School counselling centre and its role at the first and second grade of the elementary shool

v anglickém jazyce: The Bachelor thesis is dealing with the functioning of the school counselling centre on the first and second grade of the elementary school. The theoretical part consists of themes as the development of school counselling centres, their aims and the description of the whole counselling system. There is also a description of the work of the particular specialists representing this centre. I search for and examine the pupils' satisfaction or dissatisfaction at school and their problems concerning school and family environment in the empiric part. I focus on the children being able or willing to deal with their problems with these specialists. The question is also if the pupils have sufficient information and knowledge to whom they can turn with their troubles.
Reflecting the Needs of the Students with Specific Learning Disabilities in TEFL

The specific learning disabilities with the primary focus on dyslexia as one of the special educational need are characterised in the thesis. The theoretical part provides thorough clarification of the individual disabilities as well as the enumeration and explanation of the re- educational approaches towards the specific learning difficulties aimed at the process of teaching English as a foreign language. The qualitative research conducted on the second stage of the basic school constitutes the empirical part of the thesis. The major aim of tracing the needs of the learners with dyslexia was achieved by combining the results of the analysis of the textbooks and the self-created worksheets, observations from the lessons and the interviews with the participants. The main research question, discussing the degree of appropriateness and suitability of the created material in opposition to the regularly used textbooks, was answered in favour of the designed worksheets. Moreover, the thesis provides well-structured and comprehensive summary of the recommendations to enhance the learning process of the learners with dyslexia. The role of metaphoric representation in the relation of man to transcendence

The thesis deals with the topic of a relation of the human being to transcendence through the concept of metaphor and metaphorical representation. It begins with the comparison of two philosophical systems, namely the ones of Immanuel Kant and Friedrich Nietzsche, whose conceptions are in thesis connected through the question of the limits of human understanding and the relation between the process of thinking and language. The thesis deals with those questions from the point of view of the philosophical concept of the metaphor. This concept, its history and implications are the main topics for the last two chapters. The conclusion will offer two opposite positions, symbolism and idealism. We can find those positions retrospectively in the mentioned works of Kant and Nietzsche thanks to the theory of Jacques Derrida in the final part of the thesis, but we also come to the assumption that their opposition will remain undecided.
The level of the legal conscience of pupils of chosen schools in the Tábor district in relation to the Convention on the Rights of the child.

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of children rights and awareness of the rights among students of secondary schools. The objective of the practical part was to determine the awareness of the Convention on the Rights of the Child among students of selected secondary schools, not only in respect to the existence of the legal document as such but also in respect to the content of the Convention. The results of the research conducted in selected secondary schools in the Tábor district have confirmed that the overall level of awareness among the students about their rights and about the content of the rights is not satisfactory. Therefore, also with regard to the fulfillment of Article 42 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, it is necessary to focus on improvement of awareness and knowledge of children rights among the general public, both in respect to an adult population and in respect to children. It mainly depends on the children and young people whether and how they understand their rights and whether they are able to take responsibility.
