Biological effects of shock waves generated by multichannel discharge
Zeman, Jan ; Beneš, Jiří (advisor) ; Šunka, Pavel (referee)
Shock waves are generally characterized by a sharp change of the pressure, which causes subsequent changes in properties of the surrounding in which it spreads. In medical applications, it is an acoustic shock wave which is used for the treatment of concrements for more than 25 years. This success naturally led to considerations about the possibility of using shock waves in other areas of medicine. One of the main directions of the research is the possibility of the damage to tumor tissue. In contrast to concrements the tumor tissue is not different from surrounding tissues by its acoustic attributes, so the normal lithotryptor is not appropriate for this application. Therefore, there has been developed a new source of shock waves, which is based on the principle of multichannel discharge on the composite anode. The experiments demonstrated the effect of the new source on the acoustically homogeneous tissue of the thigh muscle at a depth of rabbit in vivo. Then there was observed the damage to tumor tissue in vivo in rats. Finally, there was observed the damage to tumor tissue in vivo in rats in the combination with cisplatin and Photosan. It was found that the new source of shock waves can cause the damage to the acoustically homogeneous tissue in vivo in depth. It also can damage the tumor...

This thesis focuses on the design of SQL database for support Human resources management and its creation in MS SQL Server.
Information System Assessment and a Proposal for ICT Modification
Zeman, Jan ; Potměšil, Tomáš (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
This diploma thesis analyzes the information system named TDoC, which is operated at company Siemens, s.r.o., Industrial Turbomachinery, subsidiary company. The theoretical part focuses on defining the theory and history of information systems and databases, as well as on the description of the risk analysis. The aim of this work is to analyze the current state of information system, assessment of the condition, finding risks and propose measures to improve the current situation and elimination the risks.
The Use of Metohods of the Project Management in Company
Krčmář, Vít ; Zeman, Jan (referee) ; Smolíková, Lenka (advisor)
Dissertation deals with a draft of the system for monitoring and planning of attendance of promoters on the stores of the Slovakian store chain NAY, where the project management is used for securing of versatilely effective project. PEST, SWOT, RIPRAN of analysis and analysis of risks are used in this draft. It contains the plan of solution from the schematic imaging to the graphic previews and time schedule of realization. This is the real project from practice which should be realized based on this dissertation and commercially spread and innovated.
Investigation of Polyelectrolytes Interactions with Cationic Aminogroups-containing Amphiphiles
Zeman, Jan ; Běťák, Jiří (referee) ; Chytil, Martin (advisor)
The study deals with interactions of polyelectrolytes polystyrene sulfonate and hyaluronic acid with nitrogenic amphiphilic substances, represented by lysine and albumine. To study the interactions pH-metry, conductance, viscositic and turbidity measurement, DLS and reometry were used. All mixtures of different concentrations were measured and the data were compered with data obtained from measurement of samples with amphiphilic sumstances without polyelectrolytes. Observed interactions occured in the aminoacid concentrations between 0 to 20 mmoldm-3, then the PSS interaction groups were fully bonded by lysine and no more interactions were recognized. The same behaviour were observed in albumine solutions with concentration under 2 gdm-3.
Rheological study of high-molecular weight hyaluronan-protonated aminoacids interactions
Zeman, Jan ; Běťák, Jiří (referee) ; Chytil, Martin (advisor)
The study deals with interactions of hyaluronic acid with protonized amino acids Lysin and 6-aminocaproic acid. To study the interactions pH-metry, conductance measurement and reometry were used. The mixtures of hyaluronan and the aminoacids of different concentrations were measured and the data were compered with data obtained from measurement of amino acid samples in pure water. Observed interactions occured in the aminoacids concentrations between 0 to 10 mmolxdm3, then the HyA carboxylic groups were fully bonded by amino acids and no more interactions were recognized.
Development of the unemployment rate and employment in the regions of the Czech Republic during recession
Vlček, David ; Zeman, Jan (advisor) ; Musil, Petr (referee)
During recession there are often discussions about changes in the unemployment and employment. Therefore, the goal of this thesis is to evaluate the results of recession on the labour market. In this thesis the evaluation is made by analyses of the employment in the regions of the Czech Republic in selected industries and unemployment in the regions of the Czech Republic during recession, which started in the year 2008. The first chapter is dedicated to labour market and business cycle with accent on the employment and unemployment. In the second chapter selected industries and classification of economical actions are characterised. The selection of industries was made on the basis of its proportion on the total gross value added and number of employed people. Theoretical part is finished by chapter concerning time series, especially their decomposition. Analytical part regards characterisation, analyses and evaluation changes in the employment and unemployment in the Czech Republic. Analysis was made from the perspective of changes in the unemployment rate, employment rate and share of employed in selected industries in the regions of the Czech Republic during recession.
