Development of socio-spatial differentiation in region Severovýchod using the results of census 1980 - 2011

Bachelor's thesis covers the development of socio-spatial differentiation in region NUTS II Severovýchod at the base of the data from the last four nationwide census. Monitoring is executed at the local level represented by municipalities. The region is also introduced in the Czech and European context. Quantitative research confirmed the expected trends. The concentration of core and peripheral areas has increased from the census in 1991 (the first census after the fall of socialism) regardless the population size of municipalities. Regional Identity of the Bohemian Paradise

This thesis deals with the regional identity of the Bohemian Paradise. The main objective is to analyse identity of the region and regional consciousness of its inhabitants and to determine how they reflex the existence of the tourist region Bohemian Paradise. Thesis is also trying to determine to what extent the county border are barrier to the development of relations and cooperation between people and between institutions in the region. The first part gives an overview of theoretical background of studies of regional identity, identity of region and space polarisation. The second part analyzes the regional identity of the Bohemian Paradise in discussion of literature and other sources and trying to determine whether researchers and institutions think the Bohemian Paradise as peripheral region. The third part deals with analysis and interpretation of results of field research. Methodologically the thesis is based on the construction of mental maps, questionnaire inquiry and interviews.
The horse riding in the region Vysočina

The topic of this thesis is the hipotourism. This kind of tourism often accompanies rural tourism and agritourism. Therefore, the work deals with these kinds of tourism, their creation, purpose and contribution, as well. The goal of this work is to create a plan of a hipopath in the Ledečsko macroregion located in the Vysočina region. In addition to the bibliographic search of available literature, the method of controlled interviews was used, with respondents being the owners of horse riding stations. It was found that hipotourism has difficulties developing in the Ledečsko macroregion. Two plans have been created - the first hipopath is close to having educational nature and is near Ledeč nad Sázavou, the second one is meant for a carriage and creates a circuit around Habrek. Both paths are bidirectional. The owners of horse riding stations has accepted both plans positively. Key words: agrotourism, hipotourism, equestrian trail, rural tourism, the region Vysocina

The objective of the bachelor thesis is especially to analyze the impact of tourism on residents of monitored community and transcribe the present phenomenon of strong development of tourism in the monitored area.
