Manifestation of Chinese Philosophy in the Martial Arts of Wushu

Title: Manifestation of Chinese Philosophy in the Martial Arts of Wushu Objectives: The objective of this thesis is to present a picture of the Chinese martial arts of wushu with the emphasis put in particular on its relation to the Chinese philosophy. In the first part, we will introduce wushu with respect to its historical development, then, we will look into its history and we will refer to the fundamental characteristics of the Chinese way of thinking. In the second part of the thesis, we will describe the Chinese philosophy within the context of sports schools, health-physical training institutes and traditional schools of wushu in contemporary China. Further, we will express the differencies in the perception of wushu from the viewpoint of the society and of an individual in the Czech Republic and the Chinese Republic, respectively. Weighted voting games and indexes of power

This thesis is an introducion to the theory of coalition games intended for readers oriented on formal disciplines (logic, mathematic, game theory) as well as on humanities (political science and sociology). Basic de nitions, characterization of voting systems, definition of weighted and unweighted voting systems are introduced. The next part of the thesis focuses on indexes of power (Shapley-Shubik, Banzhaf, Johnston, Deegan-Packel). The last part of thesis addresses the application indexes of power. Comparisons of indexes of the EU countries in decision-making proccesses of the Council of the European Union in accordance with the Treaty of Nice and the Treaty of Lisbon are presented.

Life style of middle school students in the city of Most in relation to the socio-economic status of their parents

Abstract Title: The lifestyle of middle-school students in the city of Most, in relation to the socio- economic status of their parents. Goal: Ascertaining, in the city of Most, the connection between parents' socio-economic status and their children's lifestyle, i.e. ascertaining whether parents' position in social strata creates a difference in the lifestyles of children from individual classes. Method: Explorative method of empirical research. The research technique chosen was to utilize questionnaires. The questionnaires were not standardized. Results: The symbolic borders between lifestyles of middle-school students from various social classes in the city of Most are diffuse and not strictly defined. Individuals whose parents have differing socio-economic statuses have lifestyles which resemble each other. Keywords: Lifestyle, socio-economic status, family, vertical stratification.

The influence of education according to working exercises of hard weakeyed disabled

Title: Work-preparation of hard visually impaired students in the special second schools. Objective: To give a comprehensive summary of the questions arising in employment of visually disabled persons in Czech republic, and in their preparation for work. Through a method of questionnaires investigate the quality of work-preparations in the special second schools in Czechrep. Method: The method in this research is questioning through questionnaires made for five special second schools for visually impaired in Czech rep. A specific questionnaire is created for the headmaster, educational adviser, teachers and for the students in the second half of their study. Results: This reports intention is to present the reader with all the relevant and useful information about the employment problem of visually disabled persons in Czech republic. The pieces of information given are actual responses to the presented situation. It was discovered that the level of preparation visually impaired gets in the special schools is good. The fact is that students are well prepared in light of subsequent integration into the society. Burnout Syndrome in Help Professionals at the Geriatric Ward.

Název: Syndrom vyhoření u pomáhajících profesí na oddělení geriatrie. Syndrome burnout at the helping profession in the geriatrie ward Cíle práce: Cílem diplomové práce bylo zmapovat syndrom vyhoření u pomáhajících profesí v oblasti ústavní péče o seniory. Dále navrhnout projekt pro podporu prevence a rozvoj programů supervize pro pomáhající profese v oblasti geriatrické péče. Metoda: Průzkum byl proveden pomocí dvou standardizovaných dotazníků a závěrečného strukturovaného rozhovoru v celkovém objemu 50 dotazovaných respondentů pracujících na oddělení geriatrie. K vyhodnocení dat byl zvolen kvantitativní přístup. Mezi použité dotazníky patří dotazm'k Maslah Burnout Inventory (MBI) autorky Christina Maslach k vyhodnocení emocionálního vyčerpání, depersonalizace a osobní výkonnosti. Dále dotazník Burnout Measure (BM) autorky Ayala Pines k vyhodnocení celkového skóre vyhoření. Výsledky: Provedená analýza výsledků potvrzuje předpoklad, že výskyt syndromu vyhoření je stále aktuální téma a nastavení správné a účinné prevence je nezbytné. Surveying of Socially Negative Phenomena at Schools - Researching of Bullying and Child Aggression by Means of Sociometric-rating and D-1 Questionnaires

Název: Mapovánísociálně negativníchjevů ve školách - '!jišťování výskytu šikany a dětské agrese pomocísociometricko-ratingového dotazníku a dotazníku D-1 Surveying ofsocially negative phenomena at schools - researching ofbullying and child aggression with the help ofthe sociometric-rating questionnaire and D-1 questionnaire Cíle práce: Cílem diplomové práce bylo shrnout informace z oblasti problematiky šikany a dětské agrese, teoreticky vymezit jednotlivé pojmy, možnosti vyšetřování, léčby a intervence. Dále představit některé sociometrické metody, za pomoci kterých je možné mapovat výskyt šikany. Vyhodnotit data konkrétního šetření. Vytvořit vhodný a ucelený projekt pro práci preventistů na základních i středních školách. Metoda: Průzkum byl proveden v jedné ze tříd osmiletého gymnázia. Věk respondentů se pohyboval mezi 14 - 15 lety. K mapování těchto sociálně negativních jevů byl použit standardizovaný sociometricko-ratingový dotazník SORAD (Hrabal, 1979) a další diagnostická metoda Dotazník D-1 (Doležel, 2003). Protože obě sociometrické metody měří stejné nebo podobné teoretické koncepty, měly by i výsledky obou dotazníků vycházet stejně či podobně. Logical Argumentation among Agents

Cognition of an individual is a dynamic process, shaped not only by his contact with 'inanimate' nature, but mainly by his interaction with other cognizing beings. This interaction takes place in language and often takes form of a dialogue, whose one particular form is argumentation (similar forms of dialogue being explanation, persuasion, negotiation etc.). Cognizing being (agent) confronts his beliefs and their justification with those of another agent in argumentation. There are several mathematical models for argumentation, describing rules of its evaluation and processing. We are mainly concerned with argumentation based on logical arguments, where claim logically follows from the premises.
