folkové prázdniny
Němcová, Hana
This bachelor thesis deals with the economic evaluation Folk Holidays Festival for period 2000 - 2016 with focusing on the individual components of revenue and costs. In theoretical part there is summary of the literary overview characterizing non-profit organizations and their budget, subsequently the festival itself is described with its financing. The practical part of the thesis uses the analysis of decomposition of time series on the real dates of the festival. At the end of the thesis there are the results of the modeling summarized and suggested recommendations for the organizer of the festival.
Vývoj automobilového trhu a průmyslu v ČR a jeho vliv na státní rozpočet
Nejerál, Vojtěch
This bachelor thesis deals with the automotive market and industry in the Czech Republic, and its support from the state budget. Research of literature introduces an important subjects in the Czech automotive industry, explains the system of its support from the state budget and shows how it is possible to measure the efficiency of this support. The practical part deals with the trends in registration of new and used passenger cars in the Czech Republic in the years 2004-2016, which reveals with the help of time series analysis. The thesis also predicts future development of these registrations. Furthermore, in the practical part, the fiscal efficiency of investment incentives provided to large automotive industry projects in recent years is determined.
Optimalizace výrobního plánování ve vybraném podniku
Machařová, Zuzana
Machařová, Z., Optimization of production planning in the selected company. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2017. The bachelor thesis deals with the optimization of production planning with the aim of minimizing the number of production line configurations. The aim of the thesis is to design a production plan that maximizes the number of products of the same type that can be produced in succession. The forecast of demand for individual products is compiled using time series. This prediction, together with restrictive production criteria, is used to build a production plan.
Analýza finanční stability vybraného dřevařského podniku
Válek, Michal
The thesis deals with the financial situation of the company KRONOSPAN CR, spol. s r.o. The company KRONOSPAN CR is part of an international group of Kronospan, which is the largest worldwide manufacturer of large-sized materials. Using basic methods of financial analysis, publicly available financial statements of the company for the years 2010 to 2014 are discussed, to get an idea of the overall financial situation of the company. Based on the results are then designed the tools and techniques for improving financial management.
