Development of Motor Skills of Primary School Children Assessed by the Test of the School Readines

The purpose of my research was to determine the level of motor skills and school readiness in preschool and primary school children. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part deals with development of motor skills, school maturity and characteristics of preschool and primary school period. Practical part includes the results of testing fine motor skills and rough motor ability using the assesment of the test of the school readiness. The results for children of different age were mutually compared and then compared with professional literature. Key words: Motor skills, motor development, school readiness

Apart from protection of endangered primate species zoological gardens take an important educational role. Student's education is provided by observation of different primate species and also by special educational programes. It gives opportunity to become familiar with breeding interesting primate species, which are suitable for extracurricular activities of children and youth. TITLE: Heart Function and Disfunction in Human Anatomy Teaching in Schools AUTHOR: Nicole Martinková DEPARTMENT: Department of Biology and Environmental Studies SUPERVISOR: Doc. RNDr. Václav Vančata, CSc. ABSTRACT: This Bachelor's thesis is concerned with the anatomy of the human heart, with its function, and with the most important illnesses of the coronary system. The aim of this thesis is especially to find out how teachers in schools dedicate to the issue of the anatomy and function of the heart and its diseases that are associated with unhealthy diets and poor lifestyle and how they point out the prevention. The research part was created on the basis of interviews with the directors of schools and teachers of biology and natural history in three primary and three secondary schools in Mladá Boleslav and based on study and comparison of educational programs of the schools and the framework of the educational program. The results of the research are presented in the text and in the form of charts and schemes. The research part also compares textbooks of biology and natural history. Instructive Picture in the Fundaments of Humanities and Sciences and its Historical Perspective

This diploma thesis was written in cooperation with the National Pedagogical Museum and Library of J. A. Comenius in Prague. It deals with the vast area of instructive pictures and especially with their potential use in teaching elementary school pupils science, mainly in the second year of elementary schools. The diploma thesis seeks to determine the significance of the instructive picture in its historical perspective, to state whether even nowadays the instructive picture is still a valid teaching aid in teaching of sciences in the educational process. The first, theoretical part of the thesis, the basic concepts concerning the instructive picture, didactic means and the so important psychological approach to perception of pictorial materials are determined. A considerable part of the thesis focuses on the historical development of the school instructive picture in general and on its development in sciences in particular. Also included is a thorough study of the teaching process with the use of rare instructive pictures in the past and the current aims of teaching sciences at present are presented. Health literacy in primary and secondary school and health literacy of university students

This work examines the acknowledges and skills from the first-aid treatment among the students from the primary, secondary schools, also among the students at the universities and teachers with a longtime practise. And from the results of the interview investigation it is looking for the causes of the lowness consciousness and ignorance of the important themes of first-aid treatment. It also investigates if is it possible to leam the first aid in terms of the compulsory education or in cascading grades of education. Especially by means of the study of curriculum (generály educational programs, subjects and biology textbooks). The possible cause of the critical condition of the restrictive student's acknowledges can be teacher's under-qualification. The part of this work is a proposal of the curriculum of health seminar for teachers which is filled with the corresponding studying text.
Dental Care in Primary School Children

This Thesis tries using a questionnaire survey in some primary schools in Kladno identify the main problems of dental hygiene. These problems relate to dental care for pupils of first and second degree. Furthermore, the work potential obstacles to improvement. And finally, possible ways how to solve and prevent this negative situation. The topic of the thesis and still fall within the current problems with children's dental health. This topic is covered by many professionals and research worldwide. The main part is based on information collected during the survey in schools. This part is the extra work complemented by valuable insights and suggestions addressed dentists and dental hygienists. The text has also focuses on the role and effectiveness of preventive school programs. The work also contains theoretical and professional website themes. Most attention is devoted to the actual anatomy of the teeth, tooth decay characteristics and its preventive measures. The social intergation of children with diabetes with respect to educational process

The presented diploma work deals with the integration of children with diabetes in the company with a focus on education. The main objective of this work is to highlight the problems and situations with which it must contend daily pediatric patients with type I diabetes. The project should teach classmates disabled children, how his friends help some complications of their disease. The theoretical part of the work is the basis for the project itself and the practical part deals with both the project itself.

Urolithiasis as a biosocial problem of man

Bachelor thesis Urolithiasis and the influence of dietary habits on human society aims to find out everything about the disease, called urolithiasis. It occurs in humans, but can occur even in animals. Therefore, it is conceived as a natural and medical aspects are not decisive. Urolithiasis affects the urinary tract and renal parenchyma mainly, because the work is in the theoretical part focused first on the general exclusion, which in this work are inherent. It also deals with urolithiasis, since its first references in the literature to the present. How and why it arises, its prevention, causes and etiopathogenetic factors affecting incidence. It occurs in all age groups, without exception, human races and on all continents. In the final phase of the work addresses the investigation, whose aim is to find out what sex is more susceptible to the disease, which age group is more at risk, which increases the risk of job creation and last, the survey focused on respondents and their eating habits. Proper diet, which is meant compliance with dietary habits, insufficient fluid intake and avoidance of different stress conditions is one of the most important factors that have a positive impact on the incidence of urolithiasis.
