Modeling of Dynamics of the Part of a Printing Machine
Junek, Jiří ; Šolc, František (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with modeling dynamics of printing machine, made by SOMA Engineering, in toolbox SimScape of simulation program Simulink/Matlab. There are descibed properties, progress, important principles and laws of modeling in this toolbox. The first part is focused on creating models, which consist as mechanical as eletrical and control parts. In the second part is explained how to create user interface to control models and creating standalone application, executable without installation of Matlab or Simulink. In last part is explained principle of identification parameters of material from the measured data, using an optimalization algorithm Nelder-Mead. Created models and identification algorithm are controlled via user interface.

Novel Methods of Sensorless Control of Drives with PMSM Motor
Lepka, Jaroslav ; Klíma, Bohumil (referee) ; Lettl,, Jiří (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
Purpose of this dissertation is to explore control techniques of PMSM motors and the design of a complex solution of sensorless control across a wide range of speed and torque. The proposed solution supports industrial implementation of different types of end equipment which use a PMSM motor. The work covers a thorough analysis of position and speed estimation. The Control structure is based on field oriented control technique, processes estimated quantities, and optimizes motor conditions to achieve maximum efficiency, start-up torque, and speed. The work discusses how the solution complies with the latest IEC standards. Compliance with these standards requires adapting the sensorless control technique and field oriented control structure. The elimination of a rotor position sensor and a temperature sensor measuring winding temperature requires development of techniques in software for blocked rotor detection and overload detection. The proposed solutions, which have been granted US patents, are explained in this work and utilize the unique features of an NXP microcontroller optimized for motor control applications. The achieved results are demonstrated on real industrial applications.
Curtain Drive Control
Večerník, Jan ; Blaha, Petr (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
Master's thesis describes and proposes solutions for a given problem of a drive in theater curtain DS Krakonoš - Vysoké nad Jizerou using modern microcontroller with voltage transducer.. There is given a detailed analysis of the problem, including the mathematical description of the entire system, then design and its subsequent implementation. The goal of this work is designed to apply a device designed to the engine, which moves theater curtain.
Control of the Electromechanical System with a Linear Motor
Judinyová, Katarína ; Blaha, Petr (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
The submitted Master’s thesis deals with the general principle of the electric drives’ functioning and with the construction of a synchronous electric motor. A comparison of a linear drive and a rotary drive with rack and pinion system is provided, as well as an overview of common type linear drives. A mathematical model of a rotary synchronous motor, the Clark’s and Park’s transformation and the principle of vector control is explained. A method of the linear parameters’ conversion to the rotary equivalents is demonstrated. A block diagram to motor control is designed. The control quality is tested by various criteria. Lastly, there is a simulation provided on how the changes of motor’s parameters affect the control quality.
The implemetation of identification algorithms in digital signal processor DSP56F8xxx
Januška, Jiří ; Václavek, Pavel (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis intends to describe some of identification methods applicable to the induction motor resulting in the profit of some of these parameters by means of mathematical analysis. Afterwards these methods are simulated in MATLAB/Simulink and in the final part algorithms of these methods are consequently implemented to the digital signal processor.

Master‘s thesis contains the issue of positional control of the separate exciting DC motor. In the work is the creation of mathematical model. Next theme of document are questions of optimal control and method of solution LQ controler. The work is also a proposal state observer.
PMSM Drive Sensorless Control
Graf, Miroslav ; Blaha, Petr (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis "PMSM Drive Sensorless Control" concerns about stage reconstructors by PMSM drive control. It describes Model Reference Adaptive System and Kalman filter. Both stage reconstructor are practically implemented at microprocessor and using the method "target in the loop" the functionality of both reconstructors is verified.
Energy Efficient Control of Drives with Synchronous Machines
Szymanik, Marek ; Kozubík, Michal (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
The paper presents a mathematical description of a permanent magnet synchronous moto including losses and its vector control. The paper compares the control of the d component of the current to zero with the control using loss optimization and the efficiency under the given control is compared. The simulation is performed on two variants of the PMSM.
