The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide an annotated translation of two selected chapters from the book 50 величайших женщин. The thesis consists of two parts: the first one is the translation itself, the second part represents the annotation of that translation. The annotation is also made of two parts. The first one is the analysis of the source text based on the model of Christiane Nord, that is the categorization of intratextual and extratextual factors. The second part describes translatological transformations and is based on the classification of V. N. Komissarov.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide an annotated translation of a chapter from the book Записки адвоката by Dina Kaminskaya into Czech language. The commentary consists of two parts - the first part contains a translation analysis based on the model of Ch. Nord, which within intratextual factors includes also a typology of translation problems on several levels, the second part is a typology of translation shifts based on the classification of V. N. Komissarov.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is a translation of a chapter titled Prinuditel'nyje migracii i Vtoraja mirovaja vojna from a Pavel Polyan's book Ne po svojej vole: Istorija i geografija prinuditel'nych migracij v SSSR and the analysis and commentary of this translation. The commentary consists of four parts. The first part contains an analysis of the source text using the model of Christiane Nord, taking into account also the cathegories used in Czech stylistics. The second part describes the conception of translation and the chosen translation method. The next part deals with problems that occured during the process of translation and their solutions. The last part deals with the translation shifts. Czech reception of Mikhail Bulgakovʼs novella The Fatal Eggs

This thesis deals with the reception of the works of Michail Bugakov by the Czech community from the 1920s to 1980s. This time frame is set by the publishing of two translations of Bulgakov's novella Fatal Eggs. Using the two translations, published over fifty years apart, this thesis attempts to demonstrate how were Bulgakov's works received by the Czech community and in what context were they understood. The thesis focuses mainly on the impact of the novel in the life and work of Michail Bulgakov. Following that, a picture of the author created by the Czech journalism and commentaries accompanying his works is shown. Through the analysis of these texts the thesis focuses on the influence of ideology on the interpretation of author's works and fate. Further focus is given to the differences of translation styles of both translators. The translatological analysis of selected samples of both translations has been conducted and upon it the methods used by each of the translators have been synthesized. The aim of this Bachelor's Thesis is to present annotated translation of the text from the historical documentary by trilogy author Vitalij Shentalinskij "Raby Svobody". In the commentary attention was paid not only to problems at various language levels, but also to cultural and the other influences. The theoretical part, which is based on Czech and Slovakian theoretical works of Jiri Levy and Anton Popovic, could also help to facilitate deeper understanding the role of the translator and alternative ways of how the translator can deduce a solution to particular translation problems.
Multiple Sclerosis: Corticoid and Biological Therapy, Importance of Pedagogy in Rehabilitation

The submitted thesis deals with the theme of a neurodegenerative autoimmune disease, the sclerosis multiplex. Although this serious disease has become an object of intensive research in recent decades and there is an inexhaustible quantity of literature available, we haven't yet fully identified the causes of this disease as well as we haven't found such kind of effective treatment that would lead to the permanent recovery of patients. I focused my interest on two main spheres: first, the description and comparison of practices in terms of pharmacotherapy giving priority to its benefits to patients, second, the view of another important but not always appreciated part of therapy, physiotherapy or rehabilitation; the main point is studying of processes and actions from the pedagogical point of view.
Czech Language of Native Speakers of Russian

The diploma thesis Czech Language of Native Speakers of Russian is a study which analyses the use of the Czech language by few non-native speakers whose native language is Russian. The first theoretical section constists of introduction to the most important theories in the field of language acquisition and selected types of analyses which will be used in my own research. The second part contains specification of my goals, approaches and the description of used materials. Third, there are language biographies of my speakers and analysis of several texts (or transcripts of oral recordings) with the emphasis on the influence of speaker's L1. The analysis of data is the accuracy, complexity and fluency measuring that should test qualities of speaker's language use from various points of view. The conclusion summarizes the results of the research and verification of my hypothesis. A. Akhmatova's and M. Tsvetaeva's Poetics and Its Rendering in Czech Translations

The thesis focuses on the rendering of the poetics of Anna Akhmatova and Marina Tsvetaeva in Czech translations. The first part deals with the phenomenon of poetesses in the Russian literature and subsequently with Akhmatova's and Tsvetaeva's life, works, style and reception. The second part is focused on contrastive translatological analysis of different approaches to their poetry and detailed analysis of existing Czech translations of Akhmatova's poem Rekviem and Tsvetaeva's work Popytka revnosti. It defines the approach of all translators to translation and evaluates the quality and adequacy of individual translation solutions in relation to the author's style and intention.
Effect promotion of alcoholic beverages to teenagers the possibility of prevention

The presented thesis deals with the topic Influence of promotion of alcoholic beverages to the juveniles, ways of prevention. The goal of the thesis is mapping the situation in the field of alcohol consumption by juveniles, to find connections between alcohol consumption by juveniles and all motional factors including alcohol propagation on one side and prevention on the other side.The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with alcohol, with an emphasis on alcohol abuse by juveniles and its impact on them, the topic of advertising, principles of operation and advertising techniques and finally the issue of prevention. The practical part consists of a reconnaissance survey aimed at juveniles and the environment in which they find themselves, alcohol, prevention and promotion and their interconnectedness; the processed survey results are used to confirm or refuse the formulated hypotheses.
Inner emigratation of Jan Zábrana and Osip Mandelstam

Diploma thesis Inner Emigration of Jan Zábrana and Osip Mandelstam examines the relationship between a poet (Osip Mandelstam) and his translator who is also a poet (Jan Zábrana). It shows connections between their life experiences, and the way these moments affected their own poetics. Simultaneously, it finds out if and to which degree Mandelstam- poet influenced the poetry of Jan Zábrana. The analytical part of the thesis compares Czech translations (by Jan Zábrana and Jiří Kovtun) of Mandelstam's poems Петербургские строфы, Концерт на вокзале, Еще не умер ты...
