Analysis of the resource self-sufficiency of NGOs in culture

The Master's Thesis focuses on resource self-sufficiency analysis of four chosen NGOs in culture. Those are theatres Činoherní klub, Semafor, Archa and Dejvické divadlo. All of the organizations underwent the Prague theatre transformation process and became the Public Service Companies. The Thesis investigates, whether the change into to private subject and the rising independence have led also to the increase of resource self-sufficiency and extension of financial resource portfolio. For this purpose the financial statements of the theatres were analysed. The resource self-sufficiency index was put in the context of other financial analysis indices. The Thesis has shown, that although the theatres use at least four financial resources, they are highly dependent on incomes from provided public services and especially on subsidies from the public budgets. The NGOs should improve their level of business activities and fundraising. The resource self-sufficiency of analysed theatres is between 35 and 52 %. While in three cases the self-sufficiency has been increasing, in the last case it has been decreasing continuously.

The Introduction of the Euro and Inflation: Cross-country Differences in Perceived Inflation

This dissertation thesis examines the divergence of perceived inflation, measured by the EU Consumer Surveys, and officially measured inflation after the introduction of cash euro in several eurozone countries. Two groups of countries are tested in the thesis -- countries accepting the euro in 2002 and countries providing the changeover in later years. The main goal of the thesis is to test cross-country differences between officially measured and perceived inflation with respect to economic, social and cultural specifics of the countries in the eurozone, while main focus is given to examining the differences between the above-mentioned two groups of countries. The results obtained could help to derive policy conclusions for the other EU countries which have not yet accepted the common currency.

This thesis focuses on the analysis of a small housing cooperative and owners associations. First part is about housing cooperatives , there are described the general aspects of their founding, management and display of selected financial operations. Subsequently, these aspects are compared with the owners associations and the differences between them are illustrated . The practical part is focused on the analysis of specific housing cooperative.

The goal of diploma thesis is to analyze the motivation program of company ROSS Holding a.s. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part explains concepts of motivation and stimulation, introduces basic theories of motivation and outlines the usage of stimulation in practice. The practical part deals with introduction of examined company, her current motivation program, analysis of satisfaction of employees with this program and with development of discovered preferences in time horizon of two years.

Analysis of Barrier-Free tourism in chosen destination

Bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the barrier - free tourism in Olomouc region.The work is devided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part analyses the problem of tourism, social tourism and barrier - free tourism and its individual technical components on the basic literature. In practical part there is first introduction with the statistics of numbers of physically and mentally handycapped people in Czech republic, Olomouc region and its individual districts. The main part is analysis of services like food service, accomodation and transport and analysis of historic sihgts and cultural events which are accesiable for handicapped people. The target of work is find out the way to inform handycapped people about possibilities in travelling in Olomouc region.
