Assessment of the water flow in the Odra river basin

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe and evaluate in detail the current state of the Luha river and the objects connected with it, in the interest section – river kilometer 0.000-2.853 in the cadastral area of the Jeseník nad Odrou. Part of the work is to assess the capacity of the river flow in the locality and to propose ideological measures that would increase it to the design value of the 20-year flow. The calculation of the flow rate is performed by using the 1D mathematical model HEC-RAS for selected N-year flows. On the basis of the results of the flow rate, the assessment of the capacity of the channel and the objects in the solved section, two variants of continuous river basin adjustment are proposed to improve the current state of the channel and to increase the flood protection of the neighboring area.

Potential of Social Networks for Marketing and its Effectiveness in the Virtual Environment

This diploma thesis focuses on communication phenomenon of social networks and particular attention devotes to community portal Facebook. Facebook is considered to be a new cultural environment which is perceived by its members as an important part of their life. The thesis discloses principles of Facebook's funcionality and dissects the theme of security and privacy. Theoretical base is supplemented with internet marketing, or marketing in social net surrounding, definition. Social media marketing is the main content of second, practical part of the thesis. It brings detailed information about this new kind of marketing and above all it clears up the principles of successful marketing announcement in the field of social net. The thesis includes with case studies as well, which transfers whole theoretical base into practice.

58 Název diplomové práce v anglickém jazyce: Legislation on abortion, sterilization and artificial insemination Resumé: This work deals with three areas of medical law, such as abortion, sterilization and assisted reproduction. These all three areas are characterized by a common role of women (patient) and the child to be born or not. Thesis describes the current legislation in comparison with the draft Law on specific health services, which was in November approved by the Government and now it will address to Parliament. The issue of abortion, as an intervention, which terminates pregnancy, the thesis set out the general interpretation, explanation of terminology, outlining the views of opponents and supporters of abortions and history of these treatments. It is also described current legislation and made its assessment in terms of application experience. There are pointed out the changes that will bring the new law. There is an example of case law. Subsequently, it is made an international comparison. Assessment of the Possibilities The Revitalization of a Watercourse Osoblaha – reach II

This thesis deals with examining the possibility of revitalizing the watercourse Osoblaha. It flows through the cadastral territories of municipalities Bohušov, Osoblaha and Kašnice u Bohušova. In this thesis there will be proposed a measure to increase biodiversity of the flow. The trough will be loosened in appropriate segments, oxbow lakes and ponds will be designed. Also the bank shelters for fish stock will be suggested. For slope stabilization will be used reinforcement of fresh willow fences. Impermeable shoots or disintegrating oxbow lakes will be projected in the straight sections of the flow.

Regulation of the streambed Hloučela

The thesis describes the evaluation of the present situation of the watercourse of Hloučela river, that is situated in Plumlov village. The trough is situated in the urban area on km 11,831-11,991. The capacity of the present and newly suggested trough has beed worked out using the HEC-RAS program. The thesis contains the evaluaion of the trough stability based on the calculation of non-eroding speed as well as the proposal of measures against strong silting of described area. There are another methods that could be used for soluting the trough stability described.
