Poměr mezi katolickou církví a národním socialismem v Německu v předvečer II. světové války Diplomní práce se soustřeďuje na události v Německé říši v období od převzetí moci Adolfem Hitlerem v roce 1933 do vypuknutí II. světové války. Cílem práce je postihnout vztah mezi katolickou církví a národně socialistickou vládou Německa. Práce přináší klíčové momenty národně socialistického programu a podstatná vyjádření jejích představitelů, které se vztahují k náboženství a církvi. Současně i ostré odsouzení této ideologie ze strany církve. Po převzetí moci roku 1933 národní socialisté uzavřeli Říšský konkordát. Konkordát byl v následujících letech systematicky porušován, církev byla pronásledována a její aktivity důsledně likvidovány. Práce nastiňuje postupnou likvidaci politického katolicismu, stran Centrum a BVP, likvidaci katolických profesních i mládežnických sdružení a vzestup Hitlerjugend. Sleduje cílenou likvidaci katolického tisku i násilné převzetí školství. Popisuje snahu o diskreditaci církve devizovými a mravnostními trestními procesy, které proti ní byly vedeny. Na pozadí těchto represí se práce zabývá vývojem postojů a oficielních vyjádření německých biskupů. Od odsouzení před rokem 1933, přes opatrná vyjádření v letech 1934 - 1935, k pokusům o smír v jednání s Hitlerem v roce 1936, jednoznačně... The relationship between the Catholic church and the National socialism in Germany on the eve of World War II The diploma work focuses on the events in the German Empire in the period from Adolf Hitler's takeover of power in 1933 until the outbreak of world war II. The aim of my work is to depict the relationship between the Catholic church and the National socialist government in Germany. The work brings out the key moments of the national socialist program and the substantial statements of its representatives which refer to religion and the Church. And at the same time very severe condemnation of the Church. After takeover of power in 1933 the National socialists made the Imperial concordat. In the years that followed the Concordat was systematically being broken, the Church pursued and its activities consistently destroyed. The work outlines the gradual liquidation of the political Catholicism, the Centre and Bavarian folk parties, liquidation of the professional and youth associations and the Hitlerjugend step-up. It follows the effort to discredit the Church with preachy means which were pursued against it. On the background of these repressions the work deals with the development of the attitudes and official statements of the German bishops.
