Rhymes in the Late Poetry of Oldřich Mikulášek
Dokoupil, Kryštof ; Holý, Jiří (advisor) ; Trávníček, Jiří (referee)
Rhymes in the Late Poetry of Oldřich Mikulášek Abstract The thesis consists of four main parts. The first one - or more precisely the Introduction - treats above all the effect of marked phonic repetition in poetry, and particularly solves the exceptionality of a rhyme. Then, the way that Mikulášek developed the rhyme is shown, namely for instance a rhyme bridge. Furthermore, the material for analysis is determined in function of the last six Mikulášek's collections of poems created since 1971. The method for description of whole examined material emphasises the final rhyme as well as the quantity of rhymes in a poem. The second part proves, based on the research, that the rhyme bridge constitutes an intentional component of Mikulášek's poems. Shortness and big number of rhymed verses are characteristic for the poems raised during this period. The third part - the core of the thesis - contains 15 interpretations of typical and atypical poems, chosen as a representative sample of Mikulášek's late work. The final part summarizes the approaches of other scholars to Mikulášek's work, especially to his late collections, and confronts them with the results of this thesis. Unlike many literary critics having studied Mikulášek's poetry, the thesis reveals - based on the interpretations of the poems presented - the...

Childbirth in pre-hospital care
ZELINKOVÁ, Sára
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of childbirth in pre-hospital care. The bachelor thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is dedicated to four main topics - individual periods of childbirth, evaluation of a newborn with APGAR score, selected complications during childbirth and its guidance. Under the umbrella term of childbirth in pre-hospital care belong making decisions about transport during imminent childbirth, guidance of the said condition in pre-hospital care and resuscitation of a newborn and a pregnant woman. Two goals were given for this bachelor thesis. The first goal was to find out how paramedics perceive the guidance of childbirth outside hospital facilities. The second goal was to research how paramedics are prepared for the guidance of the condition mentioned above. The empirical part of the bachelor thesis has been done by a qualitative research survey in the form of a semi-structured interview. The research file consisted of 12 paramedics from the South Bohemian Region and the Pilsen Region, who had already been present during a childbirth outside a hospital facility. The research was going on from January to March 2022 and the participation was completely voluntary. The acquired data was then analysed, coded and divided into categories and subcategories. In the research part two research questions were stated. The first question was supposed to find out how paramedics perceive the guidance of a childbirth in prehospital care. The research results showed that every questioned paramedic, except interviewed paramedics I5 and I6, is nervous when going to a prehospital childbirth. The nervosity is caused by the knowledge of possible complications. The second question was about the preparation of paramedics for childbirth guidance. The results of the research showed that there are big differences in the way, frequency and content of the medical training. Many paramedics would like to have a shorter interval between trainings and some would appreciate an opportunity to practice in the delivery rooms. From the research results it is clear that many paramedics do not agree with home deliveries because of many possible complications and risks. This bachelor thesis highlights the options of improvement of the education of paramedics and its realisation. The interviewed paramedics emphasised more frequent trainings of childbirth and participating in practices in delivery rooms. The results of this bachelor thesis could be presented in conferences and could be used to present the opinions of paramedics to their trainers and chief medical officers.
Analysis of bank charges
Ozimy, Matej ; Radová, Jarmila (advisor) ; Fleischmann, Luboš (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of bank charges of current and student accounts in specific banks in the Czech Republic for the year 2017. The first part of my paper deals with the inception and development of bank charges in the Czech Republic. I have also conducted a brief categorization of bank charges into individual segments, linking them either to a particular service or product, specifying their rates, which indicate the market developments. The main objective of my thesis was to find the most suitable bank in terms of bank charges (client expenses associated with account management and other services) and also in terms of the return on current accounts (ie. savings accounts) and student bank accounts to identify the best client account.

Comparison of chosen nursing in prevention of immobility syndrome in a senior nursing home in Germany and the Czech Republic for lying immobile patients.
