Johann Nepomuk von Harrach (1828-1909) was a Czech aristocrat remarkable for his involvement in culture, industry and politics. The aim of this thesis is to clearly describe Johann Nepomuk von Harrach and his relationship with the Czech artist. The thesis mainly analyses the correspondence between Johann Nepomuk von Harrach and Czech architect and patron Josef Hlávka and correspondence with the poet, and tutor of Nepomuk's son, Julius Zeyer. To illustrate the relationship and styles of communication of von Harrach more clearly, the thesis analyses the correspondence between Otto von Harrach, the son of Johann Nepomuk, and Julius Zeyer. The basis of the thesis is correspondence stored in the Literární archiv Památníku národního písemnictví. The subject of research is also count Harrach's communication strategy, which shows the difference between communication with a patron and with a poet. The end of World War II in Prachatice District

The bachelor's thesis entitled The End of the Second World War in Prachatice Region attempts to use archival sources and other available literature to process the last months of the end of the Second World War in this South Bohemian town. Although it is a topic of the recent past, there are not many sources of knowledge in the case of Prachatice. The introductory part includes a brief description of Prachatice and its history, followed by the development from 1938 to the end of 1944. In other parts, he deals with the events of the first four months of 1945, when the Revolutionary National Committee was formed, refugee transports passed through Prachatice, the railway station was attacked by American pilots, and the German city leadership decided whether the city would defend itself against the incoming American army. The key part is the events in May 1945, when the city was liberated. Also mentioned is task 3. U.S. Army, which liberated Prachatice. The final chapters are devoted to the post-war operation of the American army in this region and the post-war removal of the Germans from Prachatick. The main source was SOkA in Prachatice, which provided the most important sources for writing the thesis. The Use of Children's and Young Adult Literature in History teaching in elementary school.

The submitteddiploma theses examines the possibilities of using children's and young adult literature in teaching History and considers its potential to fulfil goals of History class. Its theoretical part is devotedto currant discussiononthese goals and offers views of Czech and foreignexperts.An important part is examinationof existingmethodologies of workingwith fiction and consideration consider the benefits and risks that this medium offers. These lessons were tested in primary schools and based on this experience, possible alternations to the program were added. Use of audiovisual Equipment, Museum Pedagogy and Literature in the Teaching of Geography

His master's thesis I've divided into three parts, theoretical, practical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with the teaching of geography, educational technology and teaching aids, museum pedagogy, individual educational specificities of schools and museums and how should cooperation look like, what role in it plays the personality of the museum educator and what it is for a school and a museum benefit. And last but not least the literature, which is in my opinion an important element in the teaching of geography. In the practical part, I have described a realization of a project in which it is used didactic technology, a collaboration with the museum and work with literature. The empirical part is focused on research in basic schools in the field of educational technology. The key concepts on which the research is based, such as: modern didactic techniques, working with modern educational technology, the perception of educational technology as a means to the realization of the teaching.
End of the Second World War in Mirovicko

The diploma thesis deals with everyday life of the people at Mirovicko during years 1938 - 1945 with aim to a cover end of the Second World War. It is divided in three main parts. The beginning section describes work methodology and choice of sources. The following section covers period of the protectorate at Mirovicko. In these chapters there are described chronologically the chosen changes and new things in different spheres of the human lives that affected residents of Mirovicko in an each war years. The thesis regards the culture, political, resistance, federal and school life. The last part is dedicated to end of Second World War at Mirovicko. Also there are described all war events during the May revolutionary days in Mirovice. The end of this chapter mentions some of the war years consequences and outlines development of the situation after 13. May 1945 in Mirovice. ,,Šlápoty" 1967 - 1968: Sport Expedition as Spontaneous Decision or Strategy of Leaving the Czechoslovakia?

Present bachelor thesis deals with walk expedition of four mountaineers into Mexico City where XIX. Olympic games in 1968 took place. The thesis is divided into two parts. First part deals with social-historic context of 1960s in Czechoslovakia (reform movement, diplomatic relations, travelling conditions). Second part follows the general context and deals with analysis and interpretation of the expedition "Šlápoty". The thesis makes use of the period literature and the authentic personal sources (travelogues, interviews with contemporary witnesses, diary notes). The thesis aims at possibilities, conditions and way of travelling in 1960s. Based on the expedition "Šlápoty" it looks for the answer whether such expedition may be the result of systematic strategy to travel abroad.

Význam tisku jako pramene a jako fenoménu spoluvytvářejícího dějinný vývoj je jednoznačně uznáván. Ve vývoji české žurnalistiky je počátečním mezníkem rok 1719, kdy začaly v Praze vycházet první české periodické noviny. Ze skromných začátků se v období národního obrození vyvíjejí noviny s buditelskými, osvícenskými a vzdělavatelskými cíli. Po zavedení ústavnosti v 60. letech 19. století se z nich stávají skutečné politické orgány, které jsou mluvčím již cílevědomé české buržoazie a jejich jazykových, národních a státoprávních nároků. Českou žurnalistiku pak po několika desetiletí představují mladočeské a staročeské listy. Po pádu punktací se žurnalistika dále diferencuje. S novými politickými stranami vznikají i nové politické noviny, vedle kvantity se mění i kvalita žurnalistiky.
