The master´s thesis deals with processing of business plan for the establishment of Jumping centre. Jumping, exercising on small trampolines, is more and more popular in this country. Nevertheless the service is not provided for the general public in Brno. The aim of the thesis is to make a survey to find out how feasible is the business plan.

Present baccalaureate thesis deals with tax news called Public finance reform for a legal entity with effect from 1 January 2008 and tax problems of a legal entity in general. Target of this thesis is to evaluate the impact of tax changes on tax liability of a legal entity and propose an acceptable solution of tax base optimization.
The Internet and private international law

This thesis deals with issues raised by the emergence of the Internet and e-commerce for the private international law. Using the Internet to conduct business brings up new situations that must be reflected and dealt with by law. It is to be solved whether just accommodation of current rules will be enough or new regulation will have to be adopted. At first the thesis describes specific characteristics of the Internet, such as low costs of addressing users regardless of their geographic location or possibility of performing contracts in digitalized form and legal consequences of these characteristics. The following chapter deals with principles from which stems the difference in between jurisdictional rules in common law and civil law states. It examines jurisdictional rules stated in Brussels I Regulation in relation to e-commerce, especially consumer contracts. These firm rules are aimed to secure predictability of forum and in times of the Internet they have to overcome some difficulties through autonomous definitions of European Court of Justice. The next chapter describes the approach of US courts to Internet related disputes. Since they have wide discretion they are able to react much more flexibly to technological developments. Eight year grammar schools - escape or opportunity?

Diploma thesis "Eight-year grammar schools - escape or opportunity?" deals with controversial part of the czech educational system. Eight-year grammar schools have been established in 1849 and are part of czech educational system ever since with an interruption since 1948 to 1990. Their renewal in 1990 was motivated by return to tradition and need for high quality education for future elite. These arguments aren't to persuasive in closer view. Firstly grammar schools nowadays are different from those in the past and secondly results of researches do not confirm advantages of ability tracking. Approach of Ministery of Education to this institution changes with time, its inconsistency mirrors in differences in supply of this kind of education in regions and cities throughout the Czech Republic. This raises the question of equality of educational opportunity and fairness of such a arrangement. Eight-year grammar schools are especially popular in Prague because of their "elite" status, but the motivation of applicants is not so straightforward as a lot of them seek rather an escape from dissatisfying conditions in an elementary school than opportunity of a higher quality education.
Cestovní ruch jako limitující a stimulující faktor rozvoje krkonošských rekreačních středisek

Thesis theme is Tourism as a limiting and stimulating factor the development of the Giant Mountain resorts. The impact assessment has been prepared on the model of Spindleruv Mlyn, situated in the protection zone of the Giant Mountains National park. In the theoretical part of the thesis are discussed basic concepts relating to the tourism, tourism development, impact and sustainability indicators. In the practical part is socio-economic analysis of Spindleruv Mlyn which showing the current status of the town and Giant Mountain National Park. Used indicator of territorial dynamics evaluates the land use Spindleruv Mlyn and with the help of several indicators is analysed intensity of tourism and tourist activities of this resort. Next analysis SWOT analysis evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of the town. The analysis revealed that the most problematic seems to transportation infrastructure, which is associated with increased visit rate of the center. Execution of the planned project by Ski resort Spindleruv Mlyn can really help with the transportation problem. Using structured interviews are further discussed the next steps of Spindleruv Mlyn and the views of local residents.
