Banking Crime Detection using SQL

This bachelor thesis on Banking Crime Detection using SQL focuses in theoretical part on approach to databases. It describes progression of database, methods of storing data in databases according to defined rules, interrelationships between tables and normalization process. It contains approach to bank fraud, distribution of fraud, instruments to assist the detection of fraud and follow prevention of iteration whit the use of database systems. Practical part contains proposal possible screenplay fraud uses knowledge of theoretical part. It contains sample tables containig data about clients, filed application and employers, which clients indicated in the application, and blacklist table to authentication company. Tables are linked through keys and suspicionus company are selected from tables. Company is regarded as suspicionus if it grows at the amount of application submitted. That company is verified in table blacklist.
Maastricht Criteria and Their Role in Common Monetary Policy of the European Union

This thesis deals with the monetary union development issues and their role in the process of European Union integration. Following the Maastricht convergence criteria (price stability, foreign exchange rate stability, stability of long-term interest rates, and condition of public finance) is essential for the accession to the European Monetary Union (EMU). The sense of Maastricht criteria is to evaluate the level of economic convergence. The content of the thesis focuses both on the evaluation of the candidates ability to fulfill the Maastricht criteria and to integrate into the monetary regime of EMU, and fulfilment of the criteria by current members of EU. Next part of the thesis follows up the origin and development of a theory of optimum currency area (OCA), which assesses the suitability of using common currency within EMU by means of its criteria. In conclusion of the thesis benefits and expenses of the common currency are compared, and the future development of EMU is mentioned.
Tourist Destination Value - Southern Bohemia

The Thesis deals with the value of the tourist destinations in South Bohemia. Tourism destination and its potential is dealt with in the theoretical part, based on the study of scientific literature. An integral part of the potential of the tourist destinations in South Bohemia are natural and cultural attractions found in this area. Literary part also explains in detail the selected data collection methods that were used for empirical research. The practical part is focused on comparing the results of questionnaire surveys based on which the value of the tourist destination was defined. The results of this Thesis can be used, for example, by the destination companies or individual tourist centers.
Tourism and its sales form

This diploma thesis deals with a research carried out at Prague travel agencies using the Mystery shopping method and the follow-up evaluation and recommendation of a suitable form of selling in a respective region. The aim of the work is to evaluate the travel agencies from the point of view of the quality of the offered products, provided services, the agents´knowledge and the general interaction with them. The theoretic part consists of chapters that explain the key concepts and definitions of tourism and their forms of selling. In the methodical part the Mystery shopping method is discribed from the point of view of the historiy and evaluation of the work including the research period. The practical part is dedicated to the analysis of the data obtained during the Mystery shopping realized at travel agencies and includes three parts. The first research has the form of an online require in which the agents´ability of offering and follow-up selling of a product is evaluated. This research is carried out through the email communication. The second research concerns ordering tours on web portal where the agents´willingness to arrange further services for a tour is evaluated. This research is carried out through the phone communication. The third Mystery shopping research is realized personally at individual travel agents offices and the agent´s direct communication and dealing with the customer as well as his professionality are evaluated.
Financial Statements in selected organization

This diploma thesis is focused on the financial statements. The theoretical part is focused on general characteristics of the financial statements, that is what is meant the financial statements, what kinds of financial statements exist, in which extent could be the financial statements does and with which legal adjustment is connected. Next part is focused on the operations that previous the closing books (closing of accounts), which include especially stocktaking of property and liabiities, reserves creation, exchange differences, accruals and deferrals expenses and revenues, decrease in value of assets, the computation of current and deferred taxes of the income tax and closing of accounts books. The theoretical part is next focused on the financial statements and the characteristics of the individual financial statements such as balance sheet, profit and loss statement, appendix, cash flow statements and changes in equity. Afterwards is focused on other obligations associated with the financial statements, such as audit, the annual report, makes financial statement public and archiving of various documents. The analytical part uses theoretical knowledge for evaluation of the process of financial statements in selected organization. On the basis of this evaluation it was found failings, that helped suggested various recommendations to improvement the process of accounts in selected organization and a more faithful representation of accounting reality.
Training and personal development in the organization

The bachelor thesis is focused on education and personal development of employees in the organization Žatecký pivovar, s. r. o. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part takes the form of a literature review in which are defined and described the basic concepts related to the topic of the thesis. This part deals mainly with the processes of development of employees, areas and methods of their education, educational needs and motivation. The practical part contains the characterization of mentioned organization and its basic information, the adaptation process of new employees and the introduction of some educational activities provided in this organization. There are also results of the survey including their graphical projection, the results of the interviews with employees, the summary of these results and subsequently formulated suggestions for improvement of the situation in the followed organization.
Education with help of ICT tools

This thesis deals with the usage of ICT tools in education. It aims to find out which tools are used in modern teaching methods and what are the demands for teachers and students. In the first part is general description of ICT, which is used in education in both terms of hardware and software. The second part describes the precise implementation of these ICT tools in teaching at two schools that were observed. Both schools are using mobile touch devices during classes, however both schools are using different classroom format. The differences between these formats are explained further in the thesis and the use of ICT tools at both schools is explained with the help of practical examples. The work also deals with the issue of funding, especially from EU funds, from which one of the observed schools draws finances.
Selection and evaluation of common wheat varieties for organic farming

This Bachelor Thesis has been a constituent of long-time researches that concern the verification of the suitability of wheat sorts for organic farming at the Plant and Forage Production and Nutrition Station, Uhříněves. It deals with the evaluation of chosen productive and quality parameters of two sorts. These are Scaro and Ekolog that were bred with the aim to be grown in the conditions of organic farming. They were compared afterward with the parameters of common winter wheat sorts bred for conventional farming.
Programming languages comparison on the Apple platform.

This bachelor thesis deals with issues of programming languages comparison on the Apple platform, more exactly on the operating system iOS. Main topic is comparison of appropriate languages, which are Objective-C and Swift. In the first section of the bachelor thesis is clarified basic terminology of object oriented programming and description of operating system iOS. This is followed by description of programming studio Xcode and languages Objective-C and Swift. Practical section of the bachelor thesis is focused on design, creation and description of the model application. Code description is performed through comments of the essential parts of the code for both programming languages.
