Bauhaus school and reformal pedagogic in the contex of social development in the end of 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century

The theses "Bauhaus school and reformal pedagogics in the context of social development in the end of 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century" looks for the answer for the question if it is possible to consider Bauhaus pedagogics as a part o f a reform pedagogic movement. In the first two chapters are explained political, social and mental reality of the german empire in the time of Wilhelm the II. and the pedagogics of the 19th century. The third chapter deals with reform schooling and the atmosphere of the cultural pesimism of the "fin de siecle". The analysis itself of the Bauhaus pedagogics and its comparison with reform pedagogics on the examples of M.Montessori, R. Steiner and G. Kerchensteiner are found in the chapter four. Local Political Coalitions in the Statutory City of České Budějovice

Municipal policy is quite a new discipline within political science, and especially in the Czech environment it has been an object of attention in recent two decades only. While political scientists abroad have dealt with municipal policy for a long time, in the Czech environment the research of local problems has been in the margin for years.
The subject of this dissertation is not focused on the research of the Czech municipal policy as a whole, but it is concerned with the research of the particular local political system in České Budějovice in recent 25 years. As the city is a large regional capital, there might be implied a certain link between municipal and national policies, which can be noticeable not only in the representation of individual parliamentary parties in the city council, but also in the process of creating individual post-election coalitions.
Methodically the present work is a kind of comparative study which is based on the theoretical conception applying to local democracy, participation of citizens in public life, party systems, an electoral process and forming of election and executive coalitions at a local political level.
In the practical part the degree work is based on the study and analysis of local authority documents of České Budějovice, the programmes of Czech traditional political parties and other parties which, in some cases, became parts of the local political system in České Budějovice. The practical part is also to a large extent based on comparison of election data from the Czech Statistical Office.

Content Based Photo Search

This work deals with methods appropriate to content based photo search, design and implementation of subsequent applications for searching buildings. Purpose of the application is to create an interactive guide to the city using a combination of Web and client technologies (mobile, desktop). There are subscribed in detail the steps of recognition. A key points of the image are extracted by SURF. A visual dictionary is calculated with k-means algorithm. The dictionary is weighted by TF- IDF. To describe the image data is used a Bag of Words method. The text also mentions the new trends in this area and summarizes the application design and implementation results achieved.

Protein Domains Prediction

The work is focused on the area of the proteins and their domains. It also briefly describes gathering methods of the protein´s structure at the various levels of the hierarchy. This is followed by examining of existing tools for protein´s domains prediction and databases consisting of domain´s information. In the next part of the work selected representatives of prediction methods are introduced. These methods work with the information about the internal structure of the molecule or the amino acid sequence. The appropriate chapter outlines applied procedure of domains´ boundaries prediction. The prediction is derived from the primary structure of the protein, using a neural network The implemented procedure and its possibility of further development in the related thesis are introduced at the conclusion of this work.

Trends in the CRM business information systems

The purpose of this thesis is to analyse the trends related to the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) with emphasis on the CRM software. Essential trends were identified through professional analytical reports and dedicated servers. CRM trends were analysed from the time and factual perspective. The core purpose of this thesis was to evaluate possible business value of identified trends for businesses from a selected market segment. To fulfil this goal, the banking segment was chosen to be further analysed. The author of this thesis studied the extent of implementation of chosen trends in a real CRM implementation project executed in a bank operating on the market of Czech Republic. In the process, the set of interviews with "CRM in banking sector" professionals were completed to figure out how they are possibly appreciated by the whole banking sector. Through the responses of the chosen professionals, some trends characteristics were mainly followed. These were trend maturity (captured by slightly modified Gartner Hype Cycle) and trend business value (captured by defined numeral evaluation). An average evaluation of business value of each trend, done from various time perspectives, was displayed by two different tables, each grouping trends on the factual basis. Finally, trends business values were represented graphically to accent their possible progress as seen from the banking sector point of view and to provide users with a simple tool to confront their view with the view of the professionals. The tool mentioned allows users to focus on the trends that are likely to be very beneficial (according to the general opinion of the chosen professionals) and at the same time allows users to stay clear of the trends that don't promise much value for the banking sector, not even in the future.

Education in later life in Czech Republic in compare with European Union nations

This bachelor thesis is focused on education in later life in the sphere of information technology. It focuses mainly in Czech Republic characteristics of education in later life domain viewed from different angles and compares that with overal situation in European Union. It evaluates the educational programs and describes the trends of development of education in later life. It performs the analysis of the relation between seniors and computers and it takes a think of the importance of informatics, learning in later life and also of informatics learning in later life. It also brings the valuation of the later life IT education level in Czech Republic as well as the learning process itself and compares that with the European Union nations.

Analýza veřejných příjmů a veřejných výdajů na úrovni kraje

Práce stručně pojednává o vývoji veřejné správy v České republice, jsou zde nastíněny důvody a průběh reformy veřejné správy a v této souvislosti pojednává i o vzniku krajů. Po prezentování základních demograficko-ekonomických statistik se dále zabývá hospodařením krajů, zejména v letech 1999-2004. Důraz je kladen na čerpaní dotací v uvedeném období co do jejich výše a formy, t.j. dotace investiční, neinvestiční, návratné, nenávratné, členění v rozpočtové skladbě podle druhového i odpovědnostního hlediska s cílem pousouzení jejich využití v uvedeném období, stranou nezůstává ani nárok krajů na daňové příjmy. Při zkoumání výše uvedeného docházím k závěru, že vinou účelovosti naprosté většiny dotací nemají kraje dostatek prostoru pro formování vlastních výdajových politik a je třeba zvýšit váhu příjmů daňových.
