Effect of hyaluronan with different molecular weights on the corrosion behavior of AZ31 magnesium alloy in saline solution
Trnková, Zuzana ; Buchtík, Martin (referee) ; Doskočil, Leoš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the influence of hyaluronan with different molecular weight on the corrosion properties of magnesium alloy AZ31 in the environment of physiological solution. Potentiodynamic polarization (PDP) and electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) methods were used for electrochemical tests. Surface and microscopic analysis were performed using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS). Immersion tests were used to characterize the corrosion solution and the surface of the AZ31 alloy.

Education towards integration - the case of public libraries
Trnková, Zuzana ; Kopecký, Martin (advisor) ; Froněk, Jan (referee)
Recognizing the actuality of diverse society we live in, my thesis aims to describe the relation between integration of migrants and education. Firstly I am trying to describe the learning from everyday life that occurs in new social context for a newcoming migrant. Based on this notion I evaluate the possibility of intentional education that could ease and support adaptation process. I try to identify core needs and themes that educational activities should comprehend to fulfil the desired form of education. Later I am questioning to which extent is possible to influence an integration process by educational action. Second part of the thesis is dedicated to a European project called Libraries for All which was aimed to promote upgrade of multicultural services in local public libraries. My aim is to present the current trend in librarianship and migrant work within culturally diverse societies.
Prognosis and diagnostics in acute myeloid leukemia
Jiráková Trnková, Zuzana ; Jíra, Milan (advisor) ; Černá, Marie (referee) ; Špíšek, Radek (referee)
The main aim of the dissertation was in patients with acute myeloid leukemia to investigate the impact of favorable prognostic chromosomal aberrations and increased expression of a family of multiple drug resistance genes to achieve a complete remission and overall survival, and identify the potential prognostic factors. Experiments were focused on the introduction of routine diagnostics of two prognostically favorable fusion genes, AML1/ETO and CBFbeta/MYH11 and multiple drug resistance gene MDR1. This testing was performed by reverse transcription, PCR and subsequent electrophoretic analysis of its products.
The Issues of unlisted Sources of Air Pollution according to the new Air Protection Act
Trnková, Zuzana ; Žákovská, Karolina (advisor) ; Sobotka, Michal (referee)
Diploma thesis focuses on air protection, especially on the issues of unlisted sources of air pollution according to the czech Air Protection Act. It aims on small stationary sources of pollution that are subject to a softer regulation then huge polluters. Important group of small stationary sources are boilers used in homes to heat them up. In the case, that the operator of the sources does not fulfil his/her responsabilities according to the Air Protection Act, he/she can cause damage to the environment and endanger neighbours health. But because of the right of privacy it is not possible to control the source. The paper analysis the possibilities to resolve the dilemma between three constitutional rights - right of privacy against right to a favourable environment and right to the protection of health. Standard bioassay of the efficacy of entomoparazitic nematodes
TRNKOVÁ, Zuzana
The efficacy of three entomopathogenic nematodes (EPN) of family Steinernematidae was tested in different laboratory conditions in this study. The virulence of Steinernema arenarium, S. carpocapsae and S. feltiae was evaluated to fourth-instar larvae of Galleria mellonella and Tenebrio molitor. Standard temperature (25°C) and humidity (12,5 %) was used in bioassay No I. Trial No II focused on impact of temperature 10, 15 and 25°C on effectivity of S. feltiae and S. carpocapsae. Bioassay No III examined the influence of lower humidity and in consequence rehydration on virulence nematodes.
