This paper focuses on a timely topic, specifically management of processes and improvement of business processes. Czech economy has now fully accommodated to business in market conditions and Czech businesses are increasingly more integrated into the global economy. These conditions require increasing competitiveness of Czech companies and increasing the efficiency of administrative activity. In order for modern companies to succeed in the marketplace they must constantly focus on the improvement of their activities, and therefore it is important to keep developing new technologies, business methods, and improve the quality of the final products of the introduction of new effective methods of management and organization of businesses. Business processes are an integral part of every company and their improvement is an essential tool to increase competitiveness and proximity to the customer. The study of business processes allows to gain the necessary expertise in complex analysis and a detailed assessment of existing processes, finding optimal solutions that the managers and employees cannot see in their positions. Optimizing business processes supports us in having a clear idea of all the activities, objectives and final outcome of their activities. Only in case where the company will have a good analysis of the underlying business processes focused on a specific goal can the enterprise achieve improvements in all the necessary activities. Process analysis is a good method to answer the question what is necessary and sufficient to achieve the desired objectives. This thesis is focused on business processes and their improvement. The theoretical part elaborates on the process management and compares different approaches to making changes. The practical part focuses on the application of theoretical knowledge in a chosen company. Firstly it describes the analysis of the current situation and subsequently submits proposals for specific improvements.
Evaluation of Online Marketing Communication in Specific Enterprise

The thesis is focused on online marketing communication tools and their effectiveness. The theoretical part focuses on the basics of online marketing and especially to the summary and characteristics of the various tools of online marketing. Those are further described their main advantages and possibilities. The practical part presents selected anonymous company for which the individual tools analyzed. Analyzed are mainly paid channels used by the company to promote its services in the period from the perspective of visitor behavior on the site and in terms of effectiveness of individual channels. Evaluation is done by monitoring key indicators using web analytics Google Analytics. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of online marketing tools selected companies. Partial order is based on the analyzed data to proposing possible changes and other recommendations in this area.
Implementation, management and appraisal of process management in a logistic firm

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of process management. The goal of the thesis is to identify the processes in given firm using the graphic process map. Process mapping is performed through several methods -participation in mapping processes, observation and one-to-one interviews. The practical part of the thesis contains situation analysis. PEST analysis is used to describe the macro environment, defining the political, economical, social and technological environment in the Czech Republic. In terms of analysis of business area, the thesis deals with parcel logistics and e-commerce. In order to analyse the competition, the Porter´s five forces analysis is applied. The analytical part also contains the SWOT analysis. In the end of the thesis, the business process improvements are suggested by the author based on the conclusions of performed analyses.
Organization development strategy

The subject of the thesis Organization development strategy is the description of internal resources of company EcoDům and its external environment, analyzing the target market and its development. The work suggests how to optimize the business strategy. The first part deals with the theory of creating strategies with all aspects related to this topic. In the second - practical part is described the current position of the company EcoDům s.r.o., a SWOT analysis based on internal and external analysis and suggested adaption of corporate strategy for better profitability and business performance.
Competitive advantage

This diploma thesis was based on the main theme of Competitive advantage. The theoretical part of this thesis is concerned with concepts of competition, competitiveness and competitive advantage. Next part is based on analysis of outside surroundings where are specified the main methods of analysing company surroundings. The names of the methods are PEST analysis, SWOT analysis and Porter five forces. In the last part of theoretical thesis are explained types of innovation and innovation process. The conceptual part of the diploma thesis is related to company Snag s.r.o. and its evolution in two periods. The aim of these analysis where to name the main elements with the biggest impact. In the end of the first period was made a decision about new company strategy. According to the new company strategy there was effected innovation process that created new product for selling. This innovation has had crucial market to the competitive position of the company. The implementation of the new strategy has started new periond of growing the company.
Process management and its use for optimization

