Psychological and social aspects of unemployment

Diploma thesis deals with problematic of unemployment, mainly with its psychological and social aspects. Unemployment became a common element of modern capitalist society. Impacts of unemployment are not only economical, but mainly psychological and social.
There is an importance of work for human defined in this thesis and also difference between work and employment explained. The theoretical part of this thesis also deals with definition of unemployment and its basic types and vulnerable groups. Equivalently there are mentioned impacts of unemployment in the psychological, the social and the healthcare levels. Attention is also put on impact of social support, state policy of employment and on development of unemployment in the Czech Republic, in the European Union and in the Vysočina Region, where the research took place.
Empirical part offers subjective opinions of unemployed and employed persons collected in realised interviews based on in-depth interviews technique. The main goal is to find out how these persons perceive the problematic of unemployment. Information collected in this survey were compared with data from academic titles of literature. Finally there are possible starting-points to smoothen impacts of unemployment suggested.

The level of dental hygiene for students at the Faculty of Education at South Bohemia University in Czech Budweis

The topic of the dental hygiene is presently current for all ages and it is attached more and more importance. Therefore, this bachelor thesis maps the level of knowledge about dental hygiene and respect for the rule preventing oral disease among students of Faculty of Education University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. It consists of a theoretical part, which deals with dentistry, dental hygiene, anatomy and physiology of the oral cavity. This part also informs about the pathogenesis of dental caries and periodontal diseases of the oral cavity. The theoretical part also deals with primary and secondary prevention, which has a large impact on reducing the incidence of diseases of the dental apparatus. The practical part focuses on the awareness of students of the Faculty of Education in dental hygiene and primary prevention of diseases of the oral cavity with the help of questionnaires. Evaluated questionnaires were processed in graphs and tables together with the verbal commentary that speaks about awareness regarding dental hygiene and the primary prevention of periodontal diseases among students of the Faculty of Education University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. Another aim of the work was based on a questionnaire survey suggest an educational program for college students. The main theme of this program is the dental hygiene and the best practices to promote good dental hygiene habits and the prevention of diseases of the oral cavity.

Rules of procedure of mandate and immunity committees in selected countries and in the European Parliament: Study 1.206

Studie popisuje proceduru zbavení imunity člena parlamentu ve vybraných evropských zemích. Autorky konstatují, že ve většině parlamentů světa (asi v 60 parlamentech) rozhoduje o vydání poslance k trestnímu stíhání (pokud je upravena trestněprávní imunita) plenární schůze příslušné komory. Rozhodnutí ve většině případů připravuje imunitní výbor komory, výjimkou jsou státy, kde se věcí zabývá předsednictvo komory. Specificky se studie věnuje otázce existence „jednacích řádů“ výborů zabývajících se touto agendou. Ve studii jsou obsažena i pravidla jednání výborů pro neslučitelnost funkcí a střet zájmů. Nejzajímavější je německá úprava, která obsahuje zákaz hodnocení důkazů ve výboru a určuje i zákazy pro obsah doporučení výboru. Tím se vyjadřuje to, že výbor ani komora se nesmí vměšovat do soudních pravomocí.

Práce se zabývá použitím institutu agenta ve vybraných zemích a jeho zakotvením v právním řádu. Srovnávány jsou evropské úpravy (agent kontrolor) s odlišnou úpravou ve Spojených státech (agent provokatér). Zvláštní část práce se zabývá relevantními rozsudky Evropského soudu pro lidská práva. Použití skrytého (tajného) vyšetřovatele - agenta se změněnou identitou patří mezi zvláštní vyšetřovací postupy, které podléhají zpřísněné kontrole. Jejich použití totiž zasahuje do soukromí osob, které jsou pomocí této metody vyšetřovány. Mezi zvláštní vyšetřovací prostředky patří nejenom použití agenta se změněnou identitou, ale také odposlechy, odposlechy telefonních hovorů, sledování dat v elektronickém styku (včetně jejich rozšifrování), a pod.

