Liberec a relatively young city is compared to with the majority of urban settlements in our country but its development has been equally interesting and complicated. The onset of the industrial revolution meant a major breaking point in particular because the following gründer period has marked it most notably.The characteristic of the city is, beside a large urban fragmentation and complex disorder influenced by the local field configuration, especially the phenomenon of garden cities. Liberec with Prague, Usti nad Labem, Brno and Opava accounted for one of the centers of the second stream of culture, represented by German-speaking architects settled on our territory, which formed a natural counterpart to the architecture of the Czech majority.

Analysis of the Financial Situation of a Company Using Time Series

The bachelor thesis analyses the financial situation of the company using statistical methods of time series and regression analysis. The first chapter is focused on clarifying the elementary theory of the issue. The theoretical knowledge in the second chapter is applied to the financial statements of the company. Based on the results of the analysis there are prognoses of the future development and suggestions for improvement of the economic situation of the company.

Diploma thesis deals with the assessment of information system in Unicorn Systems a.s. and proposal for ICT modification. One part of this thesis, are theoretical assumptions that help better understand the issues of information systems. On the basis of the results of analyzes, appropriate measures will be proposed to improve of information system. The thesis includes economic evaluation for the implementation of modification proposal.

Price Elasticity of Demand and Special Discounts

This master thesis deals with the issue of special discounts. Assessments and proposals of successful special offers are based on the analysis of demand price elasticity. The key attribute of this work is the knowledge of product’s price elasticity of demand. The analysis of price elasticity of demand is based on real data. The paper is terminated with suggestions on creating and planning special discounts developed in consideration of the retailers’ specific goals.

Effect of stretching on the proper performance, joint range and prevent muscle overload football player

The bachelor thesis deals with stretching and its influence on Budweis Hellboys, American football players. As a part of this work is a development of ideal stretching plan and verification of its effectiveness. Therefore, this work maps how the stretching plan operates in terms of prevention of the low back pain and how it affects the total performance and joint range of the American football players. This is a qualitative research work and it is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical section. The theoretical part describes the nature of American football and its pitfalls of the possible injuries of players, basic and functional anatomy of the muscles. Besides that it differentiates tonic and phasic muscles and describes muscles in the pelvis and lower extremities. Furthermore, this work portrays certain types of stretching, divides stretching on dynamic and static and explains the stretching exercises in both categories. The last chapter describes the measurement methods used in the practical part of the thesis. The practical part of the thesis examines the chosen stretching plan and its possible impact on four probands. The probands are American football players. Prior to the initial measurements, they were split according to the key if they will stretch or not in order to be able to compare their results. This work describes the initial and control measurements, and determines dynamic and power performance of the players. Furthermore, by using kinesiological analysis it explains basic anamnesis, aspection, examination of tonic and phasic muscles, goniometry, anthropometry and records the perception of pain in the lumbar spine on Melzack scale. Another part of this thesis is the Discussion where the individual results are compared in order to come up with logical conclusion. After reading the discussion, the reader should be able to make his own picture and understand what effect the stretching plan has. The positive impact can be seen especially in the joint range and improvement of the probands' performance in various disciplines. The stretching plan has minimal impact on the muscle imbalance, especially in disparity of circuits of thighs and calves. Regarding to the perception of pain, any improvement did not occur, however, we can see a positive impact on the position of the lumbar spine at aspection. At the end of the thesis I explain the possible cause of the measured results. I think over possible shortcomings of this work and further exploration of the potential probands in order to achieve the most objective results. As the largest possible cause of bias I mention that American football is played at an amateur level, which means that the brobands have their jobs and other everyday load. The bachelor thesis consists of annexes with visual illustration as an addition of dynamic and static stretching, and comparison of probands during the initial and control measurements. The bachelor thesis could become a guide for American football players. It describes how the stretching plan should look like and how to best phase dynamic and static stretching. In addition, it can help to increase public interest in dynamic stretching. It can also serve future physiotherapists in practice as well as a good source for general public.

The influence of small greenkeeping mechanization on stand composition and biomass production

The main theme of this piece of work is to assess the influence of small mechanisation for maintenance of grass areas; therefore this work includes the description of grass areas as well as the overview of small mechanisation for maintenance of grass areas. Two types of mowers working on different principles of cutting were chosen to make a comparison. This work presents the results of measurement taken on 2 experimental grass areas treated by chosen types of mowers. There are results of monitoring of agrobotanical groups reported (coverage of grasses, the juncaceae, the cyperaceae, the clovers, and herbs) and coverage of grasses is graphically depicted in this work. Different results of grass coverage were statistically evaluated and compared just as the dry matter yields. Appropriate treatment of grass areas (mowing, supplementary seeding) as well as appropriate cutting system of small grass areas was recommended.

Present information level of parents concerning the vaccination possibilities

Questions arise nowadays, whether vaccination is needless or whether there are other forms of prevention that could replace mandatory vaccination. At the same time, people undergo vaccination out of obligation and do not seek further information. On the other hand, public awareness on vaccination is rising thanks to well-known vaccination against {\dots} or {\dots} This bachelor thesis on general awareness of vaccination describes present situation in České Budějovice and Litvinovice with emphasis on mothers aged 20 to 50. Quantitative analysis served as the research method with questionnaires used as the data-collection technique. Questionnaires were placed in offices of practitioners, local Hygiene station, local municipalities and in kindergartens. The objective was to ascertain the level of awareness of vaccination in the country and in a city, namely in Litvínovice and in České Budějovice, respectively. Differences between the country and a city as well as effect of education were studied, too. My research confirmed the hypothesis of people in the country refuse to get a vaccination less frequently and do not seek to make vaccination optional, whereas people who live in cities disapprove of vaccination more often and stand out for abolition of mandatory vaccination more often. Furthermore, mothers with higher education tend to seek alternatives to vaccination as for prevention. This thesis proved that mothers are often poorly informed or their knowledge on this topic is incomplete. Parents are not aware of possibilities of financing vaccination by public health insurance. I would recommend more information brochures and more detailed coverage of this topic in media. This thesis will be directly used by medical personnel in terms of creating an information leaflet, which would answer questions raised by my research, and by public health insurance companies, who will be made improve their information and education policy on vaccination refunds .