ČERNÁ, Lucie
As the population is getting older there is increased number of geriatric patients. However there is also increased number of immobile seniors, who are not able to take care of themselves. Comprehensive health and social security is being provided in homes for elderly, which fulfil the role of long-term institutional care. Nurses must be trained for this highly professional and knowledgeable nursing care aimed at geriatric problems. For geriatric clients of home for elderly it´s important realization of prevention, treatment and social measures in the form of an individual approach. That these measures can be implemented it is necessary to evaluate the health status of seniors, their physical performance, self-sufficiency and mental functions in connection with the social situation and to formulate a nursing diagnosis. As a result of long-term bed rest can lead to health complications affecting all body systems, so-called immobilization syndrome. How to prevent secondary damage that threatens the patients White Theo arge already ill is focused rehabilitation nursing. Among rehabilitation resources in the prevention of immobilization syndrome in nursing practice arge included: positioning, verticalization, mobilization. Inseparable part of prevention measures is preventing health complications in case of immobile clients homes for the elderly arge suitably selected positioning aids, mobilizing resources, well-equipped bed with antidekubitus system. In the thesis there were two objectives. To Compare keeping preventive measures which prevent the formation of pressure ulcers and muscle contractures in nursing care for immobile patients in the Czech and German retirement homes. To map out the possibilities of aids in the prevention of complications in immobile clients in the Czech and German retirement homes. Bachelor thesis has been made by using qualitative research. For collection of data was used a method in-depth interviews with four Czech and four German nurses. This method involved non-standardized interviews through open-ended questions that were recorded by dictaphone and transcribed verbatim. The data analysis was carried out by hand coding or using a pencil and paper. By analyzing the data four categories were created, each divided into the home for the elderly in the Czech Republic and the home for the elderly in Germany: 1.Nurses knowledge ,2.Implementation of preventive measures , 3.Equipment for immobile clients, 4.General knowledge related to immobile clients. Research survey found out that there is not a big difference in adherence to preventive measures to prevent the formation of decubitus and muscle contractures in nursing care for immobile patients in Czech and German homes for the elderly and comparable are also the possibilities of using tools to prevent complications in case of immobile clients. The biggest gap in nursing care for clients is bad knowledge of contractures in both homes for the elderly. Also keeping documentation and records relevant to the implementation of preventive measures in the Czech home for the elderly is not satisfactory. Mobilization record is missing and positioning record should be more detailed. We therefore propose the creation of positioning and mobilization recording modeled according to the German retirement home and handing it to the leadership of retirement home in the Czech.

The Utilisation of the Feldenkrais Method in patients with backache without radicular irritation
HOUSKOVÁ, Marcela
I chose the topic The Utilisation of the Feldenkrais Method in patients with backache without radicular irritation for my bachelor thesis. The method bears the name of its author Moshé Feldenkrais, who started to develop his conception after his own injury during the Second World War. Feldenkrais Method of somatic education is an approach employing the process of learning by means of movement. It is based on presumption that a human being has four basic constituents: feelings, thinking, sensual perception and movement, which are present to each human action, and which interact with one another, which results in the fact that influencing of one constituent causes changes in the others. The method has two basic approaches: group lessons Awareness Through Movement and Functional Integration. Backaches are now classified among so called ?civilisation diseases?, which is mostly given by today?s life style ? sedentary jobs, stress, lack of movement, which lead to numerous improper stereotypes leading later to pain occurrence. The spine and back in general, which are the most loaded parts in terms of posture maintenance against gravity are usually the first to be affected by chronic pain. Back pains are said to be the most frequent cause of inability to work. The thesis is structured in two parts. The theoretical part mainly deals with the Feldenkrais Method. At the beginning I introduce the author by his brief biography explaining the process of the conception development. Then I describe the principles and basic elements of the method like self-awareness, somatognosia, organic learning. Chapters containing indications and contraindications, possibilities and course of education in the field of Feldenkrais Method follow. The next part informs on two basic teaching methods, which are a group form ?Awareness Through Movement? and individual ?Functional Integration?, where I compare the first one with conventional exercises and the latter with classic manual techniques. In the last part dedicated to the Feldenkrais Method I am trying to outline the possibilities of applying Feldenkrais Method to chronic pain treatment. The following chapter of the theoretical part deals with the phenomenon of pain. In the last part I summarize the most frequent causes and consequences of backache and their schematic categorisation. The practical part contains the goals of the thesis, methodology description, research sample characteristic and the research results processed in the form of case studies. Quantitative research method was chosen for data collection and processing. Two patients with pains in cervical, respective lumbar spine were chosen. Anamnesis was taken from the patients and basic physiotherapeutic examination, which is recorded in the input and output kinesiological analyses, was performed. The research results aren´t so significant because of small testing group, but in my opinion the Feldenkrais Method might become a part of therapy for chronic pain treatment, as both the patients subjectively perceived improvement after the exercises, which is also obvious from objective examination recorded in the output kinesiological analysis. The fact that the research was based on just a small sample of probands however does not enable us to generalize the results. Remarkable improvement of perception and awareness of own body and work with it occurred in both the women, which was obvious on improved breath stereotype and mastering of localized breathing, which had been a big problem for both the patients before. Another improvement was in higher spine movement and particularly reduction of backache in both the patients. Improvement of psychical condition is surely another indicator of the method effectiveness.
Nursing care for pacients with heart transplantation.
