Design of Sorting Waste Containers System

Separated waste collection is one step in the recycling process. For this purpose, containers for recycling are used. This thesis investigates the new concept of containers design towards creating an original and compact solution for cities. The final solution is a set of containers where the key idea is based on the principle of building blocks. Another innovative feature of the design solution is the possibility to choose opening configurations. It provides variability along with adapting to surrounding area. The result is a design concept hat has effectively fulfilled functional, technological, ergonomic and aesthetic needs.

Design of Upper Limb Assistive Device

This work deals with a new approach of designing ortho-prosthetic devices in terms of mechanical solution and innovative design. The work was addressed to a specific patient with congenital malformation of upper limbs called phocomelia. A custom-made compensatory aid was made on basis of personal consultations and meetings on specialized workplace; however the aid was built in a way and from parts for other kind of disability. As it turned out, the use of this equipment is associated with many complications, and therefore as a result, this solution proved as unsatisfactory. Nevertheless, thanks to this compensation aid it was possible to specify the problems, to reveal important patterns and highlight the needs for development of entirely new and unique aid designed for patients with phocomelia disability. The work is based on these findings and knowledge acquired from bibliographic search in the field of orthotics, prosthetics, assistive devices and prosthetic equipment. A complete redesign was done with the aim to eliminate all detected problems. The presented result is a unique tool for people with specific congenital disability of upper limbs, with working label 4TE.
The Lighting of Liturgic Space

The bachelor thesis deals with the lighting of aisles, chapel and space under the chior in St. John the Baptist’s church in Frýdek-Místek. The thesis has two parts. The first part focuses on whole concept of lighting, also location of lighting fixtures and its impact on the overall space effect. The second part is the design of the luminaire, respecting the specifics of the space. The luminaire is also trying to satisfy the lighting requirements established by the local parish council.
Design of city-electric bicycle

The subject of this diploma thesis is design of electric assisted city bicycle – so called pedelec. The aim was to propose a design that will meet both the requirements of clientwork and the criteria of timeless design with modern materials and technology. The result is a design which, compared to commercially available electric bikes, stands out with much better weight distribution and user comfort.The thesis is soluted by design,technical, ergonomic, psychological and economic terms. Diploma thesis has 84 pages.
Design of the Vehicle for the System of Sustainable Urban Mobility

This dissertation is a response to the negative trends in urban mobility, which led many authors to conclude on the need for a new approach to personal transport in the cities. The work has creative character, but in the conceptual level, it is taking into account the specific needs of sustainable urban mobility and build on the existing innovative transport solutions. The result of dissertation is a vehicle vision, understood as an element of urban mobility that respects the character of the zones of free movement of persons, but it is also suitable for transport over longer distances.
The Shape Study of a Tractor

Topic: futuristic tractor In my work I focused on the design of heavy tractor plow in the future between 15-20 years. The main aim was to provide a solution that would undertake the issue of adaptation to different working conditions in which the tractor is moving. Adaptivnost was therefore my main goal. Specifically, I focused on balancing the tractor with respect to the driver (cab should ideally be in the middle between the wheels and as low as possible to reduce fluctuations cab drivers are very annoying and negatively affects driving performance on the tractor) . This position is ideal for traveling, but not to work in small spaces and manipulate the front or rear aggregate when the requirements for the best visibility from the cab. Already in my sketches the main idea is evident when the tractor acts as a "compact housing", which change their length and position of the cab as required. For longer rides, such as dragging the machine back on the field, to extend the chassis cab and go down to the lowest position, thus creating an imaginary triangle (between the cabin and wheels), the lower base of the triangle is the longest and therefore the focus is what the lowest. Conversely for handling in a small space tractor chassis to "withdraw" - the smallest turning radius, while the cab driver to go and see better under the wheels, even on the front unit. As for power, and under current trends, it is considered that in the future will be the most efficient diesel-electric propulsion. Compared to existing engines will be smaller Diesel engine running at speed and deliver the ideal energy for the alternator, which converts it into electricity. energy for electric motors that are in each round. It has the advantage as an independent power to each wheel, improving acceleration, etc. As in the past, present and future, and my suggestion is having to deal with the fact that there always will be the engine, its chilling, and various other elements having a size and you can not change too much. With this fact I have worked from the beginning and to seek solutions that would be consistent with my intent. Finally, I chose the principle that the cabin extends hydraulically angle about 45 'forward and change the length distribution of wheel movement is going through the rear chassis rails. Visually, that is very closely linked to functional aspects, it is a clean and easily readable morphology. The geometrical structure allows the user to feel protected and cosy, almost immune to the outside world. The chair is made of oak wood and it fits for busy hotels, airports, offices and libraries.
