Roof structure of terminal building
Matouš, Petr ; Bukovská, Pavla (referee) ; Röder, Václav (advisor)
The supporting structure of the roof of terminal building is designed as a combination of trusses glued laminated timber, purlins and columns of solid wood and steel poles supports and rods. Truss is mounted on steel columns and supported by steel lattice structures and wooden pillars.
Steel structure of viewing tower
Doležal, Tomáš ; Röder, Václav (referee) ; Hron, Lukáš (advisor)
Aim of the bachelor thesis is to create proposal and static assessment of supporting steel structure of 24 meters high viewing tower based on original architectonic proposals. Climatic load (wind, snow, icing) is determined for expected allocation of viewing tower - Plzeň. The thesis consists of technical report with assembling solution, static report of main supporting parts and chosen connections and drawing documentation. Computational model for evaluation of internal forces is realized in SCIA Engineer 2011 software. Static report is created manually according to valid European standards.
The steel structure of a storage
Hrnčíř, Petr ; Röder, Václav (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and static assessment of steel structures buildings for storage purposes. The work contains a static calculation performed by software Scia Engineer, manual examination of selected bars and drawings proposed design solution.
Steel structure of botanical pavilion
Ducheček, Jan ; Barnat,, Jan (referee) ; Röder, Václav (advisor)
Work called Supporting curved construction of botanical pavilon is developed as realization documentation. The building is situated in an area with low vegetation, where the hight of sorrounding buildings do not exceed 5 metres. Construction of a triaxial ellipsoid shape has a layout dimensions of 42,5 x 30 m and 7,3 m surge. Roof cladding is made from textile sheets from PTFE fibers, which are anchored to the trusses. The translucent textile sheets are used to achieve optimum conditions for plants that are grow inside. The supporting construction is made of glued laminated beams, which are tilted by 45 degrees and alternately fit together. Emphasis is placed on visual design of construction.
Steel-Concrete Columns Composed of High-Strength Materials
Röder, Václav ; Štěpánek, Petr (referee) ; Studnička,, Jiří (referee) ; Vičan,, Josef (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is the verification of the buckling strength of the composite compression members which were made from high-strength materials. This thesis is divided into four main chapters which are interconnected. The first chapter summarizes the current state of the problem of the compression members. The basis of this part is the elementary theories and researches, the task of this text is attempted to understand and obtain normative procedures which are important for practical use. The second part deals with the theoretical analysis of composite column, mainly with the examination of the individual effects on the buckling strength. The result of the first and the second parts is analytical algebraic equations which determine the buckling strength of the member. The third part contains the numerical analysis, which leads to create a numerical model of the compression column. The numerical model is used for the verification of the theoretical analysis and for the investigation of the behaviour of the column loaded by axial force. The last part deals with the experimental verification of the previous analyses. There are tested various types of the composite columns, which were made of steel with a yield strength up to 455 MPa and of the concrete with a cube compression strength up to 102 MPa. Experimental results confirmed the high reliability of centrally loaded column and every tested columns failed by flexural buckling. The final step is evaluation and comparison of the results obtained from previous four parts. It was founded that design criteria for centrally loaded steel-concrete column are too conservative and design relationships doesn´t use the positive properties of high-strength materials for economic design.
County library in Havlíčkův Brod
Sommer, Miroslav ; Röder, Václav (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The work is treated as a steel construction multi-storey buildings in the county library Havlickuv Brod. At design requirements were respected in shape and layout of the building. The complex consists of three parts - two, four and five floors. The overall footprint is about 85 x 32 m. The proposal is designed as a composite steel and concrete slab. Pent roof construction is inclined 5 degrees. Anchors are designed as joint. Horizontal forces on the design of frames are transmitted in both directions.
Truss arch structure for multi-purpose hall
Chalupa, Vojtěch ; Hron, Lukáš (referee) ; Röder, Václav (advisor)
The main objective of this bachelor’s thesis is a design of a multipurpose mobile arc hall. The arc span is 25 m. Total hall lenght is 30 m. The load-carrying construction system consists of a transversal truss beams composed of tube profiles. The variant of transversal truss beams as Vierendeel beams is further designed in this thesis. Transversal beams are supported by joint bearings. The calculation was done in the Scia Engineer 2011 software.
Supporting structure of exhibition pavilion
Novotný, Petr ; Štrba,, Michal (referee) ; Röder, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and stress analysis of the steel construction of an exhibition pavilion in Brno which utilises tensegrity in its load-bearing system. It also includes the assessment of the main load-bearing construction elements and of the details of selected connections. The thesis also contains the design documentation of the building.
Structure of The Showroom
Trojanová, Lenka ; Röder, Václav (referee) ; Buchta, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of wooden substructures Motor Show. This constructionis located in South Moravia in Brno area. The dimensions are 33 mx 49 m and height from ground to top is 15.5 m The main structure is unbalanced arc of glued laminated timber, constant section height. Length of the arch is 39 meters. For the design of bearings, connections and contacts have been used steel elements. The concrete columns are stored using the arc tangent bearings. Front and side (east) side have a glass facade, glass is the antisun and security properties are opposite sides of the brickPOROTHERM 40th The structure was modeled in the SCIA ENGINEER 2011th The structural analysis was performed manually.
