Extremal points of convex sets and applications

The thesis consists of two sections, the theoretical and the practical one. Theoretical part deals with 1. convex analysis, its important theorems including those concerning extreme points of convex sets, and also 2. mathematical solutions of fair division problems. It is shown whether and in what way are these areas related. The practical part of the work follows on results of the previous one with various exercises. Attempts have been made so as no theoretical knowledge is required to understand the formulation of the exercises.

Schillers' drama "Die Räuber" and three Czech translations by J.J. Kolár, O. Fischer and J. Stach

Tato práce se zabývá třemi překlady Schillerova dramatu Die Riiuber do českého jazyka. Krátce se zmíníme o všech existujících překladech, těžiště práce ale tvoří tři z nich - překlad Josefa Jiřího Kolára z roku 1866, Otakara Fischera z roku 1916 a Jiřího Stacha z roku 1976. Diplomová prá.::c sestává ze tří h!avních částí. První čá3t prá.::c se věniljc uno.lýz.:: originálu, která zohledňuje vznik textu, charakteristiku děje a hlavních postav, poetiku textu a jeho recepci v německém a českém prostředí. Druhá část se zabývá teoretickými otázkami překladu dramatického díla. Východisko tvoří práce Jiřího Veltruského, Jiřího Levého a Antona Popoviče. Poslední část se zabývá kritickým srovnáním překladů J. J. Kolára. O. Fischera aJ. Stacha. Nejdříve jsou všichni překladatelé představeni a posléze je provedena srovnávací analýza obou textů. Translatologická analýza se zaměřuje na emocionální stránku textu, expresivně zabarvená vyjádření, obrazná spojení, veršované pasáže a převod mimojazykové reality v textu. Při analýze není brán v potaz pragmatický faktor jevištní realizace dramatu, tzn. případné rétorické nedostatky českých překladů. Empirická část práce také zmiňuje překladatelské postupy překladatelů a jejich volbu jazykových prostředků. Na základě analýzy, která obsahuje mnoho textových dokladů, jsou shrnuty...

Architecture in the dorsal venous system of fingers in relation to replantation

Aim 1. In the experimental section to supplement and clarify the topographic anatomy of the venous finger, especially tran and lumen of blood vessels in different anatomic levels, including microscopic and histological verification finger vein system. 2. In clinical practice, develop a methodology to giving adequate venous drainage during revascularization and replantation of the finger parts in different levels depending on anatomy blood supply so that the result was easier to determine strategy operating procedures and increase the success of the performance. 3. Check a functional state of venous anastomoses after finger at different time intervals in correction of other performances on the fingers.

Smoking of medical staff seen as a problem

Pallová,A. Smoking of medical staff seen as a problem. My graduation work consists of two parts. In the theoretical part I focused on the problem of smoking both active and passive. Further I studied the influence of smoking on human organism and possible health risks. There is an article on current legal norms included, reflecting economical consequences of smoking. The practical part concerns smoking prevalence as such, especially smoking prevalence at work, and includes medical workers's view to smoking as to an illness and addiction. I further focused on medical workers' legislation knowledge and financial question concerning the NRT ( nicotine replacement therapy ). In this part I set out 5 working hypotheses. For confirming or refusing them I used the questionnaire research method. The sample of respondents consisted of 129 employees of the Regional Náchod Hospital a.s. employed at the Broumov hospital. The research was carried out during the month of March 2006.

Optimal Domestic Investment Portfolio Proposal

This bachelor´s thesis will be focused on the structure of investments made by two czech families. There will be also made an analysis of family income and outcome and its optimalisation. Counting will be on the base of financial mathematics. As outcome I can consider the summary of most riskful family market decisions and the proposal of its solutions where will be meant acceptable risk. The emphasis is placed on the structure of the final portfolio as well as on its dynamic devolopement in the course of time.
