Job Satisfaction and Motivation to Work Performance

The aim of the thesis is to analyse motivational and stimulus factors that affect the employees' satisfaction in a company. Motivation and stimulation are very important for human resources department's management in every company because motivation is very complicated and difficult for the management. It's very important to know which factors motivate employees for their better performance. I chose for my analysis one company called DataLife which has place of business in Znojmo. The necessary information was obtained by the questionnaire survey and by conversation with a manager. I evaluated a situation in the company based on the obtained information. At the end of the thesis there are suggested recommendations for changes.

Tick-borne meningoencephalitis in east Bohemia.

The aim of this diploma thesis was a detailed study of a tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) occurence in Eastern Bohemia during years 2003 - 2006. The group of 3100 patients was examined by the use of ELISA technique for IgM and IgG antibodies against the tick-borne encephalitis virus. All the tests were performed in the laboratories of the Virological Department of the Institute of Clinical Microbiology in the University Hospital at Hradec Králové. According to the resulting diagnosis the patients were divided into several groups which were subsequently further characterized on the basis of the age structure and men/women ratio. Moreover, the geographical profile and the primary diagnosis were closely investigated for the studied group of patients. The main part of this work is formed by an extended look at the development of the number of positive cases of the tick-borne encephalitis infection in eastern bohemia during 2003 - 2006. It was found that the increasing trend in the TBE development is similar for Eastern Bohemia and the entire Czech Republic. Furthermore, it was confirmed that this increase is truly a distinct deviation (and not only a casual fluctuation) from the the previous 15-year course. Importance of European Quartet for the tourism in Visegrad group countries

This bachelor thesis deals with the importance of the project European Quartet-One Melody for the tourism in the Visegrad group contries. In the first chapter, there are explained definitions of terms appearing in the thesis (primarily marketing and managemet of destination). The second chapter describes the tourism and its caracteristics in individual countries. The last chapter is focused on the colaboration of national tourist offices, the project European Quartet-One Melody and evaluation of his current importance.

Analysis of the impact of training in the company XY

The main goal of main thesis is to analyze the impact of specific training course, which is focused on project management for employees of the company XY. I will focus on the analysis of one component of evaluating the effectiveness of training. This component examines whether there is a transfer of knowledge, understanding and taught practices in the common business practice. The work includes a theoretical part, which introduce the theory of corporate training, adult education and project management. In the methodological part is the specification of whole research process, including the research hypotheses. The following section summarizes the concrete results of the research.

Evaluating the tourism potential of the Tábor region, using methods of spatial data analysis

Tábor region and the town Tábor offer many attractions, spanning cultural, social, sport and natural beauty. Area investigation using program ArcGIS, questionnaire research and analysis of tourism products showed that the region is of great interest to visitors and tourists mainly for his rich history and heritage, culture, scenic attractions and many sporting events. Analysis of maps created in program ArcGIS found tourism potential not only in the town Tábor, but in other towns and areas across the Tábor region. This analysis, supported by the results of the questionnaire research, recommend ways of improving tourism products, for example compiling a complete package of tourism products into a catalogue or into product packets.
