Radovnický, Jiří ; Fedák, Josef (advisor) ; Petr, Miroslav (referee)
Titel: The comparative study of predication equations for value calculation 1-RM at the squat and the dead lift. Aim: To evaluate the most exact equation for the calculation 1-RM on the basis of comparation of extracted data with predication equations at the squat and the dead lift. Research complex: The research complex is created by the soldiers of Army of Czech Republic. They are the men at the age from 20 to 40 with health classification A. Used methods: The comparative method with the using of experimental testing. Results: By the mutual comparation of data we have found out, that the most exact predication equation for the calculation 1-RM in a squat or in a dead lift is from the authors O'Conner et al. Squat was predicted with correlation coefficient r = 0.975 and deadlift with a value of r = 0.951. Keywords: sqaut, dead lift, 1-RM, prediction equation, correlation coefficient.

Title: Nutrition habits of Czech athletes with focus on nutrition supplements use. Objectives: The aim of this work is to map the eating habits and nutrition supplements use by athletes in the Czech Republic. Methods: In this work, we have used the method of public inquiry. The inquiry was distributed over many sport centres and facilities around the Czech Republic. 1373 inquiries were opened and 1064 of them returned filled in. The revision of the returned inquiries with sorting out only properly filled in ones, which provided the required information for further analysis, followed subsequently. There were 1027 inquiries from athletes from 75 cities of the Czech Republic used. 752 men and 275 women (age 7 to 54 years) from sports: athletics, basketball, football, handball, judo, swimming, taekwondo, triathlon and volleyball have participated the survey. Results: We found out, that approximately 79 % of Czech athletes do care about their nutrition and keep to the consummation of 4 to 6 meals per day. Semi - occasionally people choose the second dinner as a meal in their regime, only 30 % of respondents abide to this. Various "dietary programmes" were at some time in life tried mostly by women, where the frequency rises with the age. However, only around 26 % of the athletes have ever tried one of...
The noise intensity in commercial aerobic classes in relation to hygienic standards
Kleinová, Nikola ; Šteffl, Michal (advisor) ; Petr, Miroslav (referee)
Links: Aerobic motion activity as it is offered in commercial aerobic classes is generally considered to be beneficial for the motion apparatus, and for one's overall health. Nevertheless, loud music accompanying the exercise can rather cause damage to one's health. Goals: The main scope of my thesis is to measure the noise intensity in commercial aerobic classes and to verify whether the noise does not exceed the limits permitted by hygienic standards. Methods: In my thesis I used a specific method for determination of the noise intensity in the aerobic class space. I opted for the noise level according to EPA standards ranging between 70 and 80 dB as the basic constant. The measurement itself took place after calibration in eleven measured spots in a fitness centre located in České Budějovice. The measured spots were established in the space according to the placement of the sound apparatus and the measurement itself took place in the height of the sound apparatus of a fitness centre client. The measured values were further processed into descriptive graphs and all outcomes were further processed using statistical methods in order to verify the measurement validity according to statistical significance. Results: On the basis of the performed measurement, data processing and the following...
The evaluation of methodology on pull up test as a test of maximum strength of Czech soldiars
Kouřil, František ; Šťastný, Petr (advisor) ; Petr, Miroslav (referee)
Titel: The evaluation of different test protocol of pull up exercise as a maximum strenth test in Czech Republic soldiers Goals: The aim of this study is to compare different methodological ways during pull up exercise as a test of uper externities and back maximum strenght. And to assesed which load to use in case of test reason. Ant find out, what influence has the soldiers equipment on strenght test. Method: The study is based on an experiment consisting in the performance of different testing protocols, the same group of probands and subsequent comparison probands ordinal position in selected test methodologies. Selected tests, the maximum number of pull-ups with their own weight, the maximum number of pull-ups with essential military equipment (15 kg), the maximum number of pull-ups with 40% of your own body weight, the maximum load lifted in pull up excercise and the absolute pull up, which was calculated on the maximum load lifted . Use was basic statistics and serial correlation by Kendall correlation coefficient. Results: Test with military equipment (load weighing 15 kg) correlated with the test pull up with its own body weight value τr = 0.83 for statistical significance level α = 0.05. Test the pull up with 40% correlated with test pull up with their own body weight value τr = 0.72, for...
