Accidents prevention and safe movement on watercourses in the Czech Republic

This work focuses on the possibilities of accidents prevention and safe movement in the Czech water tourism in the comparison with the advanced preventive-safety system of tourist-mountaineering activities in Alpine countries. I am concerned with the level of Czech safety system by finding out the number of persons to which the accidents and drownings on our rivers refer to in this work. Further on I consider whether a specific type of publication is successful on the market of water tourism and canoeing area as a mean to increase the safety, and which other kinds of means are used to reduce the quantity of accidents. I summarize which subjects are interested in this issue and by which manner they participate in improving the conditions on the water in the main part of this work. I suggest the possibilities of increasing the safety on Czech watercourses in the conclusion. Following methods were used in this work: the method of induction on the basis of questionnaires, the method of processed results of dialogues with selected rental shops comparison and the descriptive statistical methods in the form of graphical analysis. The Differences in Using the Food Adjuncts During the Speed Canoeists' Training Process in the Czech Republic and in the World.

Title: The Differences in Using the Food Adjuncts During the Speed Canoeists' Training Process in the Czech Republic and in the World. Purposes: To compare the differences in using the food adjuncts between foreign and Czech top high-speed canoeists. Methods: Graphic comparison, based on data gained from questionnaires filled by foreign and Czech top high-speed canoeist kayakers (both males and females), was carried out. Results: Between the Czech and foreign high-speed canoeist we can not find any difference in selected types of food adjuncts. Both groups use vitamins, antioxidants (C, A, B, E, Q 10, multivitamins) and minerals (Mg, Ca, Zn, K, Fe, Na and multiminerals). Both Czech and foreign sportsmen drink sports drinks, saccharide-protein program drinks for quicker activation, matters for support achievement (creatine, L-carnitin and inosine), branched amino acids (BCAA) and stimulants (combination caffeine, guarane and taurine). We can see differences between foreign and Czech high-speed canoeist in choosing suitable type and dosage of particular supplements. While foreign high-speed canoeists usually consult specialists on nourishment or coaches, the Czechs mostly do not. All foreign informants claim to use food adjuncts in contrast to Czech informants. Current trends in teaching children skiing

Name of the essay: Current trends in teaching children skiing Aim of the essay: The aim of the study was to gather available instructional materials, documents relating to skiing preschool and young school children. Methods: This is a literature search based on an analysis of documents. Results: The sources obtained showed that ski lessons preschool age and school age can be done three different ways, namely: skiing under the guidance of parents, participation in the "schools" ski course or paid teaching in commercial ski school. When teaching skiing led by parents, parent participation benefit the most will appreciate the youngest children in full started. It is suitable for positive incentives to attract more skiing skills. The disadvantage of skiing with my parents is the possibility of non-professional teaching at a child that can lead to unmotivation. In the school skiteaching is the course led by school teacher, backed by a professional instructor, ensuring quality teaching methodical sequence. The advantage is that the teacher knows the children's long and can have individual access. Another advantage is that the ski skills to meet a group of unsportsmanlike children who would not come into contact with skiing. Difficulty of this course is to motivate unsportsmanlike children. Title: Evolution of alpine skis since 1990 until today Objectives: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to demonstrate the development of constructions, constructional element, geometry and the resulting characteristics of skis for recreational and sporting purposes. Methods: Completation of the bachelor thesis was done by combination of collection and analysis of data. Based on research, it is possible to access in the theoretical part what kinds of technology evolution the production of recreational and sport skis went through since 1990 until now. Results: Based on analysis of the available resources we were able to put together complete summary of importnat changes during the period under review. We described the evolution of construction, individual constructional elements, geometric changes and characteristics of skis from 1990 until now. Methods: Review study without any research. It is, therefore, a narrative (qualitative) review of relevant information from which conclusions are drawn without any quantitative manipulation or analysis. Results: Nitrate supplements can really be recommended to athletes as a suitable, allowed way to improve performance. However, in order to avoid unnecessary health problems, it is necessary to keep safe dosing or use purely natural substances. Title: Comparison of ski schools in Czech Republic. Objectives: Objective of this report is to use comparative analysis to find out how ski qualifications are being awarded in the individual ski schools. Methods: This report is based on document's research, author's own experience, correspondence and phone calls. These were all used and provided the basis for the method of comparison. Results: Based on the results, it can be said that in Czech Republic there are significant differences and gaps in the way ski qualifications are being awarded. Nutrition in bodybuilding and fitness

Title: The nutrition in bodybuilding and fitness Purposes: The aim of the Bachelor thesis was to reveal differences in nutrition of active competitors in bodybuilding and fitness versus recommendations of publicly available scientific literature about nutrient intake, use of dietary supplements and adherence to drinking in the bulk, cutting and final period of super-compensation. Methods: For the research, the qualitative method was chosen as a survey. The questionnaire is divided into questions about the different periods of preparation for the competition in bodybuilding and fitness. It contains a combination of open and closed questions. The selected set of examinations was a random sample of competitors in different categories of bodybuilding and fitness. Results: In the survey, it was found that competirors usually eat according to recommendations made available to the public. However, individual differences were also found in nutrition intake, drinking, use of dietary supplements in the bulk and cutting period. Were found the specific procedures in nutrition intake, drinking, use of dietary supplements and sweeteners in the period of super-compensation. Comparison of ski teaching plans and ski qualifications between Czech republic and New Zealand.

Title: Comparison of ski teaching plans and ski qualifications between Czech republic and New Zealand. Objectives: Main objective of this thesis is the comparison of lesson plans and qualifications between the Czech Republic and New Zealand. As a basic educational program in the Czech Republic was chosen Czech ski school. Methods: This theoretical work processes, sorts and critically analyzing the survey findings on the current topic. Information needed for this work were obtained in several ways. It was a content analysis of documents, observation and experience. Results: After comparing Czech and New Zealand methodology of teaching skiing were not found distinct differences, they appeared in a comparison of the requirements for obtaining the qualifications of the same level - age, length of course and obtained permission to teach.
