Cantatas in the Schwarzenberg Music Collection of the State Regional Archive in Český Krumlov

The diploma thesis deals with cantatas from the end of the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century from the collection of Arnošt of Schwarzenberg, which are stored in the state archives in Český Krumlov. It is about two dozen compositions, most of which come from the estate of the music-loving prince Ernst of Schwarzenberg (1773-1821). The lyrics of most compositions are German, exceptionally some of them have French or Italian texts. Part of the work is a search performed in the state archive, the description of the collection and its breakdown from the aspect of con-tent and functionality and in terms of origin. Special attention is paid to the cantatas by Czech composers Vojtěch Jírovec, Leopold Koželuh and Pavel Mašek that are analyzed in more detail. Into the edition, also the first two parts of cantata Entjo-chung Deutschlands by Pavel Mašek, which is related to the personality of Karel of Schwarzenberg (1771-1820), were included.
How a Gypsy child can speak Gypsy

This thesis finds out Gypsy children{\crq}s knowledge of the Gypsy language in Český Krumlov. The theoretical part briefly covers the origin of the Gypsies, the history of the Gypsies in our territory, and the Gypsy language and its specifics. The coexistence of the Gypsies and the major society in Český Krumlov is emphasized in the thesis. The practical part presents the outcomes of a research which asked about the extent of Gypsy children{\crq}s knowledge of the Gypsy language. Further, the outcomes are compared with professional literature which deals with Gypsy children{\crq}s education and their knowledge of the Gypsy language. The practical part also includes information about children{\crq}s understanding the difference between two Czech words, both calling the Gypsy language, ``romština{\crqq} (a correct, neutral term) and ``cikánština{\crqq} (a common spoken term, sometimes evoking negative connotations).
Proposal Possibilities of Touristic Deconcentration - A Case Study of District Český Krumlov.

4 ABSTRACT The aim of this thesis is to draw attention to the process of concentration in tourism.Various locations within the monitored area have different potential for tourism. This aspect leads to a concentration of tourists and services to certain centers. In the area of interest there are two attractive location for a tourist city of Český Krumlov and Lipno dam. These two sites are the frequently visited places, both in southern Bohemia and in the whole Czech Republic. However, the area has a hide potential for the development of alternative forms od tourism. The intent of this thesis is based on the available data and information to evaluate the process of concentration of tourism in the case of Český Krumlov district and propose appropriate tools to deconcentration of tourism and the use of peripheral sites. 5 Abstract: The bachelor thesis focuses on subject of photography and its relationship with society. This work attempts to the micro-historical probe to the cultural and social history of Český Krumlov in the years 1890 - 1950. As the main sources uses archive of Museum Photostudio Seidel (photographs, accountant books, customer books, diaries). In interaction with other sources (registers, statistics from the census, records of professional and business association) follows up as photograph reflects social status of customers and what it reveals about theirs relationship with this medium and to the actual act of photography. The work is based on analysis and comparison of sources based on inspiration from the professional literature on photography (Jaroslav Anděl, Pierre Bourdieu, Roland Barthes). Partially it touches problems of photo such as possible sources of historiographical knowledge. Opportunities of development of specific type of tourism in selected destination

This bachelor thesis analyses the opportunities of the development of specific type of tourism in a selected destination. As a specific type of tourism there is selected Dark tourism and as a destination the district called Českokrumlovsko. This bachelor thesis explains the term Dark tourism, its forms and possible motives of its tourists. Furthermore, it describes places which can be marked as a dark one in the Czech Republic and then in the district of Českokrumlovsko, exactly in the town Český Krumlov where the research is carried out. For this research there is selected a short questionnaire which shows the knowledge about Dark tourism, its potential in Českokrumlovsko and the opportunity of its growth in there. Based on the outcome of the results from the research, this bachelor thesis suggests 3 tools of marketing mix as a product, a place, a price and a promotion.
The History of Physical Education and Sport in Český Krumlov

This thesis deals with the history and the current situation in physical education and sport in Český Krumlov. Above all, it focuses on the development of individual sports societies and the course of their activities from their beginnings to the present. The development of sport in the chosen area is divided into particular phases, according to important milestones of the historical development of our country. The thesis is devoted to all the important sports in Český Krumlov. Sports associations are chronologically classified into individual phases according to their origin in the first two chapters. The other two chapters classify individual sectors according to their importance in the city. The first period starts at the beginning of organized sporting activities in the city, known from preserved materials and is dated up until 1918, that is, until the end of the First World War. The second period takes place during the interwar period, until the end of the Second World War. The third period begins in 1945 and ends in the revolutionary year of 1989. The last fourth period is devoted to the latest sporting history from 1989 to the present. The oldest information was drawn from the preserved chronicles, archive sources of individual sports associations, literature, and the period novels. Information from the third and fourth periods are complemented by interesting facts from interviews with witnesses to the establishment of physical education sections and particular sporting events.
Murder cases documented in the town of Cesky Krumlov during the second half of the 16th and in the 17th centuries

The presented B.A. thesis aims to analyze murder cases documented in the town of Cesky Krumlov during the second half of the 16th and in the 17th centuries. The focus of the work lies on the study of murders, while several identified perpetrators are also examined. Following these individual cases, the difference between normative and actual punishment of crime, the mindset of the participants and their defense strategies are analyzed. Furthermore, the functioning of the town's legal apparatus is examined.
Attitude of residents in Cesky Krumlov towards socio - cultural impacts of tourism

This study aims to identify the perceived socio - cultural impacts of tourism by residents in the city Cesky Krumlov. Based on data from questionnaire survey five main spheres (factors) within socio - cultural impacts were named with reference to the social exchange theory according residents' positive or negative perception during interaction with tourism. According the average answer in each sphere, the cluster analysis produced four types of typology of final attitude - the Advocates, Skeptics, Environmentally Concerned and Not decided. After identification all attitudes, two main problematic spheres were named - socio-cultural and social status as they are seen as the most negative ones. This fact was supported by accompanied survey of businesses and companies structure in the city center, where the results show lack of businesses for residents.
Short Church Compositions of Georg Reutter in the Music Collection of the State Regional Archive in Český Krumlov.

This bachelor thesis deals with tiny vocal and instrumental pieces of the Viennese composer Georg Reutter (1708-1772) that are stored in the state archive in Český Krumlov. Reutter was the chapelmaster of the St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna du-ring the reign of Empress Maria Theresia. His compositions are found in different locations in Bohemia, in Český Krumlov, except for the castle collections also on the choir of the St. Vitus church. Parts of my work are formed by the research carried out in the state archive, by the selection of pieces chosen for their processing and by the compilation of the scores according to preserved individual voices. It includes also the edition in a digital form, description of the compositions and a critical report. The whole work is summarized in the conclusion that recapitulates the obtained findings.
