Manufacturing of chain wheel for mountain bike

HABR Stanislav: Manufacturing of chain wheel for mountain bike The goal is to design components of chain wheel for mountain bike. It will be made of structural steel. The variant was chosen the most optimal production through precise cutting edge of pushing the system hard punch tool – movable retainer. According to the calculations and dimensions were selected from company press Feintool. The economic evaluation is the annual dose 600000 pcs fixed price of one component of 11,88 CZK.
Labour protection of forming machines

This bachelor thesis presents an overview of the principles of safe work in forming operations. There are listed the basic principles of safety of persons who have responsibility for forming machines, or machinery coming into contact. Further bachelor thesis includes a description of the features of the forming machines and refers to the personal protective equipment.
Production concept of bracket

The thesis deals with the production concept of the bracket for fixing the drying frame. The component is made of 11 343 steel. The semi-finished product is galvanized sheet with 2 mm thickness. With regard to the required quality of the component and the yearly production quantity (40,000 pieces), a new production technology was chosen based on a literary study by means of conventional shearing in a tool, followed by bending on a press brake. For the selected technologies, technological calculations and a cutting tool were designed, which are dealt with in the drawing documentation. The work also includes technical-economic evalua-tion of the proposed production method.

The thesis is primarily focused on theoretical processing shot peening technology, which belongs among the finishing operations using plastic deformation. The thesis is primary focused on describing basic principle of shot peening, sorting shot peening machines and abrasives, the principle of optimization of controlled shot peening and the related tests. The document also contains a methodology of creating educational material for operators of shot peening machine.
Manufacturing of ignition cover pad

The thesis solves the design of the technology of production of the ignition cover pad made of steel 11 321 with a thickness of 1 mm with zinc surface treatment. It serves as part of the motorcycle engine sealing system. The part is rotating in shape with a diameter of 35 mm and consists of a central extrusion and a hole. The size of the series is 25,000 pieces per year. Production by a progressive compound tool from a coil with dimensions of 1200 x 500 mm is chosen. 3 forming operations with eating between steps are selected, which are implemented by cutting and embossing technologies. The necessary forming work of 476 kJ and the force of 267 kN are determined, according to which the PRESSIX CNV4 eccentric press is chosen. The machine is introduced into the automated Shungdar SJD and SJK production line, which consists of a straightener, unwinder and feeder.
Expanding of tube ends

The project is elaborated within frame of bachelor´s studies of branch B2341-3. The project is submitting a summary of methods used for expanding of tube ends. In the first part on the basis of the studies of this problem there was created a set of methods which are used for expanding of tube ends. These methods are divided into three elementary parts according to the technology of production. Next part of this project describes modern methods in use. It is namely expanding of tube ends by radial jaws and method of expanded and towards the end renarrowing figures on the tube ends. In conclusion of this thesis there is treatise on quality checking of expanded tube ends and leakage test.
The Tools and Equipment for a Bending of Tubes

The bachelor thesis is aimed to make a general overview of used tools and equipment for a bending of tubes. On the basis of literary evidence the list of basic methods used in bending tubes was created. By conducting a survey in bending tubes producers manufacturing programs, various principles of bending tubes were described, which are supplemented with picture documentation. To each method there were mentioned some of the OEMs. Accompanying pictures describe the construction of individual machines and used tools and equipment.
High energy rate forming

The thesis elaborated in frame of bachelor studies represents literary studies about current production methods applying high energy rate forming. The thesis also presents modern methods and manufacturing processes of methods, e.g. explosive forming, electrohydraulic forming and magneto-impulsive forming, with examples of manufactured components including image documentation and description of their advantages and disadvantages when used in practice.
Conditions of failures generation when bending profiled tubes

The thesis describes the knowledge from a round tube bending technology, as a description of conventional and unconventional devices. There are technological parameters in relation to the creation of defects, and equations for determining the bending moment. These knowledge has been generalized and applied to solution the changes of cross-section shape and thickness in the bending of square cross-section. The solution was implemented to specific component (20x2 mm steel tube with two successive radii R57,2 and R131,5). The results of experiments shows that the material is almost rigid-perfectly plastic, in the most stressed areas has a sufficient supply of material formability. Thickness measurement was applied to calculate the approximate center of gravity changes. This shows a shift of 1.4 mm, which is negligible value for the pure bending. The end of the thesis summarizes the deficiencies of current manufacturing technology, which used mandrel is inadequate, wrong located and poor lubrication.
