Mapping small sacred architecture in the northern Pilsen region

This work deals with small sacral architecture in the selected region of northern Pilsen and specifically around the village Unesov. Small sacral architecture in this area are mainly crosses, chapels, statues and Calvary. The aim of this work is a detailed study of small sacred architecture in selected areas in terms of natural and historical contexts. The search part is devoted to the essential characteristics of small religious monuments and historical maps on display. Part of the research is devoted to sights not religious origins. The key outcome of this work is small monuments catalog with detailed documentation of each object and using the ArcGIS geodatabase created.
The destruction of mozaic of agricultural landscape - study area Dolnohbitsko

The thesis deals with the development of the agricultural area of the region of Dolní Hbity. On the basis of historical data, it analyses the area from the time of the first information about the village in the 12th century until vast destructive intervention in the landscape which mainly occurred in the 1970's and 1980's. The thesis also investigates the influence of the intervention on the condition of soil.
Small sacral monuments in Plánsko region

Bachelor thesis aims to map the occurrence and status of small sacred architecture in Plánsko region (Tachovsko), with a focus on the local association KOS´s (Cultural and Beautification Committee) long-term project Adopce nablízko whose actions helped by maintain and repair these monuments, replenishing face our landscapes, which is an important element testifying a lot about the history of the area. Chapter devoted directly to a selected region will be precede the textual analysis sections about history and value of a small sacred architecture in general. Also the reflection on Czech nation´s relation to religion and possible reasons of the attitude and perception on the small sacred architecture which can be called an alienation leading to the gradual decay of these monuments and finally a chapter dedicated to general theme of landscape, landscape notion and understanding of this area in terms of disciplines and authors dealing with this issue.
Evaluation plan of common facilities implemented within the land consolidation project in Nova Ves u Kdyně cadaster

The aim of this thesis is to characterize landscaping focusing on the pitfalls that can accompany this process. The first part of the work is focused primarily on the characteristics of land consolidation, their importance, objectives and their forms. For a better idea of land consolidation at present, but in the past, the thesis is supplemented by a history of landscaping. The next section describes how to work on the land consolidation plan and funding for the complete picture. The literature search is finished land consolidation abroad. The output and the analytical part of the thesis is to study cadaster ofNová Ves u Kdyně, in which elements of the plan are put to public facilities. This analysis is complemented by a comprehensive landscaping assessment for users and residents of the cadastralarea.
History of landscape development in Nová Ves I. and its utilization for Land Consolidation

The thesis deals with landscape development in Nová Ves I. The historical development of landscape was based on the evaluation of three maps from different times. The chosen ones were Stable cadastral map (1841), an ortophotomap from 1950´s (1954) and a recent ortophoto map (2015). The first part of the thesis is dedicated to literary research, which is focused on demarcation of related issues. The second part is focused on data processing and analysis. Maps were processed by ArcGIS 10.2 software. Raster data were manually vectorised according to the chosen categories of landscape utilization. The maps of landscape utilization during the times are providing important information about landscape development, mostly in past 170 years. At the end, the results derived from the analysis are put into context with the overall objectives of land consolidation. That show us the possible benefits of land consolidation in area of interest.
The impact potential of construction lookout tower on the hill Oškobrh on the landscape

Institute of landscape character was anchored in Czech legislation in 1992 as part of Act No. 114/1992 Coll., On nature and landscape protection. The concept of landscape character under that law includes not only natural, cultural and historical values that create a unique landscape character, but and visual aspects of landscape scenes that show the visual attractiveness. Thus it becomes a complex and unique tool for conservation landscape. At present, while is protecting the landscape often discussed topic, as a result of increasing building pressures on Czech countryside. This work deals with the case (current) assessment landscape. On the basis of the methodical process of assessment of proposed construction, activity or land use changes on the landscape character (Vorel et al. 2004) within the meaning of the Act no. 114/1992 Coll., On nature and landscape protection, I tried to expert approach determine the impact of potential construction lookout tower on the hill of Oškobrh on the landscape character.
The organic farming in a study region of the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of ecological agriculture. The first part of the thesis introduces the topic and explains the basic terms of ecological farming. It is also focused on the development of ecological agriculture in the Czech Republic and in Europe. The basic principles, legislation and general labelling of organic food is also describes in there. The second part of the thesis deals with the ecological agriculture in selected region of the Czech Republic. The region has been analysed based on the structure of agricultural land resources and as well as the structure of farms. The questionnaire survey has been used and provided to certain eco-farmers. The data, about the structure of cultivated plants and animal husbandry, their production and sales, costs of eco-farming and the economic situation of farms in general, has been collected and processed. In the final part of the thesis, the fundamental problems, which eco-farmers have to face, are mentioned, and the possible solutions are suggested.
Farmland valuation methods

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the problems related to farmland valuation in Czech Republic with emphasis on the valuation methods. This thesis gives a complex view on this topic. The first part of this thesis contains introduction to basic terminology that is needed for understanding the problematics of farmland valuation. The main part of the first section consists of detailed analysis of valuation methods that are suitable for valuation of farmlands in Czech Republic. There are also described factors affecting the prices of farmlands and there is also described the price analysis of farmlands in Czech Republic and few selected European countries, with their comparison included. Discussion of this topic includes the analysis of farmland market mechanisms, so that the price analysis will be set in context. The second part of the thesis contains detailed analysis of study areas. Based on the acquired results and findings from the first part of the thesis, price or value calculations of selected lands were performed. Third part of the thesis evaluates the possibility of creation of a tool that can be used for calculation of lands price or value in the ArcGIS environment. This section draws from theoretical findings mentioned in the thesis. Discussion of possible calculation automatization is included as well. Notable contribution of the thesis is comprehensive view on the farmland valuation. Another contribution is price and value calculation of selected lands in study areas and the discussion of possible automatization of the calculation in the ArcGIS environment. The results of the thesis may be useful as e.g. comprehensive material for basic introduction to the problematics of farmland valuation.
Impacts of geocaching on the landscape

This Bachelor thesis deals with geocaching and its consequences, which leaves on the landscape. This work seeks to determine whether geocaching as an ever-growing and relatively young game entails positive and negative consequences and that these consequences prevail. The literary research describe the fundamental aspects of geocaching and characterization and description of the landscape as authors which deals with this, interpret this theme I describe ensure positive and negative impacts, which mainly i draw from own experience with this game. I describes the establishment of its own cache, relating to the findings of the impact on the surrounding landscape. I refer to the cache, which are located in the countryside of Středočeský kraj. The end of this thesis is to evaluate the theoretical and practical part to a specific caches.
Plan of collective equipment realized in terms of land consolidation program in the Kutná Hora study area (Central Bohemian region)

This diploma thesis focuses on the finished complex land consolidation in Kutna Hora district. It describes realized elements of the collective equipment plan in selected cadastral areas of Dobreň, Hořany, Hostovlice, Nové Dvory, Okřesaneč and Vlkaneč. The problematic of the land consolidation is described in the literal survey at the beginning of this work. The main goal of this thesis is to judge current state of the realized elements making use of documents of cadastral office in Kutna Hora and results of performed field research in the cadastral areas in question. The status of the Kutna Hora land consolidation is evaluated in this work as well. The most important contribution of this thesis is addition of the results into the publicly accessible electronic catalogue of the realized collective equipment of the land consolidation..
