ANGLICKÁ ANOTACE Bachelor's Study: History of Libechov Parish within the years 1890 - 1935 Written by: ŠANTIN Miroslav Jan, 2007 On the turn of 19th and 20th century also in the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy anticlerical activities are stirred following the results of the 1st Vatican Council and consequently the Old Catholic Movement. The 1st World War breaks out, and its sufferings terminates by the disintegration of the centuries-old Monarchy. The foundation of the Czechoslovak Republic brings demand to subdue entire pro-habsburgian and thus, in opinion of many, also Catholic Church. The Church in this newly formed society has to find and defend its place but for this religious struggle is not prepared. Social and church disquiet leads to foundation of the Czechoslovakian Church. This brings with it new wave of resignations which takes along laymen and priests. In the society again the nationalistic discord between German and Czech population grows, in the neighboring Germany Adolf Hitler takes the power, and finaly comes near to another war horror. Many of these evens forced permanent changes in behavior and thinking of idividuals and entire society. Foundation and activities of the Czechoslovak Church in the catholic parish in Přerov between 1919 - 24

ENGLISH ANNOTATION. This bachelor work deals with the foundation and activities of the Czechoslovak Church in the catholic parish in Přerov nad Labem between 1919 - 1924. It describes the problems resulting from the effort to re-establish the catholic parish in Přerov nad Labem and Semice, after that parish actually went down after the parish priest and the believers all joined the Czechoslovak Church. It deals not only with the pastoral activities of the catholic administrators and parish priests, but also with their endeavour to get back the farmerly illegally confiscated possession. Last but not least it also describes the religious disturbances at those days, taking place between the believers of both Churches concerning mentioned problems.

Résumé The priest Joseph Čihák, 1912 - 2003 This thesis maps the life of priest Joseph Čihák's (1912-2003), a canon of the Cathedral Chapter of the Holy Spirit in Hradec Králové who left an indelible imprint on the life of the Dolní Újezd parish near Litomyšl. This thesis describes the respective periods of the abovementioned priest's life, starting with his boyhood and his studies at the Archiepiscopal grammar school in Prague - Bubeneč, continued by his studies of theology in Hradec Králové, the beginning of his service as a priest and cumulating to the violent incident in his enriching clerical life, i.e. the persecution of Joseph Čihák in the years 1956-1962, in which he was unjustly accused and was sentenced by the communist regime to 10 years of imprisonment, of which he served 6 years. This thesis also deals with the effort made by Joseph Čhihák to clean his name from unjust accusations. Furthermore the year of 1968 is being described, in which the aforementioned priest had the courage to return to his parish after six years in prison and another six years of blue-collar profession. English resume Major Hugo Vaníček Father Hugo Vaníček was born on 26th October 1906 in Bystřec et Jablonné nad Orlicí. He entered the noviciate of The Society of Jesus. In 1927 he did A levels at Archiepiscopal Grammar School in Prague and then he studied theology in Innsbruck, Cracow and Maastricht. He took orders in Maastricht on 15th August in 1936 and after that he went in for pastoral service of Czechoslovak miners working in Belgium. He spent one year in Prague at St. Ignatius. But all the time he was preparing for a mission to African Rhodesia. In 1939 Hugo Vaníček went to London where he studied English. When the Second World War started he immediately reacted to the call appeal of Czechoslovak foreign political representation and he enlisted in the Czechoslovak Foreign Army. Since December 1939 Vaníček worked in military camp in Agde in southern France where the first Czechoslovak division was formed. He regularly said a mass in Czech or Slovak language in garrisons and every Sunday and a feast in cathedral. The History of the Christian Academy 1875 - 1952 Vácslav Babička The Christian Academy was established in 1875 as an association of Catholic intelligentsia. The association's chief initiator was the Vyšehrad canon Mikuláš Karlach, who sought support from the Vyšehrad chapter and the St Wenceslas savings society. The activities of the association were divided into four branches: academic, musical, artistic and archaeological (the last two were soon incorporated into a single branch). The association's first president was former Minister of Culture and Education Dr Josef Jireček. The academic department dealt with the publication of theological treatises, the organisation of lectures and the administration of the specialist library. It published the Catholic Clergy Journal and, for its German members, the Christliche Akademie. The first chairman of the academic department was Dr Klement Borový. The music department endeavoured for the reform of liturgical instrumental and vocal music, it promoted the Gregorian chant and polyphony, it organised concerts and organ courses and brought out the magazine Cecilie, later re-named Cyrill. The relationship between the Catholic church and the National socialism in Germany on the eve of World War II The diploma work focuses on the events in the German Empire in the period from Adolf Hitler's takeover of power in 1933 until the outbreak of world war II. The aim of my work is to depict the relationship between the Catholic church and the National socialist government in Germany. The work brings out the key moments of the national socialist program and the substantial statements of its representatives which refer to religion and the Church. And at the same time very severe condemnation of the Church. After takeover of power in 1933 the National socialists made the Imperial concordat. In the years that followed the Concordat was systematically being broken, the Church pursued and its activities consistently destroyed. The work outlines the gradual liquidation of the political Catholicism, the Centre and Bavarian folk parties, liquidation of the professional and youth associations and the Hitlerjugend step-up. It follows the effort to discredit the Church with preachy means which were pursued against it. Legalisation of intentional abortation in Czechoslovakia in the year 1957

The thesis The legalization of intentional abortion in Czechoslovakia i the year 1957 describes this topic in light of history- based on accessible historical documents- within the context of contemporary disputes and the creation of this law. In the preamble are given the discursions to theological ethics and church law, which should have sat this thesis in context of catholic theology. The thesis reflects also the progress and attepmts at full legalization of abortions soon after the Czechoslovakia was brought into being. The abortion act was enacted in the end of the year 1957. This fact is compared within the international situation. In addition more carefully is described the progress of the abortion act in USSR and several states of the Eastern bloc. The thesis also etchs in the activities of so-called "Prolicidal boards", which were settled down by the czechoslovakia government. These boards brought along that in the year of 1957 were abortions permitted only with partial restrictions. Production of components "control element" extrusion

The project elaborated in frame of engineering studies branch Engineering technology submitted technology design of manufacturing a control element by extrusion – part of aluminium alloy EN AW 6082. On the base of literature study of the cold forming problems and calculations was designed procedure on one operation. Semi-finished product was chosen cut block rods with a diameter of 43.5 mm and length of 17,4 mm. The production is designed for toggle stamping press LLR 400 (producer Šmeral Brno a.s.) with a nominal force 4000 kN. Extrusion punch and extrusion die are made of steel alloy 19 830.4 heat-worked according to drawing documentation.
Produstion of shifting carrier by solid forming

The Project elaborated in frame of bachelor's studies branch 2303 and it presents technology design and forging production - part of aluminum alloy EN AW 6082 T6. Drop forging in one operation was suggested on the basis of specialized studies on the subject of drop forging and calculations. Regarding urgent need use of ejector pins and other aspects, he was elected vertical forging press LZK 1000 P / SH (producer ŠMERAL Brno), with a nominal force 10 MN. Swages are made of alloy instrumental steel, 19 552.8, heat-worked according to drawing-documentation.
