Presidential candidates of Lutte Ouvriére party in the presidential elections 2007-2017
Benová, Adriana ; Perottino, Michel (advisor) ; Šárovec, Daniel (referee)
(in English): The bachelor thesis deals with the development of the extreme left in France focusing on the Trotskyist Workers' Struggle (Lutte ouvrière, LO) and its candidates in the 2007-2017 presidential election. The historical outline of the extreme left dates back to 1905, but significant events are related to the figure of Lev Davidovich Trotsky and his Fourth International. Trotskyism in France influenced many extreme left-wing political parties, but the specificity of the Workers' Struggle lies in the separation of this party from the main Trotskyist movement and the decision not to become a part of Trotsky Forth International. The Trotskyist groups were at the forefront of the social riots in 1968, when civil dissatisfaction escalated. In addition to the historical development of the extreme left in France, the work also sought to analyse the presidential candidates Arlette Laguiller and Nathalie Arthaud in the years 2007-2017 to answer the question of how this extreme left-wing trotskyist party Workers' Struggle is capable to nominate a candidate for the presidential election since 1974.

Neugebauerová, Aneta ; Perottino, Michel (advisor) ; Charvát, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with the analysis of KDU-ČSL during the period from 2009 - 2013, when for the first time since its formation in 1919 this political party failed to obtain representation in the lower chamber of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. This representation was re-established in 2013, which is also a very unique phenomenon. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the development and changes within KDU-ČSL during this period using the official party documents and standardized interviews with selected members of KDU- ČSL. This information will allow me to come to a thought-out conclusion whether this period can be characterized as a crisis or not.
Analysis of the political party NEOS
Hainz, Philip Armin ; Brunclík, Miloš (advisor) ; Perottino, Michel (referee)
The NEOS is a new political party that entered political system of Austria in 2013. It has succeeded in entering the lower house of parliament, elections to European Parliament and some provincial elections. The party created its party institutions, gained a base of members and entered into the general consciousness of voters. Its position and the evolution of its position in the future are the most important questions of this thesis. Typologically, we could call it a political party of new kind. NEOSs' way of functioning and code of rules are interesting. Its structure and way of acting is quite different comparing it to longer established parties in Austria. The party joined Austrian political system at the moment when it was undergoing the greatest changes since 1945. Thus it should be matter of interest to study this political party.

French Socialist Party Split - idealism X realism
Elbel, Ondřej ; Perottino, Michel (advisor) ; Brunclík, Miloš (referee)
This work aims to analyze a crisis in French Socialist party between 2016-2018. It was an era of a quite deep confusion in the French socialist movement. The party then failed to preserve its own unity and split into several smaller groups. This work tries to identify some reasons of this division. Firstly, it can be useful to outline a history of the French Socialist party. In concordance with Angelo Panebianco and his concept of genetic code of political parties, this text will be focused on the circumstances of the Socialist party's origins in 1905. Afterwards, we will be able to identify several consequences of this process. Moreover, the special emphasis is laid on a conflict amid supporters of pragmatic or ideological policy in Socialist party. This timeline will be enriched by a systematic overview of the Socialist party's structure. That chapter will tend to demonstrate especially how much the concept of Socialist party membership evolved in last 40 years and what consequences it has. Finally, the last part of this work looks at the condition of the Socialist party amid 2016-2018 using the conclusions of previous chapters.
