Application of finite element method to solve plane problems
Langer, David ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is application of finite element method to solve planar problems of mechanical stress of machine components. The goal of the first part of the thesis is to provide the reader with an overview of commonly used FEM software and it's capabilities, both freeware and commercial solutions. Second part of the thesis deals with the usage of freeware for FEM calculations. The last part of the thesis consists of documentation to the FEM software created as a subject of this thesis. The documentation provides a detailed view of the selected type of calculation.
Analysis of response variables of bone samples in a different state of demineralization or deproteinization
Weiss, Andrej ; Man, Vojtěch (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of mechanical properties of cortical bone in a state simulating the decrease of collagenous tissue component. Sensitivity of the selected properties on deproteinization is examined. The problem was solved experimentally. Samples of porcine femur were prepared and then subjected to measurements in physiological and subsequently in deproteinized state. On the basis of performed analyses, the most significant change was found to be in the elastic modulus and damping ratio.
Modeling of thin-walled frames mechatronic systems with fillet welds and their influence on the natural frequency
Appel, Martin ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on methods of reduction degrees of freedom and their application in mechatronical system. Next part is focused on fillet welds and their modelling in Ansys Workbench software. Individual possibilities of geometry of welds are analysed by modal, static and harmonic analysis. Aim of this thesis is comparison of results of analysis for different methods of geometry of welds. Then it compare results of modal analysis in Ansys Workbench and Adams software. Finally the work deals with possibilities of exporting from Ansys Workbench to Adams, Matlab and Excel software.
Stress and deformation analysis of the stem and cup of the total replacement of the trapeziometacarpal joint
Svojanovský, Tomáš ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
The center of attention of this bachelor’s thesis is stress and deformation analysis of the total replacement of the trapeziometacarpal joint. The first part is formed by medical essence of the matter, namely from the anatomical and pathological point of view. The connecting link between literature research and analysis creates a short introduce to the finite element method. To the stress and deformation analysis itself was used the program ANSYS Workbench 14.5 based just on the finite element method. One of the purposes is to get to know this program and to learn to gain correct results. The main target is to catch and describe stress and deformation of the simplified model of a certain implant. Despite some of the simplifications, resulting values should approach to the real values. Except for the mentioned analysis, there are introduced different approaches, which could be used for the solution. There is also some comparison of advantages and disadvantages of particular approaches.
Structure modeling of mechatronic systems with spot welds and their influence on the eigen frequency
Gajdík, Michal ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis examines various types of spot welds in Ansys Workbench 13. In first chapter of this thesis are described theoretical foundations of simulation modeling. In following phase are analyzed each methods of simulation modeling. Practical part is about realizing different types of spot welds and examining their impact on clamped boards. Outputs of this thesis are modal abilities of each executed type of spot weld. On attached CD are program annex and project in Ansys Workbench 13. The goal is to analyze differently modeled spot welds, displaying primal deflections and comparison of modal abilities.
Analysis of the computational model mechatronic system design and its dynamic behavior
Merkl, Martin ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the computational model of crosspiece of a machine tool in software Ansys Workbench. Aim of this thesis was to compute dynamic characteristics of this construction, perform structural analysis and export the model to MSC Adams environment.
Comparison of engineering concepts to determine the strain-stress conditions in the notch roots in elasto plastic state
Peč, Michal ; Vlk, Miloš (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the comparison of the available computational methods for determining the strain-stress conditions in parts under uniaxial stress. The main objectives of this work were to create an overview of available methods and their analysis, creating a model in a finite-elements softwares and assessment of the problem to enable comparison with analytical calculations. The final task was to create an application that uses equations of derived methods to calculate the results, which will be used as inputs to calculate the lifetime of the component.
Deformation, stress and safety analysis of the bicycle frame.
Ondrejka, Jan ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess complience and safety of the bicycle frame with basic elasticity approach, namely by deformation and stress analysis. After model simplyfying, two different cases were made. Difference between these two were in loads aplied on the frame. Maple 12.0 softwarre was used for calculation, Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD were used for sketches. The results were checked with ANSYS Workbench.
Summary of FEM aplication on the basis Open Source
Tománek, Jiří ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
This work focuses on the summary of currently available FEM applications on the Open Source basis which are freely available on the Internet. There are three programs presented (Salome, Roshaz and Ansys) and in each of them there was an easy simple plane performed and demonstrated. In the final part, a comparison of the results and the procedures for the award plane task in the three above mentioned programs was carried out.
Creating geometrical models of selected implants of hip joint
Kohoutek, Jan ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
According to the specification, the concept of the thesis is a research study, which is supposed to present global overview of the hip joint arthroplasty. It involves a short summary of basic methods used in biomechanical measurements of bone tissue and provides a comparison among isotropic homogeneous, isotropic inhomogeneous and orthotropic inhomogeneous material models and their impact on the results of the stress-strain analyses. In the thesis, there is also a short list of popular implants used in present times as well as a few examples of creating geometrical models of some prosthesis.
