I/O Card Controlled by SMS
Bachtík, Martin ; Pavelka, Ondřej (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is design and implementation of a universal device with input-output character. The device detects incitations on few inputs and sets few outputs. The user controls the device via SMS or short multiple dialling. The device interacts with the user via LED diodes, SMS or hort multiple dialing.
Microprocessor-controlled autonomous source of constant current and voltage
Kováč, Marek ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
The task of bachelor thesis is proposal of switching source for the construction of leadacid battery charger 6/12V controlled by microprocessor. It is based on buck converter of voltage. The first part presents the activity of converter and properties of lead-acid batteries, followed by a proposal of converter for a given application. The second part describes a criteria for selection of individual components and dimensioning them. The result of this thesis is simulation of converter in PC program Micro-Cap 9, along with the necessary calculations, a proposal of circuit with the calculation of inductor and methods of measurement of output quantities. Finally, is realized circuit board with a couple measurements and control program for the microcontroller. The entire proposal is focused to achieving the greatest simplicity of facility and efficiency and quality of charging accumulators together at low cost to the product.
Power flash battery unit for a photo
Slavíček, Tomáš ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
In the bachelor thesis deals with the draft of the flash unit to take photos with a maximum output of 400Ws. Draft flash unit includes regulation of maximum output power up to 12.5 Ws. The flash unit is powered from the battery. Bachelor thesis includes a charging circuit. As the lamp using the lamp IFK - 120 with a maximum output of 120Ws. For maximum performance is parallel connection of four of these lamps.
Internet system for sending news by e-mail
Horák, Michael ; Strašil, Ivo (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis deals with project lay-out and realization of the internet system dedicated to sending newsletters via e-mail. It especially aims at working with contacts and putting them in groups, editation of pre-prepared texts and sending the e-mails themselves. In the theoretical part, there’s described main traits of PHP language. There’s also described methods of creating the web forms, handing over their inputs and processing of that data. Next, there’s closer look on the PHP functions, especially for text processing, programming structures and conditions. Other functions, that can be found in this thesis described, are meant for sending the e-mails, creating hashs and managing sessions. In practical part, the problems are described generally. In the next part of a practical realization, this methods are looked closer upon and described more thoroughly. Also there’s defined how does the scripts work and which functions are used to make it work.
Advanced Stochastic Programming Models in Power Engineering
Pavelka, Ondřej ; Štětina, Josef (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis applies stochastic optimization in the field of the power engineering. In the thesis first part, the needed mathematical theory is described, specifically mathematical, linear, nonlinear, integer and stochastic programming. The second part deals with the heating plant, in which heat is generated by gas and biomass boilers. The aim of this thesis is to design a model for the schedule planning of these boilers. The model is based on two stage stochastic programming with scenario approach. Then the model is solved by GAMS software. In the final part of the text, the focus is on the model sensitivity analysis and suggestions for future improvement.
Industrial programmer Atmel AVR microcontrollers
Gryžboň, Jan ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and implement an industrial programmer AVR microcontrollers from Atmel. The first section provides the theoretical knowledge of the AVR microcontroller. Furthermore, comparison of methods for programming the microcontroller and the selected method is an analysis of the speed of programming. The following is the entire design of industrial programmer which is implemented in the programming environment Eagle. In the penultimate part of the proposal is designed PCB. The final section is devoted to the revival of the programmer and programming.
Emulator of 3.5" diskette drive using RS232 and SD memory card
Sedláček, David ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of the 3,5" floppy drive emulator with ATMEGA microprocessor unit. The emulator has been designed according to the principles of designing electronic devices, there is also object-control application and firmware for a microcontroller, which supports MFM coding. The thesis also lists all the formats of data stored or transmitted along with some flowcharts.
Digital wireless communication unit for transmission of audio signal
Stránský, Patrik ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
Goal of this diploma thesis is to bring a design and create two cordless communication units and choose suitable factory produced wireless module. Selection depends on parametrs such as bit rate, transmitting power, price, etc. as well as coding and securing signal. Signal is transferred using digital code. The thesis also describes the design, construction of communication units and measurements of their parameters.
Interface for diagnostic busbar (SMBus/12C) for accumulators
Pintér, Zoltán ; Strašil, Ivo (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
The first chapter of the master´s thesis deals with the analysis of problems indesigning of devices, which include individual steps of the designing of the device and the choice of the most suitable option. It deals with the analysis of the proposed assignment and requirements for this device, analysis of battery management chip that the device should be able to communicate with, analysis of the I2C/SMBus communication protocol which is used for communication between the device with the battery management chips and possibilities of communication of the device with computer. The second chapter deals with the communications via USB bus and the description of this communication. The next step is dedicated to the selection of a programmable microprocessor Atmel AT90USB1287, describes his pin configuration, the possibilities, describes the way of USB interface connection, the method of the I2C/SMBus interface connection and its protection. In the last part of the this chapter the thesis describes Atmel microcontroller programming, specifically describes how to program I2C/SMBus communication, USB communication and how to write a program to the microprocessor. The third chapter of the thesis deals with the design of a single device, and components like a scheme of the connection and the concept of functional realization of the communication with device. The fourth chapter deals with the development of the device itself. Describes the parts of final involvement and describes the parts of the final program for microprocessor, such as communication with SMBus device and communication through the USB bus. The fifth chapter is devoted to the development of communication applications in Java. This section describes the different elements of applications such as communication with USB devices, data storage and open for viewing. The last chapter presents the final device and the final communication application.
