Risk analysis of operated horizontal milling machine

This bachelor thesis concerns about the risk analysis of the operated console horizontal milling machine produced in 1963. The thesis contains an overview of the valid legislation of the European Union and the Czech Republic concerning occupational safety and health. Subsequently, a review of the current harmonized standards and standards valid in the year of construction is conducted. Another part of the thesis is the identification of hazards and the proposal of preventive measures to reduce risks. In conclusion, acquired knowledge is summarized.

This thesis looks into improving of tubes filling mechanism. The thesis concentrates on the analysis of the current machines technology and the suggested innovation in view of given input parameters followed by construction calculations, project design and comparison of currently used versus proposed solution. The aim of the thesis is to propose a design of a replacement of filling mechanism drive to achieve more efficiency in regards with the process of the filling of the tube by a product, decrease the time period required for this process and preserve or lower the production costs.

Control of nonconforming products in machining department at company

This diploma thesis deals with the process of managing nonconforming products in the machining department of an unnamed manufacturing company located in the territory of Brno. It contains a search of the current state of science and technology in the field of quality management, a search of relevant standards, system analysis of the issue, design and justification of the selection of quality management tools, application of selected quality management methods to reduce the occurrence of nonconforming products in the machining department. Finally, an overall assessment of the current situation is made. All this supplemented by own conclusions and recommendations.
Assessment of the operator reliability of the selected machine

The master thesis is focused on the reliability of the human factor in the operation of the production machine. In the first part the basic legislative requirements for safety and reliability of work are presented. In the second part, the reliability of the human factor is discussed along with a description of selected methods for assessing the reliability of the human factor. The research section then concludes with a proposed methodology for human factors assessment for the manufacturing process. In the practical part, the proposed methodology is applied to the selected process, which includes risk identification and outputs from the selected methods. The thesis then concludes by recommending preventive measures to eliminate the identified risks.
Measurement of customer content of quality management

The bachelor thesis deals with the measurement of customer satisfaction in the field of quality management. The theoretical part contains customer satisfaction and the methodology of measuring customer satisfaction is analyzed. The practical part describes current measurement of customer satisfaction in the company Tawesco s.r.o., Kopřivnice. The aim of this work is to evaluate the current situation and propose recommendations for improving quality management in the area of customer satisfaction, which is processed as follows. This bachelor thesis is mainly focused on the modification of the formal side of the questionnaire, recommendations for increasing the response rate of respondents and streamlining the survey process. There are developed reccomendations for changes based on the analysis of the current companies questionnaire and comparability of data obtained from respondents from the years 2017-2019. Particular recommendations should lead to more accurate information obtained from customers and it ensures more effective implementation of improvements and subsequent increase of customer satisfaction.
Improving the quality of the escalators/elevators production process

The bachelor thesis deals with the process of manufacturing of escalators and moving sidewalks. It focuses on the eligibility of the process, its evaluation and application of selected statistical tools in the form of capability indexes, control charts and PPM. Theoretical knowledges are applied to a specific technological process and its critical characteristic. The result of the work is an evaluation of the proper application of statistical methods and proposals on how to improve them.
