This diploma thesis deals with a design of single-engine, multi-purpose, transport airplane in Normal category, given by CS/FAR 23. Design is created in highest constructional and technological accordance with L 410 airplane series. Thesis determines airplanes conceptual layout, basic dimensions, basic weight and center of gravity analysis, aerodynamic and aerostatic foundation, flight performances and airplane properties. Thesis arranges various versions of cabin layouts and describes power plant installation and landing gear construction. Results of the thesis shows, that this design is advantageous in various aspects. Design is comparable with competition from perspective of its performances. Financial analysis showed, that costs of development are returnable in relatively low amount of sold airplanes, for a prices, that are lower than a prices, competition is selling similar airplanes for. Moreover, costs of maintenance are expected to be low, as a consequence of using only one engine unit.
Design of hydrogen pressure tank installation on the VUT 001 Marabu wing
Koštial, Rostislav ; Juračka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Píštěk, Antonín (advisor)
The content of this Master thesis to design installation of hydrogen pressure tanks for airplane VUT RAY 051. Survey was conducted of the available fuel cell on the market. Position of the tank was chosen over the wing using components for mounting a jet engine TJ100 M for aircraft VUT 001 MARABU. For fuel tanks were designed fairings. Further was calculated mass and centre of gravity analysis of aircraft, basic flight performance of aircraft and the drag variation in the location of the tanks above the wing. Further the strain and strength of hinges was calculated.
Design of the nose landing gear for Zlin 40 aircraft
Bednář, Peter ; Jurina, Marek (referee) ; Píštěk, Antonín (advisor)
This master’ thesis deals with the design of the front landing gear for Zlín 40 aircrafts. The main emphasis in the research part of the work is placed on the selection of a new nose landing gear and the subsequent design of the structure. For the structural design was prepared a new mass analysis and load cases. The load-bearing capacity of the structure is verified using analytical and numerical methods of FEM. An important step of the work is the design concept of structure. The aim of the work is to point out the new possibilities of the nose landing gear structure and verify its feasibility for the case of future implementation.
DESIGN, STRESS ANALYSES AND LIMIT LOAD OF SANDWICH STRUCTURES
Design of the main landing gear for Zlin 40 aircraft
Dvořáček, Zdeněk ; Jurina, Marek (referee) ; Píštěk, Antonín (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the modernization of the main landing gear of the Z 143 LSi aircraft. The main emphasis is placed on optimizing of the landing gear shape and its deformation characteristics. Along with this change, variants made of different materials are examined. The landing load is calculated analytically and the load-bearing capacity of the structure is verified using the numerical FEM method. This work brings a possible replacement of the current chassis, which is production-intensive not only in time and money, but also in terms of cooperation with external companies. The objective is to design a new landing gear and verify the feasibility for the case of future implementation.
