The Use of Monetary Policy in the Simulator of Economic Instruments
PŘIBYL, Matěj
This thesis describes monetary policy and the use of its instruments in the modern economy. Monetary policy is a set of tools used by a nation's central bank to control the overall money supply and promote economic growth and employ strategies. The tools used and described in this thesis are for example, open market operations, discount rate and reserve requirements. These tools are used as a solution to random events that happen in a nation's economy. All these events are contained in a script which describes and suggests correct economic instruments to use. The main objective of this thesis is implementing the script into a diagram. The diagram also contains various choices and options to resolve events contained in this diagram. For example, rising inflation is dealt with by increasing interest rates. The output of the thesis will help banks to resolve various economic events and can also be used as a tool to educate students in economy oriented schools.
Rescue of people in open and frozen water for paramedics according to the methodoogy of the Water Rescue Service of Czech Red Cross.
PŘIBYL, Michal
The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to compare the preparation, procedures and equipment of the Water Rescue Service of the Czech Red Cross and units of the Fire Rescue Service when rescuing people in open and frozen water and to map the usability of the methodology for crews of the Medical Rescue Service in practical conditions. To this end, two research questions VO1 were set: "What is the preparation, procedures and equipment for rescuing people from open and frozen water according to the current methodology of the Water Rescue Service of the Czech Red Cross and units of the Fire Rescue Service?". and VO2: "What is the applicability of the methodology and processed procedures of the Water Rescue Service of the Czech Red Cross and units of the fire rescue service for paramedics?" The research part was implemented in the form of a qualitative research investigation using the semi-structured interview technique. The interviews were conducted on the basis of pre-prepared questions, in which representatives of the CČK Water Rescue Service and a unit of the Fire Rescue Service took part. The research group was made up of 5 respondents representing the ČČk Water Rescue Service and the Fire Rescue Service. The interviews took place after consent was given within the framework of the audio recording, ensuring anonymity and all information about this research work. They were then transcribed in writing. The results of the research investigation were formulated using the method of coding using the technique, "pencil and paper". The results of the objectives were mapped into 3 categories and subsequent subcategories. The output of this bachelor's thesis is a recommendation for paramedics covering the issue of drowning and rescuing an individual from ice and water, in a situation where there could be a delay in the time interval of the arrival of the components of the Integrated Rescue System of the Water Rescue Service and the Fire Rescue Service at the scene of intervention.
Relationship of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia towards the Catholic Church and Religion during the First Czechoslovak Republic
Přibyl, Michal ; Šmíd, Marek (advisor) ; Petráček, Tomáš (referee)
Relationship of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia to catholic church in the period of the First Czechoslovak Republic The bachelor thesis analyzes the relationship of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia to religion and churches in the period of the First Czechoslovak Republic. It is based on an analysis of the contemporary party press through which the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia disseminated its views and informed the Czechoslovak public about its political actions. In particular, the author seeks to establish whether the persecution of the Church that occurred after the Communist Party seized full power in 1948 could have been predicted. At the same time, the author aims to discern whether the views and attitudes of the Communist Party towards religion evolved and changed during the interwar period. Keywords communism, ideology, Czechoslovakia, catholic church, newspaper

Title of the thesis: The case study of physiotherapeutical treatment of a patient after knee arthroscopy for meniscal lesions. Author: Martin Přibyl Head of the thesis: Mgr. Lenka Satrapová Year of defense: 2012 Aim: The aim of this thesis is to summarize theoretical findings, application of the methodic of physiotherapy, process of the treatment and the observation its progression in patient after knee arthroscopy for meniscal lesions. Methods: The literature search and the case study of this issue were proceeded within the practical experience (from 9th January 2009 to 9th February 2009) in Centrum léčby pohybového aparátu in Prague (Centre of Motor Apparatus Treatment). The first part of the work is concerned with the theoretical knowledge of the knee joint (anatomy, biomechanics, medical imaging, traumatology and physiotherapeutic methods and examinations). The second part contains the case report which refers to the patient after knee arthroscopy for meniscal lesions, the treatment, the therapy and the pursuance of the curative effect. Results: The state of operated knee improved radically after the treatment, enhance of the muscle mass and its power is significant, augmentation of the knee joint range and normalization of the muscle tone is noticeable. Key words: Knee joint, meniscus,...
