Urbanová, P. Impact of the economic crisis on the unemployment rate in the dis-trict of Třebíč. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2016. This bachelor thesis deals with the development of unemployment in the district of Třebíč and in the Czech Republic during the years 2005 and 2015. In the first part there is characterized unemployment, types of unemployment and problems related with it. It also deals with economic crisis and state budget in relation with unemployment. Next part of the work characterizes district of Třebíč, describes and analyses development of unemployment in the district of Třebíč and in the Czech Republic and predicts development of it for the following period. In the final part there is compared development of unemployment of these two sites.
Importance of United Nations Security Council and binding effect of resolutions in maintenance of international peace and security

- Importance of United Nations Security Council and binding effect of resolutions in maintenance of international peace and security This paper depicts the history previous to creation and the creation itself of UN and the Security Council, followed by chapter devoted to the permanent and non- permanent members of the Council with subchapter about reform proposals in terms of its composition. Then there is detailed description of functions and powers of the Security Council, including also a topic relating to the Council's period of paralysis. In the chapter on voting procedure there is stressed the crucial issue of distinguishing procedural and non-procedural resolutions with talking about veto power as well. The final chapter is devoted to the decisions of the Security Council with focus on resolutions and their binding effect.

Urbanová, P. The compliance costs by micro and small businesses. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2018. This diploma thesis deals with the compliance costs of taxation incurred by micro and small businesses that use the external processing of accounting and taxation. From a tax point of view, it focuses on corporate income tax and value added tax. In the first part of the thesis, the taxes and the compliance costs of tax-ation are characterized and this part deals with the categorization of accounting units and the results of similar research too. The next part of the thesis describes the companies, methodology approach and the results of the determination of the compliance costs of taxation for each tax from different aspects of the division of enterprises. Finally, an econometric analysis is done.
Mining and Minting in Kutna Hora as a Topic of Integrated Thematic Instruction in History Education in Secondary Schools

The diploma thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the concept of integrated thematic teaching, the history of silver ore mining and coinage in Kutná Hora. The practical part presents the integrated thematic education for pupils of the secondary school, which was verified in practice at secondary school in Suchdol. The mining of silver ore and silver coinage in Kutná Hora was explained theoretically and practically to pupils. Pupils worked with school historical sources and literature relevant to the subject. Part of the practical part was a field trip to the Italian Court in Kutná Hora. In the teaching were used methods, which support brain-compatible learning according to the concept of integrated thematic teaching (for example an interview, a group work, a photography, a brainstorming, etc.). Part of the diploma thesis is also evaluation of the practical implementation of the proposal. There are reviewed not only the benefits but also the pitfalls of integrated thematic lessons.

- International air transport: enforcement of rights of passengers under Regulation (ES) No. 261/2004 in the light of judgments of the European court of Justice The subject of this thesis is the enforcement of the rights of passengers under the Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 February 2004 establishing common rules on compensation and assistance to passengers in the event of denied boarding and of cancellation or long delay of flights. The thesis is divided into five chapters. In the first chapter the particular conventions which have been concluded in the area of the international air transportation and which have influenced this area greatly are covered, in particular the Warsaw and Montreal Conventions. The second chapter focuses on the Regulation 261/2004 itself. Particular situations which establish the right for compensation to the passengers are described and analyzed. The issue of the definition of the term "extraordinary circumstances" has not been omitted either. The provisions of the Regulation 261/2004 are interpreted in the light of the SDEU judiciary.
