Katechetical Work with Children in the Hradec Králové Diocese of The Czechoslovak Hussite Church

This thesis is devoted to the topic catechetical work with children in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. After presenting into context depicts the subject from two point sof wiew. The first part is devoted to theoretical catechetics, which describes how the catechesis of children theoretically takes place. The sekond part shows you how it really takes place in Hradec Kralove diocese of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. These two parts are equally divided into three sections. By comparing these sections it is concluded that in practice the fundamental katechetice coincides with the theory. In a formal katechetics, basic points also coincide, but practice may inspire theory rather than vice verse. The material part is of the biggest contradictions, especially in materials that Czechoslovak Hussite Church does (not) offer. Mismatch in this material part of catechetics is essential, and unless a consensus is reached again, the problems that the practice faces, cannot be solved.

Adult Catechetics in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church as an Open Path of God's Word towards Modern Society

RESUMÉ The purpose of this thesis was to outline the current state of catechesis in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church and basic regularities of the andragogic discipline as the science of adult education. We put these findings in the context of adult life, which is based in the postmodern era and secularized society. The first chapter dealt with the specifics of contemporary life and the needs of the post-modern man living in a secularized world. In the second chapter we entered the path of God's Word. We interpret the Word of God in the theology of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church and pointed out the personal / personalistics dimension of the relationship between man and God In the third chapter, we introduce catechesis as a theological discipline. We captured its mission and emphasis from theoretical and practical point of view, and we have followed with the fourth chapter and the specific concept of catechesis in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. We focused on its development, legislative basis and especially methods of catechesis. The fifth chapter describes andragogy as a scientific discipline. Social aspects of Jesus' parables in the Gospel of Luke

v anglickém jazyce In my diploma thesis I tried to gain an insight into Jesus's parables in the gospel of Luke. I was primarily looking into the meaning of gospel, parables and the kingdom of God. I watched Jesus's impact with the help of parables and Luke's contribution to the presevation and to personal literary treatment of Jesus' sayings and ideas. My attention was focused on the interpretation of the seven parables that are told in chapters 15, 16 and 18, in terms of social issues. In the end I chose, from my perspective, the most important messages that could appeal to a wide audience, and help them to distinguish the essential from the inessential in their lives. The strongest one is the message of joy associated with the righteousness of God. The parable shows that we should not stop to make efforts to life socially only, we should hope and trust in the in the establishment of the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ.