The subject of thesis Process management and its use in optimization is drafting process change in real company and its subsequent implementation. The work focuses on the steps important to the change process, their explanation and subsequent use in practical part. Thesis is divided into two main parts. First part is a theoretical background of the process management and a development of this sector, explanation of key concepts closely related with process management to a description of a specific methods, which play a role in the process of company management.Next part is a practical part where most of the theoretical background was used. Practical work itself is a real-world example of the banking environment, where was actually implemented. Because of a limited possibility to publish the practical part, I do not mention a particular company and the data used for the preparation example are type data - these are not real data. However, the implementation of process changes was set this way and works now, and since it was the optimization, it is therefore expected that this change will bring its savings in the future. Since the implementation of the changes has already occurred, even this assumption was fulfilled and set change of process still generates its savings.
Energy Management in Public Sector

The main goal of this thesis called Energy Management in Public Sector is to analyze the current state of the facilities and premises of Prostějov municipality with the emphasis on power and gas supplies and the prospective changes in energy consumption. The first part of the thesis focuses on defining energy management, the role of energy manager, renewable and non-renewable energy sources, and relevant Czech and European legislation. Furthermore, it covers the strategic documents pertaining to energy management such as state energy policy, energy audits and energy performance certificates. The second part represents the practical part which is devoted to the implementation of energy management and introduction of energy management software for controlling, measuring and evaluating consumption levels, and attempts to find cheaper power and gas supplies. The data collected in the practical part of the thesis serve as a basis for a proposal ensuring power savings and convenient supplies for facilities operated or funded by Prostějov municipality.
Clinet segmentation in banking sector in CR

This thesis deals with the implementation and use of information technology to support customer relationship management and subsequent segmentation of clients in the banking sector in the Czech Republic. The aim of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the criteria for classification and segmentation of clients chosen subject of the banking sector and, depending on the observed facts to assess and evaluate the portfolio of products offered, ie. how effectively banks have targeted its products to individual customer segments. The theoretical part includes familiarization with the issue of CRM (customer relationship management) and a detailed description of the partial fields, particularly focusing on individual processes and CRM technology. Then there is the approach and discussed the situation on the Czech market, the criteria for allocating market customers, targeting marketing strategies in relation to the marketing mix, and in the end it deals with the beginnings of the implementation of customer relationship management in banking. The practical part is devoted to more segmentation in the banking sector, focusing on segmentation of customers according to segmentation criteria. Subsequently, we analyzed and discussed the situation in selected banks in the Czech Republic, focused on the distribution of clients according to their segmentation strategy and assessment target their banking products to individual client groups.
Employee Appraisal System

Summary The subject of this thesis is the issue of employee evaluation in selected company. The theoretical part is focused on the findings of the evaluation of workers and draws from literature. It presents each method of employee evaluation, their advantages and disadvantages, and other determinants of employee evaluation process, such as objectives, evaluation criteria, its progress or errors that may occur. The practical part deals with research in a particular company. The source of information was an interview with a specialist human resources department area manager and a questionnaire survey among employees of company. According to the results of the survey is analyzed the current situation, functionality and satisfaction with the system. At the end of the thesis, after analyzing the information gathered, recommended concrete steps to improve the evaluation system in the company.
Performance management

This dissertation thesis named Performance management deals with the problems in evaluation of working performance in selected company. The aim of the given thesis is the analysis of present rating system in working performance evaluation and the proposal of potential ganges which could lead to more effective rating of employees and this way also increase the total productivity of given company. The first part of this work focuses on theoretical solutions. It deals with working performance, its substance, process of working performance management, motivation to working performance, rating of working performance and its reward. The second part deals with the analysis of the present rating system in working performance in given company. This analysis is performed with the help of internal communication analysis related to these issues. There is also used the method of questioning where questionnaires are focused on effectivity and satisfaction of employees with this system of rating. On the basis of all obtained data and knowledge there is presented a proposal of changes for improvement in present working performance of employees´rating system in given company in the end.
