Homeschooling - Primary Education of Children at Home

The topic of this thesis is home schooling of children on the first level of basic school in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of my thesis is dealing with the history, development and individual spheres of home schooling and I have tried to summarize here the opinions of both the supporters and opponents of home schooling by focusing on the following issues: the reasons for entering home schooling, socialization of a child in home schooling and its efficiency. In the practical part I identified the reasons why individual families enter home schooling based on structured interviews with five different families. Then I gathered information about how demanding the preparation for home schooling is as well as home schooling itself, including the negative aspects of home schooling. I have learned that the answers of the respondents are quite similar, I have not found any significant differences. Most opinions of the supporters of home schooling mentioned in the theoretical part have also been confirmed by the experience of the parents. This thesis should bring both basic information and personal experience of families mainly to parents who are considering home schooling.

The Analysis of current forms and methods of senior citizens' education

This thesis deals with the possibilities of education of elderly citizens in the Czech Republic. It compromises of a theoretical and an empirical part. In the theoretical part of the thesis the characteristics of gerontopedagogy and gerontodidactics were determined, and further the possibilities of education of seniors were outlined. The research in the empirical part of this thesis regards the adequateness of the offers of educational institutions for the elderly. The aim of the research is to determine whether the offer of the institutions in selected Prague districts, which currently provide learning opportunities for elderly, is sufficient for the purposes of their needs and interests. The ultimate research question is: What is the opinion of the respondents on the range of offers of the educational institutions? Further sub-questions were asked, regarding the number of educational institutions, the variety of activities offered, the lack of educational activities, promotion of the activities, the cooperation of the educational institutions with the social welfare department and with feedback from the elderly. Analysis of expenditures of households on culture focused on film industry

The aim of this work is a statistical analysis of expenditures of households on culture, description of current economical situation in the field of cinematography, characteristics of a cinemagoer and a projection of future developmental tendencies of cinemas. The first two chapters are dedicated to a description of the current state of the Czech cinematography and information about the evolution of the Czech film production. The third theoretical part describes basic statistical methods used in the practical part of this work. The fourth part is focused on a film viewer -cinemagoer using MML-TGI method and it also includes analysis of the dependence of expenditures of households for culture on the cinema ticket price. The fifth part is dedicated to a projection of the future development of the attendance and receipts of cinemas. The final chapter deals with the state of European cinematography.

Statistical analysis of the consumption of table wine in the Czech Republic with a specific focus on boxed wine

The aim of this work is a statistical analysis of the consumption of table wine in the Czech Republic with a specific focus on boxed wine. The work is divided into three parts. The first section describes the basic theoretical concepts and statistical methods used in the practical part of this work. The second part analyzes the respondents' answers to survey questions of MML-TGI (Market & Media & Lifestyle -- Target Group Index). The third part is focused on the analysis of time series - the evolution of prices of table wines. The conclusion summarizes the results of this work. Based on the polynomial regression approach the time series of average prices for individual types of table wine are aligned, and they are clearly shown in the graphs.
