TITLE: Possibilities of selected key competences development during practical activities of children performed in after-school club of Primary practical school AUTHOR: Zdeňka Sojková KATEDRA: Department of Information Technologies and Technical Education THESIS SUPERVISOR: Doc. Ing Jitka Vodáková, CSc. Abstract The present thesis identifies possibilities to employ practical activities performed in after- school club of Primary practical school as an integration instrument for an absolutely heterogeneous group of children. The theoretical part shows a brief history of education of persons with specific educational needs, in particular of the ones with mental disability. It includes, as well, the education of foreigners' children. I introduce shortly the Frame curricula that serve as the basis for school curriculum of the Primary practical school specifying the key competences to be gained by the pupil during his school attendance. The practical part of the thesis has been aimed to create a project that could help to develop some of key competences which the children should gain during their attendance of the Primary practical school.
