Design of forging line
Pazour, Jiří ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis is focused on designing of automated workplace meant for production of gear made of steel 11 523 with yearly production of 500 000 pieces. After considering all of the input data, it was decided to use die forging. A forging with flash was designed from the original shape of the gear. Forging force was calculated, and its value is 25,08 MN. Press LZK 4000 B was chosen for such force and is part of a forging line. Another machinery are induction heater KSO 1200/1,2-C40, trimming press LDO 500 A/S and lubricant mixing and supply system DAG 183 BMS. The choice of presses was justified by calculated forces. Industrial robots IRB 6660 and conveyors are providing material handling. Thesis contains two possible layouts, one with a square area of 400 m2 and another with a rectangular area of 420 m2. At the end was calculated production time of a piece. If robot were moving at 1 ms-1, production of one piece would take 25,9 s and for 2 ms-1 it would take 18,2 s.
Design production of sink
Pecha, Oldřich ; Dvořák, Milan (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
Thesis submits concept of the sink fabrication technology where circular sink is made from rustproof austenitic steel 1.4301 (X5CrNi 18-10) using technology of conventional deep drawing without reducing wall’s thickness. Hydraulic press YL32 - 400 with nominal force 400 kN has been chosen as the production machine. Drawing tool with holder was designed to be used for this technology and its drawing documentation had been enclosed in this thesis. Size of the production series was set for 20 000 products annually. Control simulation of the drawing process has proven that designed component can be made and that computations are correct. Economic and technological estimation was performed which resulted in price being set for 555 czech crowns per piece. After manufacturing first 7 447 products the manufacturing process will become economically profitable.
Issues of drop forging on presses
Jelínek, Tomáš ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the issue of drop forging on presses. The power forming machines works with calm pressure of the forging part. Their main disadvantage is the forging of the slag layer into the product. Hydraulic and mechanical presses are used for drop forging. This technology is mainly used in series production in most industries. To achieve a quality forging is necessary proper heating of the semi-finished product to the forging temperature. This reduces deformation resistance, tool wear and the required forming force The design of the forging is based on the drawing documentation of the required part. The shape of the product is driving for the dividing plane, the size of the stock, the permissible geometry deviations and tolerances. It is also necessary to take into account the flash groove, the clamping of the dies and the type of ejector. There are many companies in the market that deal with die forging. For clarity, several of them are listed, with an overview of the machine and production portfolio.
Design of crane hook production
Horák, Tomáš ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the production of a crane hook made of C45 steel. After evaluating suitable technologies, die forging on a mechanical press was chosen. Based on the analysis of technological technology, the shape of the part was modified and all necessary additions and limit deviations of forging dimensions were determined. The semi-finished product with a diameter of 65 mm and a length of 380 mm will be formed on a cross wedge rolling mill, bent on a separate press and subsequently forged. The crank forging press LZK 3150 B from the company ŠMERAL Brno a. S., With a nominal forming force of 31.5 MN, was chosen from the calculated forming force. The construction of the dies is based on the ČSN 22 8306 standard and they are made of 19,552 steel with subsequent heat treatment.
A design of the die for creation of conic press in the austhenitic inox
Šlosr, Michal ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis deals with a design of the tool that creates the conic press in the austhenitic inox 17 240 (X5CrNi18-10). In the first part are described the possible production technologies with a focus of non rigid tool. For the realization is chosen the Guerin process. The rigid tool is replaced by non rigid tool (rubber / polyurethane). In a final part is performed an evaluation of the influence of non rigid tool, lubricants and venting.
Production of supporting plate
Filip, Jiří ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis presents a proposal of technology for production of supporting plate, which is a top part of a service trolley, serving for manipulation with switch of high voltage. The supporting plate is manufactured of low carbon, deep drawing steel DX51D+ZM thickness 2 mm and quality according to EN 10346. Annual serie was set for 200 pieces. In evaluation of production possibilities were chosen technologies of punching and bending. There was designed unfolded shape of the sheet metal with dimensions 1068 x 900 mm and created cutting plan. As was found, from one metal board is possible to cut out 2 pieces of the supporting plate, while 70% of material use. In the next step, punching tools were chosen and manufacturing process was made. The highest achieved cutting force was 122,8 kN. The chosen machine is hydraulic CNC press TruPunch 5000. For bending there was created a bending plan, according to which bends will be made in thirteen steps. Used bending tools are punch OW209/S and two types of matrix EV005 + FWZ and EV006 + FWZ. Maximal achieved bending force is, according to the calculation, 259,8 kN. Bending operations will be made on CNC press TruBend 5130. In a technical and economical evaluation was determined cost for the material, which is 57 337,5 Kč.
The manufacturing of electromotor covering
Stejskal, Luboš ; Špaček, Jindřich (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This project has been presented for the bachalor branch of study, B2307, it shows the proposal of technological and production process for deep drawn parts. They are produced from the steel (11305). Due to the production volume of 100.000 pieces per year, it was proposed to implement the production process. It basis of the literature study which describes the potential pitfalls of deep drawn technology. After control a technological calculations it was decide to choose the stamping machine CTC 250 (manufactured by ŽĎAS, a.s.).The deep drawn tool has been designed in order to use the maximum capabilities of this stamping machine, specially the upper ejector and the lower holding device.

Manufacturing of mirrors clamp
Večeřa, Jaromír ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis presents a proposal for manufacturing of a mirror clamp, used for wall mounting. The clamp is made of stainless steel 1.4301 with a thickness of 1 mm. Manufacture series produces 40,000 pcs/year. After considering the individual manufacturing options, production in the combined process tool was chosen. The manufacture takes place in five steps, the utilization of the material is 84.1 %. This was completely proved by technological, design and control calculations. According to these calculations, a tool was designed with all of the technical documentation. Due to the forming force of 180 kN and the work of 113 kJ, the eccentric press T-30 CE from the company SanGiacomo Presse was chosen.
Longitudinal rolling
Sigmund, Lukáš ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis describes technology of hot-rolled profiles. It defines the conditions which must be fulfilled for successful process of rolling. Further is described process of producing a specific special profile, which is used as an intermediate for making car door hinge. The profile is made of structural steel S355J2. It is manufactured by VÚHŽ a.s., which uses reverse duo rolling stand with special work rolls. The thesis evaluates the usability, advantages, disadvantages and mechanical properties that are obtained after forming at high temperature.
