The main part of this work is focused on edition the oldest known municipal book of town Březnice from the years 1454-1630. This municipal book belongs to "libri memorabilium," so the texts of memorials in the book contain mainly market contracts, donations, accounts, list of burghers who paid town dues, testaments and the other. This edition includes editor's comment, name, local and material index, picture supplement and the chapters about municipal books, history of Březnice and development of its administration.

The deanery of Turnov in the late Middle Ages

ČASÁROVÁ, V., The deanery of Turnov in the late Middle Ages, the thesis, The Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, 2011, 81 p., 2 supp. The thesis is concerned with the development and the state of the church administration in the territory of the deanery in Turnov, primarily in the first half of the fourteenth century and the beginning of the fifteenth century. I have focused on the parish priests, possession of the parish office and their patrons. The chaptors are divided according to the three spheres of interest and are developed and evaluated from various points of view. The first part of the thesis deals only with the description of the state of particular parish offices, the second one evaluates the discovered facts and tries to put them into context. Guild Book of the Painters of Prague since 1490

This bachelor thesis is dealing with second guild book of painters of Prague, which was created between 1490 and 1582. It updates the older edition written by doctor Chytil and adds new findings with special regard to characterization and analysis of the source. The first part generally mentions development of crafts and guilds in Czech municipality. Next chapter is dealing with the issue of painter`s guild in Old Town, its membership and organization from its origin to beginning of 17th century, in which the group underwent significant changes. Then follows analysis of the book, its external and internal features, that stresses above all palaeography and book`s structure. This part also contains the focal point of the whole thesis. In the last chapter lies the edition of guild`s book, which was made according to modern principles and was supplied with footnotes and name and location index. Church administration of the region of Sušice in the late Middle Ages

The thesis is focused especially on parishes in terms of sponsorial laws, financial circumstances of churches and renting of presbyteries. The text also includes another kinds of benefices in region. The attention is also devoted to local clergy. As main source of information were used administrative sources of Czech archbishopric, primarily confirm and erection books and judicial documents from Prague consistory. For inclusion of the information into the context are also added the parts about Czech church administration in the late Middle Ages and mediaeval history of the Sušice region. St. Adalbert's church in Jílové by Prague

St. Adalbert's Church in Jílové by Prague is one of the oldest monuments in the city and its story is essentially connected with the history of the city and its role as a significant gold deposit. Therefore, in research of his past we should distinguish between two lines of studies - the fate of the church as a parish benefice and the history of this remarkable building and as a historical monument. In the introduction of the thesis we meet the history of the royal city of goldmining, watch the beginnings of his fame, the great boom in the 14th century, the change of conditions after the Hussite wars and the gradual withdrawal of its significance, despite the apparent efforts to restore his position. In following chapter, we see the development of the parish, staffing the benefices, pastors' personalities and their little stories. An interesting point in this chapter is the construction of a Franciscan monastery in Jílové, which temporarily took over the management of the entire parish. In the second section of the thesis we see the establishment of the church-building and its initial form, as well as its reconstruction and modifications to the current appearance. The thesis is focused especially on individual parishes in terms of appointment of parish priests, their financial circumstances and sponsorial laws. The attention is also devoted to local clergy. As main source of information were used administrative sources of Czech archbishopric, primarily confirm and erection books and judicial documents from Prague consistory. The text also includes the parts about situation in Czech church administration in the late Middle Ages and brief history of every single locality.

The testaments of Soběslav and the papers of probate proceeding 1455-1550: the possibilities their usage

Práce se zabývá městem Soběslav, které patřilo pánům z Rožmberka a dochoval se v něm soubor testamentů z let 1455-1550. Soubor se skládá celkem z 83 listinných testamentů. Práce nejprve popisuje testamentární praxi (proces vzniku testamentu) a soubor soběslavských testamentů. Samotný výzkum se zabývá nejprve testátory, kteří byli spřízněni nějakým druhem rodinné vazby. Podrobněji se práce zabývá jednou z těchto rodin, rodinou Račmanů. Druhá část výzkumu se věnuje dluhům a pohledávkám uvedených v testamentech. Tato část se zabývá lokalitami, se kterými vedli testátoři své obchody. Klíčová slova: Soběslav, testamenty, rodinné vztahy, dluhy, pohledávky Annotation Object my diploma's work is Soběslav town, which it belonged to lord of Rozumberk. There was still in existence collection of testaments from years 1455-1550. Collection is comprised of 83 testaments. The work discribes proces sof genesis testaments and collection Soběslav's testaments. First part of study pursue testátore, which they were akin to families. The work detailed discribes of family Račman. Second part of study disciribes by analysis debts and outstandings debt in testaments. The aim of this thesis was to define resemblance of the nunnery from all accessible documents, what property it managed and its organization and role of nunnery in Podblanicko region during pre-feudalism and pre-Husite period.
