In the basement There are storage rooms for each of the flats and technological utilities. All of the designed flats will be provided with a balcony. There are two parking lots designed to the site. The design conditions were to save as much green areas at the site as possible and the that the design should not disturb it’s surroundings. Thus the complex was designed into the shape of the letter “L”; the building is designed in a way that it could also attract younger residents. The northern building of the two buildings has also services for the residents of the building included in it. In the first floor there are spaces for the hairdressers; The goal of the bachelor’s thesis in to design a low-rise residential building in Brno Řečkovice. The project is a continuation of a Design Studio Work that was made in the winter semester of the second year of bachelors’ degree. The building site is placed at a blank space at the Terezy Novákové Street. The blank space is divided into two sectors. In the front sector there are two previously designed buildings house with a hall and a house with a library. There is a road that goes through this sector that joins our sector with the main road – Terezy Novákové Street. The whole site can be ridden through. The end of this road leads to Družstevní Street. There will be our four-storey residential complex placed in the back sector of the blank space. The designed complex is made of two separate building that are placed in the shape of the letter “L”. The building has two types of flats 1.kk and 2.kk. The living conditions are mostly meant for elderly people. However; this way it was assured that the green spaces will be maximized. The buildings themselves are clean white boxes. The facades are provided with big aluminium windows with slight stainless steel fencing and wood. The designed buildings have green roofs.
