Accounting Directives for Company

This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of an internal directive for a specific selected company. The work is divided into theoretical, analytical, and proposal parts. The first part presents the issue of internal policies and clarifies basic concepts that are important for the design part. In the second part of the thesis, basic information about the company is provided, and an analysis of selected indicators and evaluation of the current state of the specific internal directive of the company is carried out. In the last part, a proposal for an internal directive - a wage regulation dealing with the setting of rules for remineration system and evaluating the company's employees - is created.
Intercultural Specifics of Teamwork

This diploma thesis focuses on cooperation in international teams and the impact of cultural differences on the function of these teams. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the influence of cultural differences on team work. This work focuses on teams, their development, roles that the team members accept, team performance and their motivation. The thesis also examines culture and cultural models of Hofstede and Lewis. The attention is focused on the specifics of international teams and leadership within those teams, intercultural competency and aspects of intercultural communication. The thesis includes empirical research exploring possible problems and advantages of work in cross-cultural teams. The aim of the empirical research is to identify culture-related factors that influence cooperation in cross-cultural teams. Qualitative research was conducted in the form of semi-structured interviews with Czech managers of international teams. The Process of Adaptation of Expatriates in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis deals with the adjustment process of expatriates in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is an analysis of problems in the adjustment process of third country expatriates and their families to life in the Czech Republic, with a focus on expatriates and their families from third countries. Attention is paid to the entire expatriation process, acculturation, the separate phases of the adjustment process, and the specifics of work in a multicultural environment are characterized. Furthermore, the thesis deals with culture and cultural differences between the Czech Republic and third countries. The role of the family unit and the adaptation of its members to culture and life in the host country are also observed. The study focuses on the Czech Republic as a host country of expatriates. Part of the thesis is an empirical survey. The aim of the survey is an identification of the adjustment problems of expatriates from third countries and their families to life in the Czech Republic, and identifying possibilities to facilitate the adjustment. The survey was conducted in the form of semi- structured interviews with expatriates that currently work in Prague.
