Prevention of back pain in adults using a computer

Computers in modern times have become part of our lives, but apart from benefits they bring many medical complications as well. This paper provides a brief overview of existing knowledge and studies, dealing with back pain in the adult population working with computers. In the theoretical part, the emphasis is on prevention and treatment of back pain, which is very intertwined. The practical part presents the results of research, which had the form of a checklist answered by 50 men and 73 women. The results show high prevalence of back pain of computer users, many differences are to be found in the characteristics of pain of men and women, ages and dependence of pain intensity on movement habits of respondents. The work points to the significance of the problem, which is important for the society. It stresses the need for an active approach of computer users and their employers. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and condition of lower limb

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is serious illness which prevails more often in last decades. The main reason why this happen is smoking epidemic and worse environment. Beside primary impacts on respiratory system, COPD has some secondary non-respiratory consequences. The most serious of them is muscle dysfunction, which affects lower limb muscles the most. The aim of this work is to summarize the knowledge of functional, structural and metabolic changes in lower limb muscles and their etiology. The aim ofthe work was gather to information about investigative positions, operations and tests foeused on the equilibrium funetion. At the beginning the work speaks generally about balanee fubetion and their development in ehildhood. ln a speeial part of my work foeuses on investigative methods to be used in ehildren. From clinieal examination methods work deals with statie, dynamie testing as well as batteries oftests. For statie tests, the work turns on positions from an upright standing pos ition. Dynamie tests are foeused primarily on a modifled walking. Then the paper deals with instrumentation objeetive balanee funetion testing. The contemporary view of muscle dysbalances of the upper-crossed-syndrome type

The thesis "Contemporary perspective on muscle imbalance of upper -crossed syndrom "deals with its etiology, then with kinesiological content and therapy principles in its background research. This problem is approached from the Czech and world point of view. The clinical experiment compares muscle activity with tendency to hyperreactivity linked to this type of imbalance in the group of patients suffering from respiratory disorders to control group of healthy probands. Sitting position, stand and stand with shoulder flexion are examined kinetic sequences whose selection was the result of their numerous representation in everyday life. Skeletal muscle in patients with renal faiture

Úvodní část hlavní statě obsahuje stručný přehled fyziologie a anatomie fyziologického kosterního svalu. Zabývá se také jeho vlastnostmi jako je únava a regenerace. V další kapitole je struč n ě pojednáno o chronickém selhání ledvin, jeho komplikacích a zdravotních problémech, zahrnujících též sníženou funkci kosterního svalu a sníženou tělesnou zdatnost. Do klinického obrazu uremická myopatie, obsaženého ve třetí části, patří svalová atrofie (hlavně II.typu vláken) a rychle nastupující únava. Dále jsou zde popsány morfologické a funkční změny uremického kosterního svalu jako je zvýšená produkce laktátu, snížený přenos kyslíku z kapilár do svalu a poškození svalových vláken na buněčné úrovni. Na tyto změny pak navazuje negativní vliv uremické myopatie omezující celkovou zdatnost a toleranci zátěže. V poslední části práce jsou uvedeny možnosti terapeutického ovlivnění uremi cké myopatie, mezi jejichž aspekty patří kvalita dialyzační léčby, prevence sekundárního hyperparatyreoidismu , nutriční stav, suplementace karnitinu a korekce anémie pomocí lidského rekombinantního erytropoetinu. Jako další terapeutický přístup je ve zvláštní kapitole popsán rehabilitační pohybový program, k t e rý u uremických pacientů vyžaduje lékařský předpis s danou intenzitou a délkou zátěže, které jsou určeny individuálně. Marketingová strategie Mezinárodního hudebního festivalu Český Krumlov

Diplomová práce navrhuje marketingovou strategii Mezinárodního hudebního festivalu Český Krumlov a dále pak jednotlivá taktická opatření v oblasti marketingového mixu festivalu. Pro návrh strategie je využita analýza kulturně-společenských akcí v Českém Krumlově a analýza informací z předchozích ročníků festivalu. Práce dále poukazuje na širší socio-ekonomické dopady konání MHF ČK na podnikatelské subjekty ve městě a jeho okolí, analyzuje možnosti užší spolupráce mezi nimi a pořadatelem festivalu a definuje profil typického návštěvníka MHF ČK.