Mechanisms of phenotypic plasticity induced by genotoxic stress
Přibyl, Miroslav ; Hodný, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Remešová, Hana (referee) ; Vomastek, Tomáš (referee)
Therapy resistance of malignant cells represents the main reason responsible for the failure of cancer therapy. The growth of malignant cells at primary tumour sites but most importantly the dissemination of tumour cells and their growth at secondary sites, are the main reasons why patients eventually succumb to the disease. Even novel immune-based therapies find their limitation in most tumour types. The therapy resistance is mediated by the tumour cells but also by other cellular components of the tumour microenvironment. Understanding the tumour cells mechanisms and the tumour microenvironment features responsible for therapy resistance enables the development of novel therapeutic strategies. Here, we show that ionizing irradiation, 5-azacytidine, and IFNγ treatments induced expression of suprabasin (SBSN) and therapy-resistant low-adherent phenotype in cancer cells. Knockdown of SBSN resulted in suppression of the phenotype. Next, we identified aberrantly elevated SBSN in the bone marrow of a subgroup of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) patients. SBSN was expressed by myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) and showed significant anti-correlation with T cell abundance and CCL2 levels, hence promises a prognostic value in clinical use. We compiled the most of the relevant knowledge of SBSN...

Legal regulation and taxation of gambling mechanisms in video games
Přibyl, Michal ; Boháč, Radim (advisor) ; Sejkora, Tomáš (referee)
Legal regulation and taxation of gambling mechanisms in video games Abstract In connection with the development and spread of information technologies to most households, new questions arise regarding their legal regulation. The old legal norms cannot keep pace with this development, and therefore a new phenomenon may emerge, which at first glance seems to have been neglected by law. This work explores one of these phenomena of information technology, namely Loot boxes, as a new, modern form of gambling targeted at minors and other vulnerable groups. Some Member States of the European Union, in particular Belgium and the Netherlands, have already reacted correctly to Loot boxes and banned the operation of some Loot boxes on their territory. Other countries, such as the United States, have been talking about regulation for a long time, but it has not yet happened. Loot boxes are internally divided into several types, and for some we cannot talk about gambling. In particular, these are cases where the possibility of buying a Loot box for money or the possibility of selling acquired virtual items for money, or a similar value that can be expressed in money, is completely missing. In my reasonable opinion, some Loot boxes are essentially a game of chance. Despite claims by Loot box operators, many researches...
Effect of targeted training of the lower scapular fixators on the shoulder girdle function of rugby players.
Přibyl, Michal ; Satrapová, Lenka (advisor) ; Reckziegelová, Petra (referee)
Thesis title: Effect of targeted training of the lower scapular fixators on the shoulder girdle function of rugby players The concept of the problem: Rugby is one of the toughest ball sports and there is no shortage of injuries. In addition, injuries in the shoulder area are among the most common and any possibility of reducing these injuries is beneficial. There is not much time left for compensation and targeted intervention; moreover, it is not usually led by physiotherapists but by fitness coaches and only in larger clubs. The consequence is a muscle imbalance in the shoulder girdle, which can result in the so-called scapular dyskinesis. This is turn affects the function and stability of the shoulder joint not only by the overhead athletes. It is possible to influence scapular dyskinesis in various ways. One of them is the inclusion of targeted training of lower scapular fixators into fitness training and thus their stability is improved. Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to verify whether rugby players with painful shoulder have sufficiently scapular fixation based on kinesiological and biomechanical knowledge. Another aim of this thesis is to create such an exercise unit that would ensure the correct activity of the lower scapular fixators and verify this by measurement. The final...