Challenges and barriers of development of tourism in the region of Slovacko

This diploma thesis focuses on development of tourism in terms of regional development on example of region of Slovacko. The primary objective of my thesis is to identify main challenges and barriers of further development and to provide recommendation and suggestions for development of tourism in the region of Slovacko. The first part of my thesis introduces the general role of tourism in regional development. Here, I describe conditions and background of tourist development both in the Czech Republic and in the European Union. As tourism is a significant part of national economics I pay attention to relation between development of tourism and national economy. Furthermore, there is a definition of the Concept of national tourism policy which specifies different authorities dealing with the management of tourism at various levels. The second part of the thesis deals with the region of Slovacko, its definition and basic characteristics with specific emphasis on the region's high tourism potential. The practical part analyses a role of the Association of entrepreneurs of tourism in the Hodonin district. There is a characterization and evaluation of the association's activities and projects that have been approved and implemented in the region of Slovacko. Based on my questionnaire survey given to the members of this association I try to find out what the major barriers of the tourism development are and how to reduce the obstacles. The conclusion summarizes the main barriers and limits and on the basis of the analysis I formulate recommendations and suggestions for further activities in the region.

Health and Social Problems of Alzheimers Disease in the District Jihlava

A theoretical part of the thesis is focused on Alzheimer´s disease (hereinafter only AD), its development, diagnosis and treatment. It describes communication problems with a person with dementia. It is also focused on a family caregiver and social services which are available for persons with AD. One objective was defined for the practical part. The aim of the thesis was to describe health and social care of people with AD in the district of Jihlava. A partial objective was to chart problems which lay caregivers, caring of a person with AD at home, fumble with. To realize the research I used an interviewing method and a technique of a semi-structured interview at six caregivers who care of a person with AD in the district of Jihlava and a method of a document analysis, a technique of a secondary data analysis. The research was carried out in the period from 20th January to 4th March, 2011 in caregivers´ households from the district of Jihlava. During interviews with respondents their anonymity was preserved. There was found out that 4 of 6 caregivers live in a common household with the person with AD from the analysed and evaluated interviews. All interviewed caregivers underestimated early symptoms of AD and confused them with symptoms of physiologic ageing. 5 of 6 caregivers do not know the Czech Alzheimer Society. All interviewed caregivers indicate the caregiver´s mental stress as the most difficult thing in the care of the person with AD. There was created a table of facilities providing residential health and social services for persons with AD in the region of Vysočina within the secondary data analysis. The bachelor thesis will serve as a basis for Diaconate ECBB in Myslibořice for a consultancy provided in an area of the residential health and social services in the region of Vysočina. The thesis could be used as a basis for a preparation of a community plan of the social services in the region of Vysočina.

Most frequent problem in nurse practice before end after invasive achievements in cardiology

The theme of this is {\clqq}The Most Frequent Problems in Nursing Practice before and after Invasive Cardiological Interventions``. The principal goals were to identify the most frequent problems in the nursing practice after invasive interventions, to map the awareness of patients before and after invasive interventions and the effect of awareness on further course of nursing care. The chapter describing the current state of the given problem also includes the history of invasive cardiology, describes some invasive interventions performed in the hospital and nursing. The latter is mainly focused on the role of a nurse in the care of patients undergoing invasive interventions and describes some nursing problems that may occur in these patients. The importance of communication between nursing staff and patients is highlighted. The qualitative inquiry took place in the form of non-standardized interviews and observation. The interviews were recorded on a dictaphone and transcribed subsequently. Two interviews, on which case reports were based, were made with 5 respondents in total. The case reports were completed with synoptic tables presenting the problems described in the case reports. The investigation took place at the standard Department of Cardiology of the České Budějovice Hospitál, Inc. The case reports include both interviews, before and after an invasive intervention, stating the most frequent problems of respondents. They reflect nurse{\crq}s approach to the care of patient and, last but not least, the level of doctor s and nurse{\crq}s awareness. I can state according to the achieved results that the set goals were reached. The results of this thesis will be provided to the management of the medical facility where the investigation was performed. They may serve to eliminate the described problems related to invasive interventions. The thesis may also be presented at nurse seminars, conferences and in professional magazines for nurses.
