Case Study of a Replacement Hemiarthroplasty due to a Periprosthetic Hip Fracture

Title: Case study of a replacement hemiarthroplasty due to a periprosthetic hip fracture. Thesis aim: Application of comprehensive theoretical findings of a replacement hemiarthroplasty due to a periprosthetic femoral fracture, and the application of practical knowledge related to this type of diagnosis with physiotherapeutic rehabilitation care. Clinical findings: A 53 years old male patient after a replacement hemiarthroplasty of the left leg due to a periprosthetic femoral fracture. The left has edema of the upper thigh, knee, and foot. There is a reduced ROM at the hip joint in active flexion and abduction, at the left knee joint in both active and passive flexion. The left lower extremity has a general decrease in muscle strength with atrophy of the gluteus maximus and quadriceps muscles. The patient also displays a weak deep stabilising system and abdominal wall. Methods: Each therapy took place in the Rehabilitation Center at Fakultní nemocnice Královské Vinohrady in Prague. During his therapy sessions, I used the techniques I have learned from UK FTVS such as PIR by Lewit, PNF by Kabat, STT by Lewit, passive stretch, joint mobilisation by Lewit, therapeutic exercises, DNS by Kolár, and several other techniques. Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient after Hemorrhagic Stroke with Left-Sided Hemiparesis.

Title: Case study of the physiotherapy treatment of a pacient after hemorrhagic stroke with left-sided hemiparesis. Objectives: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to summarize a theoretical information about stroke and to process the case report of the pacient after hemorrhagic stroke with left - sided hemiparesis. Summary: The bachelor thesis is about hemorrhagic stroke and contains two parts. The theoretical part deals with the informations about stroke. The second special part is about a case study of the physiotherapy care of the pacient after hemorrhagic stroke with left - sided hemiparesis, which I worked with during the clinical practise in Fakultní nemocnice Královské Vinohrady in the term from 24.1.2022 to 3.2. 2022. Postural Therapy for Defective Body Posture.

Název: Terapie postury u vadného drženi těla Therapy ofdefektiv body posture Cfte práee: cilem práce je určit vhodnější přistup v terapii vadného drženi těla mezi lokálním vyrovnáváním svalové dysbalance a celkovou korekcí postury. Dále vytvořit test pro vnitřní potřebu rehabilitačního ústavu pro hodnocení postury. Metoda: práce je pojatajako meziskupinový jednofaktorový pokus se sledováním změn vjednotlivých skupinách s využitím metody pozorováni k vyhodnocení změn v držení těla. Dále metody testování postury v průběhu celé terapie a porovnávání výsledků jednotlivých vyšetření. Výsledky: výsledky podle sestaveného testu prokázaly lepší výsledky skupiny s celostním přístupem v terapii. Závislost bolesti na typu terapie se nepodaiilo prokázat, neboť změny bolesti v obou skupinách se pohybovali ve stejných rozmezích KHčová slova: Postura, vadné drženi těla, testování 2

Title: The case study of a physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after reoperation of a total hip replacement. Objective: The aim of this bachelor's thesis was a comprehensive elaboration and summary of theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to physiotherapeutic care after reoperation of a total hip replacement. Method: The bachelor thesis consists of two main parts - general and special. The first, general part, contains knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology of the hip joint. It contains a chapter on coxarthrosis, its etiology and possibilities of its treatment. It also describes the various types og hip implants, the most commonly used surgical approches, indications, contraindicatios and complications of the surgery. It also includes a description of the cource of preoperative rehabilatition, early rehabilitation after surgery and subsequent medial rehabilitation. The second, special part, contains a case study of a patient after reoperatin of a total hip replacement, the course of treatment and evaulation of the effect of therapy. Results: The goals of the short - term therapeutic plan were fullfilled.
