Case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient with the diagnosis of a tribal ischemic cerebrovascular accident
Krejčová, Barbara ; Pavlů, Dagmar (advisor) ; Voráčová, Helena (referee)
Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient with the diagnosis of a tribal ischemic cerebrovascular accident. Objectives: This work aims at processing the casuistry of a patient with the diagnosis of a tribal ischemic cerebrovascular accident at summarizing the theoretical knowledge about cerebrovascular accidents and subsequent rehabilitation, at suggesting a therapy, observing its progress, and at evaluating the effect of therapeutic influence on the patient's condition. Methods: I acquired the practical sources for processing this bachelor's paper during my professional practice, which took place from 6th to 31st January, 2014, at the rehabilitation in-patients' ward of Vršovická zdravotní a.s. The paper is composed of two parts - the general and the special ones. The general part of the paper deals with the theoretical knowledge about cerebrovascular accidents, their classification, possible causes of their origin, and the anatomy of the cerebrovascular system. The main theme of the general part of my bachelor's paper is about rehabilitation after a cerebral ictus. The general part was processed on the basis of expert literature mentioned on the reference list. The special part describes the patient's casuistry after a tribal ischemic cerebrovascular accident, an initial...
Case study of the physiotherapy treatment of patient with radicular syndrome S1 diagnosis
Kopecká, Barbora ; Neuwirthová, Svatava (advisor) ; Voráčová, Helena (referee)
Title: Case study of the physiotherapy treatment of patient with radicular syndrome S1 diagnosis Objectives: The aim of this thesis is a summary of the knowledge about radicular syndrome S1 especially for the needs of a physiotherapist, and their practical application presented in a case study of patient with such diagnosis. Methods: The thesis consists of two parts. General part summarizes the knowledge about radicular syndrome S1 based on the available literature. I focus on anatomical and kinesiological features, etiology and clinical picture of the disease, and further on possibilities of treatment, particularly physiotherapeutical ones. Special part is a case study of a patient with this diagnose. It covers her anamnesis and initial examination, then it describes all physiotherapeutical units undergone, and concludes with control examination and evaluation of the effect of the treatment. Keywords: radicular syndrome S1, back pain, deep stabilizing system, physiotherapy, case study
Case Study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after acute brain stroke
Pytlová, Lucie ; Maršáková, Kateřina (advisor) ; Voráčová, Helena (referee)
Title: Case Study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after acute brain stroke. Objective: To officialy to confirm the ability to work well with patiens after a stroke. To gain the needed theoretical knowledge about the given issue and to utilize the practical physiotherapeutic skills. Method: The first part of the bachelor thesis is theoretical. It describes the origin, risk factors and consequences of a stroke. Further described are typical clinical symptoms, possibilities for treatement and technical uses od physiotherapy. The thesis is also dedicated to the subluxation of the paretic arm and the neglect syndrom. The second part contains casuistry of the chosen patient after the ischemic stroke with left - handed symptomatology. Results: Improvement of the walking stereotype, reduction in the painfulness of the paretic arm, increased strength in the paretic lower arm and improvement of the exterior and deep perception. Conclusion: The use of physiotheraphy on a patient after a stroke appeared to be very important, due to partial return of damaged functions. Key word: vascular stroke, hemiparesis, painful arm, physiotherapeutic methods

Rissová, Kristýna ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Voráčová, Helena (referee)
Title: Case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with diagnosis status after bikondylar fracture of the proximal tibia Objectives: The aim of this work is processing of the case study of a patient with diagnosis condition after bikondylar fracture of the proximal tibia, a summary of theoretical konwledge, designing therapy and monitoring its process. Methods: This work was created as a research with case study during continuous professional practice held from 21. 1. 2013 to 15. 2. 2013 in Vršovická zdravotní, a. s. The work is divided into two parts - general a special. The first (general) part deals with theoretical knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology of the knee joint, includes information on fractures (their classification, possible solutions, healing and complications and the possibilities of physiotherapy procedures. The second part (special) describes case study of a patient after bikondylar fracture of the proximal tibia, the process of suggested therapy and evaluation of its effect. Keywords: knee joint, tibia, osteosynthesis, physiotherapy, traumatology, rehabilitation

Reliability of visually assessed postural stabilization tests
Cíle: Prostřednictvím dvojice zkušených a dvojice nezkušených hodnotitelů stanovit inter- a intra-rater reliabilitu u tří baterií TPS, vypracovat podrobnou popisnou statistiku a porovnat naše výsledky s literaturou. Materiál a metody: Byly vybrány tři baterie aspekčních TPS zaměřených na bederní páteř (Kolář 2006, Luomajoki et al. 2007, Tidstrand a Horneij 2009). Provedení testů bylo nezávisle hodnoceno současně dvěma zkušenými a dvěma nezkušenými hodnotiteli na smíšeném souboru zdravých osob (n = 15, 10 žen, průměrný věk 44,5 ± 11,0 let) a pacientů s vertebrogenním algickým syndromem bederní páteře bez neurologického deficitu a neurochirurgického výkonu na páteři v posledních pěti letech (n = 16, 8 žen, průměrný věk 45,9 ± 13,6 let). Hodnocení testů předcházela jejich formalizace (pozitivita jednotlivých znaků, binární hodnocení celkové pozitivity testu). Ke stanovení reliability jsme použili procentní shodu (a%) a koeficient...