VINKLEROVÁ, Petra
The bachelor thesis focuses on the issues of nursing care of patients with heart transplantation. The first heart transplantation in the Czech Republic was performed in IKEM, Prague in 1984. There are seven transplantation centres in the Czech Republic, but only those in Prague and Brno perform heart transplantation. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part, while the theoretical part also deals with the anatomy, history and characteristics of transplantation. Heart transplantation is performed on patients with heart disease at the stage of terminal heart collapse. A recipient has to meet some conditions for the transplantation. He/she has to be added to a register on the waiting list, must have the same blood group as the donor, similar weight and be less than fifty five years old. A suitable donor is necessary. Another condition is that all the conditions of Act No. 285/2002 Col. as amended have to be met. The fact that the donor is not in the national register of persons not agreeing with post mortem organs or tissues donation has to be excluded and his/her identification has to be confirmed. Before a patient is added to the waiting list he/she undergoes detailed examination to determine the urgency of addition to the waiting list. As transplantation is considered an acute surgical intervention the recipient only undergoes an immediate body preparation before the operation when a suitable donor is found. The theoretical part then describes heart removal from the donor, the operation procedure and heart transplantation techniques. There are three heart removal techniques nowadays. The biggest attention is paid to postoperative care. It includes endomyocardial biopsy, which is done in regular intervals, control visits and administration of immunosuppressive drugs. Post transplantation complications that might occur in early or later postoperative period are also dealt with there. Postoperative care also includes education in postoperative regimen. The main goal of the thesis was to map the specifics of nursing care of patients after heart transplantation both before and after operation. A partial goal was to find out in what way patients are given information on postoperative regimen after heart transplantation. The thesis also endeavours to determine the difference between nursing care provided to patients after heart transplantation and after cardiac surgical operation. The empiric part of the thesis involved qualitative research, for which research questions had been set. The research sample consisted of seven nurses. Four nurses were from the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine in Prague and three from cardiac surgery department of the České Budějovice Hospital. The research had the form of non-standardized interview at a nurse daily room and one in domestic environment. The results are based on the interviews and were processed by means of categorized groups. The results show that nursing care of patients after heart transplantation does not differ from that of patients after cardiac surgery operation. There are differences between examinations of patients before heart transplantation. We may see them in the most important preoperative examinations. They include special taking of antibodies as they define the intensity of administered immunosuppressive medication. The difference in postoperative care is in regular medical checkups. There are big differences in social contacts between patients and their environment. Provision of detailed information to the patient is an important part of the nursing care. Information should be provided during both preoperative and postoperative care. The other spheres are identical. The thesis should be beneficial for nurses caring of patients after heart transplantation, but also for those who are deciding whether to undertake heart transplantation or are more closely interested in the problems of heart transplantation.
The change in the drug scene of the Czech Republic after it adopted the Schengen Agreement
MIKEŠOVÁ, Kristýna
The Bachelor´s thesis named "The change of the drug scene in the Czech Republic after entering the Schengen area" is a theoretical work regarding the drug criminal acitvities. The first part is dedicated to clarification of terms, structuring the criminal activities connected with drugs, national minorities in the Czech Republic which are involved in this criminal activities and transport ways for drug smuggling. Then there follow the sub-chapters about the represive authorities of the Czech Republic, European Union and in more details about the Schengen area. The last topic of the first chapter is concentrated on important organizations acting in the fight against drugs. The aim of this thesis was to bring this isme closer to readers in the most easy way, that is why the neccessary quotation from the law is done from secondary literature quite often, and that is easier for understanding. The aim of this thesis is to find out how much the drug scene have changed in the Czech Republic during the four years of membership in the Schengen Agreement. The analysis was done for 8 years, that is for four years before the enter and for four years after the enter into the Schengen area. I concentrated on finding out which kinds of drugs are now appearing at the black market of the Czech Republic, which national minorities are involved the most into the drug criminal activities in the territory of the Czech Republic and on how much the number of arrested foreigners rose in connection with drug criminal activities in comparison with the previous four years period. The analysis was done on the basis of the annual reports of the National Anti-drug Unit of the Czech Police. These annual reports contain also the results of the Customs Administration, Customs Drug Enforcement Unit, and thanks to this fact the analysed sample is relevant. Thanks to the analysis there was found an extrem growth of the number of foreign offenders - their number doubled in comparison with the period before entering the Schengen area. The biggest number of arrested foreign offenders are of Vietnamese and Slovakian nationality. The most surprising result was the growth of number of arrested offenders of Nigerian nationality. Also in the field of seized drugs there has been a change. While in the case of extasy the seized amount rapidly lowered, the cannabis and metamphetamine (pervitin in Czech) rapidly rose. The other analysed drugs are keeping the same place on the territory of the Czech Republic and the difference of individual years in the seized amount is not high. The issue of drug criminal activities commited by foreigners is more and more live and current topic. The issue of the drug kriminality commited by the foreigners is more and more achal topis and the entrance into the Schengen area has a big influence on increasing amonut of foreigners in the Czech Republic. Apart from that another important feature is in the growth of number of foreigners in the Czech Republic also the asylum politics of the state. It is possible to use this thesis as the source of information for broad lay public or for the purpose of education and training.
