The Evaluation of the Financial Situation’s Company

This dissertation deals with the rating of the financial situation of the company Xella CZ, s.r.o. using methods of financial analysis. The theoretical part describes the methods of financial analysis and the financial indicators. The practial part includes the application of the financial indicators in the company and the comparing of the financial ratios with the averages of the economic sector. Subsequently are described acquisitions for the improvement of the present circumstances.

Extreme situations solving in welfare institutions

This bachelor thesis deals with extraordinary events solving in social care institutions. There are introduced basic terms, case studies, legislative overview and legislative defined duties for building and operation of social care institutions in the Czech Republic. Next part contains definitions of extreme situations and description of its solving and possible complications. It was undertaken an analysis of the statistics in the Czech Republic about incidents during the last ten years. It contains description of recent state solution in nursing homes in district Pelhřimov. In the last parts are proposed amendments to regulations and standards.

Study of steel frames behaviour depending on stifness of joints

Bachelor’s thesis „Study of steel frames behaviour depending on stiffness of joints“ deals with real joint stiffness calculation by component method and compares its influence on steel construction behaviour computed by linear computational model in assessment of the first and the second limit state. Results are determined via computational modelling in FEM software, where are included individual joints – rigid, semi-rigid and joint. In the introductory part of the thesis is included analytical joints stiffness calculation according to standard ČSN EN 1993-1-8. In the second part the joints are designed to bear inner forces and moments, which created by load combination effects.

The analysis of mandatory expenditures in the Czech Republic in the period od 1993-2013

The goal of the thesis is to analyze structure and development of the mandatory expenditures in the Czech Republic in the period 1993-2013. The theoretical part deals with theories of public expenditures and public revenues in order to explain the importance of the mandatory expenditures in the scheme of Czech public finance. The second section of the theoretical part describes the features and legal framework with regard to the methodology of the Ministry of finance of the Czech Republic. The practical part of the thesis adopts the framework built in the theoretical part of the thesis. The most important expenditures are expenditures arising from law, which represent over 90 % of mandatory expenditures. The social transfers came into scrutiny because of special importance within this group of expenditures. The fastest growing expenditures within non-social transfers were debt-service expenditures caused by irresponsible fiscal policy of the government within the period. The other mandatory expenditures are divided into expenditures arising from other legal regulations, which are negligible, and into expenditures arising from treaties, which are very hard to cut down. The quasi-mandatory expenditures, involing defence spending and wages of employees of the public sector, were analysed in order to build up definition of mandatory expenditures in the broad sense, meaning sum of mandatory and quasi-mandatory expenditures. The last section of practical part of the thesis is devoted to comparing the development of the mandatory expenditures and mandatory expenditures in the broad sense with the development of important macroeconomic indicators, as GDP and inflation and total expenditures and revenues of the government budget. Mandatory expenditures and also mandatory expenditures in broad sense has grown during the whole period, the ratio to public revenues and public expenditures has grown, resulting in decrease of the fiscal democracy of the government and increase of the government debt.

Svoboda, R. Employee benefits and their importance. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2014. In bachelor theses I consider problems of employee benefits. My work is di-vided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes type of employee benefits, legal adjustment of care for employee and tax and levy convenience for participants of the employment relationship. The practical part is focused on a comparison of employee benefits programs of two competing companies that operate in the environment of automotive industry. Comparison will be primarily in terms of tax and levy convenience with regards to their social politics. I will examine motivational effects of provided benefits based on survey. I will suggest a possible development of providing employee benefits in indi-vidual companies.

This diploma thesis deals with using of interregional and international aid forces and means of rescue services during floods. The first chapter describes Civil Protection legislative conditions, coordination, capacity, monitoring tools and information support in the Czech republic, EU and UN. The second capter contains cases study "Floods in BiH, Serbia and Croatia 2014", "Floods in Czech republic 2002". The case studies are focused on EU Civil Protection Mechanism response. Other part describes and compares three High capacity pumping teams. Aim of the last part is design optimization of emplacement of the modules in EU.

Comparing the success of resuscitation in a device without using Lucas in 2012 in the Emergency Medical Service of the Pardubice Region

This thesis deals with the success of manual and instrumental resuscitation. In the theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the history and organizational structure of emergency medical services Pardubice region, description of the Lucas chest compression and theoretical formulation of the problem. The practical part is focused on the evaluation of a set of data that are selected from the total number of trips EMS crews Pardubice. The selected file refers to cases NZO exits and their distribution in the subsequent resuscitation manual or instrument. Describes the percentage will compare their success with the use of the results of individual bases EMS ambulance crews Pak.

Geographical research of the peripheral region of Kaplice with a focus on social capital

This diploma thesis deals with a geographical research of the peripheral region of Kaplice with the orientation on social capital. The administrative district of municipality is located in the southern part of South Bohemia in the district of Český Krumlov. The diploma thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part concentrates on the terms like social capital, periphery and on the basic geographical characteristic of the monitored area. The subsequent practical part deals with the specific research that consists of the analysis of secondary data and survey. All acquired data are processed and presented in the form of tables and graphs with following evaluation and comparison of results with other similar researches.

Draft documents for the implementation of the verification exercise IRS - traffic accident personal vehicles carrying radioactive material with a minibus.

Bachelor thesis proposal documents for the implementation of the verification exercise IRS-accident passenger vehicle carrying radioactive material with a minibus is focused on documentation of the verification exercise to prepare the IRS, which is submitted for approval by the Governor or Mayor of the City Hall for approval. Its structure is adapted for transmission of specific information for reaching constituents and non-experts in this documentation is difficult to navigate. In the current state set out the legal standards under which it is recommended to prepare documentation for the exercise and also describes some accidents and incidents involving radioactive substances or ionizing radiation sources, including some of their characteristics. In the final section is the analysis of individual points for the creation of mandatory contents of a verification exercise to the documentation of the original design documents for the implementation of the verification exercise components of the Integrated Rescue System of an incident-accident passenger vehicle carrying radioactive material with a minibus for the approval of the Governor or the Mayor of Prague.

The comparison of National Property Fund of the Czech Republic and Land Fund of the Czech Republic

The goal of this thesis is the comparison of selected areas of two transformation institucions in the Czech Republic, which are Land Fund of the Czech Republic and National Property Fund of the Czech Republic. In the introduction of the theoretical part, there will be characterized all the terms and definitions related to transformation changes. The thesis will describe the starting position and determinants of the transformation process of the Czech economy, resulting in characteristics of all the pillars of the transformation process in the Czech Republic. Also, there will be characterized all the transformation institutions and their role in the process of transformation. The practical part of the thesis will analyze the legal framework of both institutions of the transformation, then there will be processed the analysis of activities of both funds and their management. At the end of this section, there will be comparisons based on the analytical findings of previous chapters.
